Any nearby tamed or allied Kelenken as well as Terror Bird will also receive this special vision and any tamed creature within their vision range will be given a "You've Been Targeted" buff to let them know they are being tracked. Creatures with this targeted buff receive an additional 20% damage while it is active.

Once immobilized, walk up and repeatedly feed it fermented sweet melons until it becomes unconscious.

Step 4
Once successfully knocked out, simply place food inside its inventory.

(1) Regular Kibble
(2) Raw Mutton

If Kelenken gets free from the chain bola or normal bola, as long as it has the red glow around its head you can simply use the bola them again and continue the process. If the red glow is no longer visible, just start the entire process over again by getting it below 25% health.

Purussaurus

How to pronounce

Controls & Abilities
Left-Click: Bite
Right-Click: Grab/Drop (can only grab in the water)
Space/Jump (on land only): Tail and Bite super combo
R/Left Ctrl/ Alt Fire: Regurgitate Food

Spawn Regions
Purussaurus can spawn in both the ocean and in the river!

The Island: Rivers, Oceans
The Center: Rivers, Oceans

Regurgitate Ability
Tamed Purussaurus (and mounted wild ones while taming) have the ability to convert food into stamina. This is helpful to continue sprinting or attacking, even long after you should have run out of stamina. This ability also plays into their unique armor mechanic.

Food is Power
Depending on your food bar, you can gain different buffs for your Purussaurus. Depending on your playstyle, and how you manage Purussaurus' food, you can enable different positive (or negative) buffs. Below breaks down the food needed, and the buff given:

'Fat Purussaurus': Purussaurus is well fed. This buff is given to Purussaurus with 100-50% food. They move a little bit slower, but take 15% less damage, while dealing 25% more damage

'Skinny Purussaurus': Purussaurus has puked up enough food that they have lost most of their fat reserves. In the water they mode 25% faster, and 15% faster on land. They do not gain armor or melee buffs. This buff is given to Purussaurus who have 49-20% food.

'Malnurished': When Purussaurus' food is below 20% they gain this debuff. They take 25% more damage, and their attacks do 20% less damage. This buff should be avoided!

Note: Only ADULT Purrusaurus have these buffs. As babies naturally do not have full food, they cannot gain these buffs. Feeding your Purussaurus will increase their food, changing their hunger state. Regurgitating food is the best way to reduce food, and is a naturally consequence of regurgitation. Managing this is the best way to utilize Purussaurus!

How to Tame
Taming a Purussaurus is very similar to taming a Carcharadontosaurus. They must be tamed in the water, and you will want to make sure you have good armor. Swim up to Purussaurus on a tame, and allow that tame to get grabbed by Purussaurus. The tame must be a drag weight of 500 or less.

After Purussaurus grabs the tame, you need to quick hop on the back of Purussaurus! Once mounted, you need to go around killing creatures. Once enough creatures have been killed, you'll have tamed a Purussaurus! Creatures with a higher drag weight will add more to the taming bar, while smaller ones do less. Either tamed OR wild creatures can be used.

If you don't kill creatures fast enough, you will be bucked off of Purussaurus. This will most likely end in your death. Because Purussaurus are strong, having a good armored creature, or a creature with decent health to be initially grabbed would be helpful. A Turtle might be the best option for a high level Purussaurus.

It moves much faster than larger than the Brontosaurus and doesn't lose much efficiency in its ability to harvest valuable resources such as berries, wood and thatch. Creature - Siamosaurus: Part 1

Other Variants
Gustave Siamosaurus
Aberrant

Siamosaurus
Siamosaurus is a fairly complex creature. In the wild they are neutral with the exception of a few select creatures: Anglerfish, Cnidaria, Coelacanth, Piranha and Sabertooth Salmon. They have a devastating bite, a very quick and powerful claw attack along with a tail swipe that deals a good amount of impulse to smaller sized creatures.

How to pronounce
Sigh-am-o-saurus

Controls & Abilities
Left-Click: Bite
Right-Click: Claw (land only)
C/Right Thumbstick: Roar, Berzerk Roar
Alt Fire: Tail Swipe
Space: Dash Forward (water only)

- Immunity to Cnidaria and Electrophorus
- Can gather Angler Gel, Bio Toxin, Black Pearls and Silica Pearls
- 25% weight reduction on both pearls

- "Flashover"
You can use Angler Gel (0 Slot on your hotbar) to make Siamos stronger and faster. They also can do a far stronger tail attack by holding Alt Fire.

As more Angler Gel you feed it, as stronger it becomes. But as more you feed, as less time you have in this modus! You can feed Siamosaurus a max of 40 times before it will reach 100% strength and at this point it will enter berzerk mode.

- "Berzerk mode"
Siamosaurus will deal 150% damage, gain 5 health per second and its speed will be increased to 125%. At this point you will notice you have a very limited amount of time. You can, however, make good use of the additional 10 times you can feed Siamosaurus a piece of Angler Gel in this stage. When you feed it Angler Gel in berzerk mode, the closer the clock is to 0:00 the more additional bonus time you will earn with the buff.

Once your timer has run out you will enter the sizzled out phase. During this time, Siamosaurus has become worn out and will now need to re-energize itself. Once this debuff is given you will notice your stats have now received a significant penalty. Siamosaurus will now only deal 75% damage, its speed will be decreased to 50% and it will lose 10 stamina per second. The amount of time it takes you to re-energize is completely dependent on how many times you fed your Siamosaurus a piece of Angler Gel. There is quite a large difference in the amount of time it takes to re-energize between feeding it a few Angler Gel and feeding it 50 times.

Spawn Regions
Siamosaurus are commonly found on the coastlines, but due to their aggressiveness towards certain creatures they will sometimes wander out into the water on their own. You will find them naturally spawn in the deeper parts of the Ocean as well. Alpha Siamosaurus are limited to only have a chance to spawn in the ocean waters, not along the beach.

There is a 5% chance when Siamosaurus spawns it will become an Alpha variant.

How to Tame
To tame one, you'll need a good quality assault rifle, and plenty of ammo. I'd also suggest using a taming pen of some type, as to avoid getting eaten. Taming has 3 steps.

First, you need to damage Yangchuanosaurus enough that it will do a heal roar.

Once it does this, shoot it with the gun. Only shots that hit while its healing will increase torpor. Repeat these two steps over and over, until Yangchuanosaurus passes out.

Then you are free to feed it kibble! They prefer the higest tier kibble; Extraordinary kibble!

Synergy
If you also have a Zuniceratops, then the Zuniceratops will gain a buff that allows it to carry more resources! This works regardless if the Yang has a rider, so bring one along on your next mining mission!
