UNCUT for German players

This guide lists 2 different options to help you experience the game uncut.

V1: English game with German voice output. No additional editors necessary
V2: The complete game in German but uncut. Hex Editor required

V1 English game with German voice output. No additional editors necessary

1. Install the game using Steam
   
2. Open the installation directory and navigate to the following folder: steamapps\common\The Saboteur\Sound
   
3. Copy the following file "German.pck" and paste it into a temporary folder
   
4. Rename the file from "German.pck" to "English(US).pck"
   
5. Change the game language in the Steam client to English
   
6. 
   
7. Steam will now download the missing English content for the game
   
8. Open the installation directory and navigate to the following folder: steamapps\common\The Saboteur\Sound
   
9. Now please copy the previously saved, relabeled file "English(US).pck" and paste it into the currently opened directory, replace it
   
10. Done. The game is now completely in English with German voice-over

V2: The complete game in German but uncut. Hex Editor required

This solution was shared in the comments. Thanks to BEN for the input. I have permission to publish it here.

1. Install the game in German using Steam
   
2. Get a hex editor like HxD or a online Hex Edit and open it
   
3. Open the installation directory and navigate to the following folder: steamapps\common\The Saboteur
   
4. Open the file "sku.bin" with your hex editor
   
5. Change the very first 01 to 04
   
   
6. Save it and you're pretty much done, the game should be completely uncensored

Habe den Fehler mit der Sprache gefunden: habe mich im HexEditor an der 01 in der "Überschrift" orientiert und nicht an der 01 eine Zeile tiefer. Ich und HexEditor...hihi.
Jedenfalls ist jetzt alles so, wie es sein soll!

Habe mich für V2 mit dem HexEditor entschieden.

Soweit klappt es, jedoch stellt sich das Spiel dadurch mit Text und Ton auf Englisch. Warum auch immer? Ebenso resetten sich die Auflösungssettings, die ich anfänglich in dem Menü vor dem Spielstart einstellen kann. Laut dem Menü müssten die Einstellungen aber entsprechend im Spiel sein.

Hat jemand eine Idee? Herzlichen Dank!

ok, ich habe eine Lösung gefunden

Falls man schon eineige zeit in das Spiel gesteckt hat und keine lust hat neu anzufangen, der müssen daten aus dem ordner:
"C:\Users\MyName\Documents\My Games\Saboteur™"

In diesen verschoben werden:
"C:\Users\MyName\Documents\My Games\The Saboteur™"
