Splendor Pokémon

Pokémon Splendor combines the gameplay of the original Splendor game with special Pokémon-based rules, along with changes in art and gameplay, including a Pokémon evolution system. This casual yet engaging twist on the classic offers a fresh experience for both Splendor and Pokémon fans.

The evolution mechanic creatively replaces the nobles from the original game. It allows you to evolve a Pokémon without using an action if you have a certain number of Pokémon of a specific type. This feature enables the combination of capturing a Pokémon to trigger an evolution and upgrade a Pokémon for free. For example, owning a Charmander and three yellow Pokémon lets you get Charmeleon cards at no cost when they appear on the board, as a free action.

Legendary Pokémon require the use of a Master Ball (wild/gold), introducing a reserve action that adds a strategic layer to the gameplay. The game concludes when a player amasses 18 or more points in their collection, wrapping up with a final round, and the player with the highest points tally wins.

Interestingly, the game was originally released in South Korea and, as far as it seems, hasn't been officially issued in any other country. This version of the mod features a manual that I've laid out and translated into Brazilian Portuguese myself, and the script is also in PT-BR. I plan to eventually upload the manual in English (but for those interested, it's easy to find on BGG).
