1. Ride The Silverwastes Gold Train
Riding The Silverwastes Gold Train involves participating in a series of dynamic events on the Silverwastes map, a level 80 area that you can access through Fort Vandal in the Brisban Wildlands.

Once there, look for groups in the map chat or use the Looking For Group (LFG) tool to find a party aiming to defend forts and take part in meta events like the Breach and Vinewrath bosses.

These events happen cyclically, meaning once you complete a series of events, they will start over, allowing continuous participation. After defeating these bosses, the group usually goes on a chest farm using shovels obtained during the events to unearth buried treasure chests.

The key to maximizing your gold from this method is to participate fully in the events and follow your group closely during the chest farm.

  • Access & Requirements: Level 80; accessible via Brisban Wildlands.
  • Solo or Group: Group-oriented for event participation.
  • Time Estimate: 1-2 hours per session.
  • Gold Per Hour: ~15-20 gold.
  • Additional Information: Look for LFG groups under Open World Content. Coordination with map participants enhances reward efficiency.
2. Turn Crafting Into Profit
Turning Crafting Into Profit requires an understanding of the Guild Wars 2 economy and identifying items in demand, such as consumables used in raids or materials needed for high-level crafting.

This information can be gleaned from the Trading Post or community forums where players discuss current game meta. Start by leveling up a crafting profession that allows you to make these sought-after items.

This may involve gathering materials yourself or purchasing them from the Trading Post. Once you've crafted the items, sell them on the Trading Post.

The trick is to sell at a price that covers your costs and nets you a profit, considering the Trading Post's listing and transaction fees.

  • Access & Requirements: Crafting disciplines leveled up; may require expansion recipes.
  • Solo or Group: Solo activity.
  • Time Estimate: Varies based on crafting and market research.
  • Gold Per Hour: Highly variable.
  • Additional Information: Utilize GW2Spidy or GW2Efficiency for market trends. Crafting in-demand items like consumables for raids can be particularly profitable.
3. Keep A Side Character
Keeping A Side Character at strategic locations allows you to capitalize on daily rewards with minimal effort. Place these characters at the end of jumping puzzles or near valuable resource nodes.

Each day, log in with these characters to quickly complete the puzzles or gather the resources, then either use these items yourself or sell them for gold.

This method takes advantage of the game's daily reset, which replenishes the rewards available from puzzles and resource nodes.

  • Access & Requirements: Additional character slots; some locations may need story progression.
  • Solo or Group: Solo.
  • Time Estimate: 5-10 minutes per character.
  • Gold Per Hour: Efficient for daily collections.
  • Additional Information: Ideal for parking characters at the end of jumping puzzles or near rich material nodes for daily rewards.
4. Complete Those Dailies Regularly
Completing Those Dailies Regularly is one of the most straightforward methods to earn a steady income.

Guild Wars 2 offers a range of daily achievements that can include anything from participating in specific events, crafting, gathering, and more.

Completing these achievements rewards you with gold, experience, and items that can be sold or used.

The daily achievements are accessible from your Hero panel under the Achievements tab, allowing you to select tasks that align with your playstyle or goals for the day.

  • Access & Requirements: Various, based on daily activities.
  • Solo or Group: Mostly solo; some activities might require groups.
  • Time Estimate: 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Gold Per Hour: ~2-4 gold.
  • Additional Information: Dailies offer a steady source of income and materials, with a new set available each server reset.
5. Sell Crafting Materials
Selling Crafting Materials gathered during your adventures can be a lucrative way to earn gold.

As you play, you'll naturally accumulate materials from defeating enemies, completing events, and gathering from nodes scattered throughout the world.

Regularly check your inventory and bank for excess materials that you can sell on the Trading Post. Keep an eye on market trends to sell when prices are high.

  • Access & Requirements: No specific requirements; high-level materials may need mastery access.
  • Solo or Group: Solo.
  • Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes for inventory management.
  • Gold Per Hour: Variable.
  • Additional Information: Keep your material storage clear and your wallet full by selling excess crafting materials on the Trading Post.
6. Get On The World Bosses/Champions Train
Getting On The World Bosses/Champions Train involves joining a group of players who move from one world boss to the next, defeating them for loot.

Use the LFG tool to find a group or keep an eye on map chat for announcements. World bosses spawn at set times throughout the day, which you can track using online schedules or in-game timers.

Participating in these events not only provides a fun and engaging combat experience but also rewards you with valuable loot that can be sold for gold.

  • Access & Requirements: Accessible to all players; some locations may be high-level.
  • Solo or Group: Group; requires many players.
  • Time Estimate: 1-2 hours for a full train.
  • Gold Per Hour: ~10 gold.
  • Additional Information: World boss timers help plan your participation. Tequatl offers some of the best loot among world bosses.
7. Brave The Fractals
Braving The Fractals of the Mists offers increasing rewards with increasing difficulty.

Start by accessing the Fractals from the hub in Lion's Arch, and work your way up through the levels as you acquire better gear and gain experience.

Higher-level fractals provide not only a challenge but also significant rewards including exclusive gear and materials. Regular participation and progression through the fractal levels will enhance your earning potential.

  • Access & Requirements: Level 80; higher tiers need Agony Resistance.
  • Solo or Group: Group; designed for five players.
  • Time Estimate: 1-2 hours for daily fractals.
  • Gold Per Hour: 15-20 gold.
  • Additional Information: Fractals scale in difficulty, with higher levels offering better rewards. Agony Resistance is key for T2-T4.
8. Convert Currency (Not Just Gems)
Converting Currency involves using in-game currencies like Karma and Laurels to purchase items that can be sold on the Trading Post for gold.

This method requires a bit of research to identify which items offer the best conversion rate from currency to gold. Keep an eye on the Trading Post to determine the best times to sell these items for maximum profit.

  • Access & Requirements: Various; specific vendors/items may require expansions.
  • Solo or Group: Solo.
  • Time Estimate: 30 minutes.
  • Gold Per Hour: Dependent on market values.
  • Additional Information: Strategic currency conversion, such as Karma to gold, can be lucrative. Use GW2Efficiency for the best conversion rates.
9. Get Trade Post Flipping
Trade Post Flipping is for those with a keen eye on the game's economy. It involves buying items at a low price and selling them at a higher price.

Success in flipping requires monitoring the Trading Post for price trends and predicting which items will increase in value.

This method carries some risk, as market conditions can change, but it also has the potential for high rewards for those who master it.

  • Access & Requirements: Initial capital; understanding of GW2 economy.
  • Solo or Group: Solo.
  • Time Estimate: 1-2 hours daily.
  • Gold Per Hour: Potentially high.
  • Additional Information: Buying low and selling high on the Trading Post requires market knowledge and timing for significant profit.
10. META Map Event Farming
META Map Event Farming requires participation in large-scale events that occur in various expansion and Living World maps.

These events, known as META events, require coordination among a large group of players to complete objectives and defeat bosses.

Efficiency and teamwork are key to maximizing the rewards from these events, which can include rare items and materials.

Use the LFG tool to join groups focusing on these events and contribute to the group's objectives to collect substantial rewards.

  • Access & Requirements: META events often require expansion access.
  • Solo or Group: Group; efficiency improves with coordination.
  • Time Estimate: 1-2 hours per event.
  • Gold Per Hour: ~20-30 gold.
  • Additional Information: Efficiency and rewards are influenced by event choice and group coordination. LFG tool helps find groups.

Good tips, maybe add fishing
It's RNG but usually +20 g an hour I think
Can be like +10 g only if unlucky etc
But what I like about it is that it's not on timers and I can take a break whenever I want
Can relax and listen to music or a podcast
Some find it too boring though
