I'm currently in the process of adding story branching information to this guide, so I'll be including your information as well!! Thank you so much!!
- I loaded the save file from the 2d walkthrough
- broke the glass ball
- in another night scene with a green moon and flying ball of light I threw a sticker at the light ball and it flew away
- did nothing in the library (on 2d walkthrough you have only one shoe, so I just ran through the scene)
- I threw 3 stickers at La Llorona in the bedroom and she left
- I left the birds in the birdhouse
- threw a sticker at the raindow crystal
- broke the crystals with fire sticker
- threw a stiker at the shark and hugged it when it fell down
- broke the finger of a huge doll
I am not wuite sure if my actions were right oor it is just that I used the old save file, but it worked
Thank you again!
The only surefire way left might be to reset your data using the options and play through the game again for the second time.
However, I'm no longer confident in this method, and I know that playing this game over and over again would be a painful experience...
If you are tired of this game, please take a break! I have some free time, so I will continue to play the game and research it! Or maybe the official will give me the correct information... I hope!
If you're playing the game from the third playthrough onwards, I'd guess that the choices to get to the sunset are as follows.
- Don't break the floating ball
- Choose "I don't know" in the library (so you don't go to the true end route)
- Release the bird from the birdhouse
- Use a glowing sticky note to make a warp pool appear from the crystal (so you don't have to break it)
- Get the birds' help in scaring off the sharks (you must free the birds and have the flute)
- Have the doll listen to the scarab beetle record
I think you'll be able to get through the sunset if you take more than half of the actions above.
I am not sure what triggers the sunset though. Is it the glass ball?
