GBTVGR Language Pack
Von KeyofBlueS
GBTVGR Language Pack replaces the English in-game and cutscenes voiceovers in Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered (2019)
with German, Spanish, French or Italian voices from the original Ghostbusters: The Video Game (2009).

It also provides stereo audio for all cutscenes and the in-game voices volume level has been increased, including English.

Furthermore, lip-sync now matches spoken dialogue in each language during conversations.
While this feature was never implemented in the original game, the necessary animation files were already present in the game data, allowing it to be restored.
Note: lip-sync is obviously not supported in pre-rendered cutscenes, nor in most real-time cutscenes.

INSTALLATION
- Download "GBTVGR Language Pack"[www.nexusmods.com] then extract the downloaded .7z archive.

- Place the "gbtvgr_language_pack" folder anywhere; the program will try to auto-detect the default game folder.

- Alternatively, place the "gbtvgr_language_pack" folder into the main game folder (the same location as ghost.exe):
- On Linux, the game folder is typically found at:
"$HOME/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered/"
- On Windows, the game folder is typically found at:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered\"
"C:\Program Files\Epic Games\GhostbustersRemastered\"

- If successful, the button will turn green and display "Game Directory is Set".
- If unsuccessful, the button stays red and shows "Select Game Directory", letting you manually set it by clicking.
USAGE
- Run "GBTVGR_Language_Pack.exe" (windows) OR "GBTVGR_Language_Pack.AppImage" (linux).
- Select the language from the "dropdown menu" in the top left section of the application window.
- Make sure the game is not running, then click on "Apply Language Pack" to apply the selected language.
- Wait for the process to finish. You can monitor the progress in the log section at the bottom of the window.

In-Game Voices: The program replaces the current W64ENSND.POD file with the version for your chosen language.
Cutscene Voices: The program swaps the current audio tracks with the chosen language audio tracks.

An English pack is also included, featuring stereo audio for all cutscenes and increased volume levels for in-game voices.

Note: Only one language pack works at a time. Voiceovers won't switch based on system language, and the in-game language menu only affects text. Applying multiple packs is futile, as a new one overwrites the current one.

Test the game after installation to ensure everything works as expected. Feel free to delete the GBTVGR_Language_Pack folder afterward.
