How to get the True Ending

This guild is to help anyone who is trying to get the True Ending step by step with the first few steps not really being in order just put gather in a way that helps you for what you need to do to even get the True Ending, so read all the way.

Step 1

1. First before we talk about the first few weeks, to be able to even get the true ending you have to play the game normal difficulty to unlock hardcore difficulty which the game will allow to get the true ending from.

Step 2

Now that we got that out of the way we should look at what is need some levels in Revolt and Radical is needed to trigger the event, so try to max it out as much as you can from the get go, This can be done by talking to your team mates when you have 3 harts with them or can be done by reading books or events.

Step 3

This brings us to step 3 you are going to want to get all of your team mate you pick up along the way to max harts so they will be willing to go with you and join the rebels, this will be asked of you later in the game as one of the things to get the ending.

Step 4

Next step is to attack the rebel scum. There will be about 3 to 4 perimeter position mission of them and make sure its your team mates do these mission so they make so they question why they are killing there own people.

Step 5

When betting each day you may get an event of people trying to get into the city make sure you search them, at some point one of them will be caring weapons you want to let him pass on by.

Step 6

This is where it really starts, at around day 50 maybe a little past day 50 you will be asked to help the rebels say yes, and save up on at least 2 cigarettes or liquor so you can get what they need past the guards.

Step 7

At around day 70 you will be asked to save the rebel's leader on the perimeter missions bored, it will be hard so come prepared. After that you can ask him a few things and be given the choice to jointhe rebels.At which point he will tell you that someone on your team is with them the hollow time go to them and ask what is need to join the rebels (Its Claire, the blue hair women)

Step 8

This is where things get really hard, to join rebels Claire tells you two more things you have to do. The first is they ask you to make sure that everyone on your team willing to join.
The second is to help clean a way for rebels to save you by killing 5 bosses that will be in perimeter mission bored, they look like this.

Step 9?

Not really a step but all of this has to be done before day 99 and you still have to deal with day 99 attack. This is it there is nothing more... So there is meant to be a 3rd ending called defection end which is almost the same thing other then you don't save there leader and the girl that keeps asking you for help offers you the idea of defection. Problem is that she asks you to do all of the perimeter position mission and destruction mission from then all the way too day 99 or at least I think so I have yet to try so find out for us all readers.

Based on the forum discussions and my own experience, I think simply following the guide except on Normal or lower difficulty should be sufficient to get the defection end.

(got it on my first playthrough, I didn't do most of the anti-rebel perimeter missions and didn't get the rebel leader rescue mission or the 5 bosses)

Most of the achievements are easy to get, so when you want to put points into maxing out the time to travel for the perimeter missions and to max out the harts for each of your team mate. That way you spend less time on that and more time on getting your build online for the days ahead.

Huh this is going to be interesting to do, I think if you want to get the true ending easier get all the achievements if possible.
