[I] Doesn't Exist (Incomplete) Guide
By MulliganCoffee
I noticed that there were no guides, so I thought I'd try my hand at it. I only got the one ending because I didn't realize there would be more than one. I will update this with the other four soon.

Gameplay Basics
As taught in the tutorial, you must input commands for your little guy.
Here's the best commands, in my opinion;

/walk to (object)
/look at (object) (For more info)
/take the (object)

Having your character walk to something allows you to wait instead of having to time it with the enter key to get them to stop walking.
Achievements
Can You Pet the Mushroom?
Walk to the mushroom, then input /pet the mushroom.

{I} doesn't exist
Speak with the mushroom and when it asks what you would like to know about, simply input /I

Chill out Zone
Walk to the hammock, then input something like /lay in hammock.
Must be done before you cause the hammock to fall.

Fireside Chat
Light the campfire and input /sit down by the fire.

Parasite
Say Parasite while by the jukebox that has those letters floating from it.
In the Green World.

Reconciliation
Be kind to the Character and agree that you want to help them. The first ending.

Suppression
Be cruel to the Character and agree that you want them gone. The third ending.
Pre-Door Walkthrough
Exit the tutorial and into the cavern.

/walk right
You'll exit the cave and the visuals will come back.

Chill out Zone
Walk to the hammock, then input something like /lay in hammock
Must be done before you cause the hammock to fall.

/take the nail
The hammock will fall down and you will gain the nail.

/walk to vending machine or /walk right until you hit it.
/use the nail on the vending machine.

You will now have access to the bolt cutters and the matches. Take both.

/walk to logs or /walk right until you hit it.
/take a log and /walk to fire so you can start a campfire.

/set down the log and /use the matches.
Light the campfire and input /sit down by the fire so the poor guy can take a break.

Head back to the logs to /take a log

/walk to the bucket and /throw the log at the bucket so it will fall.
Unfortunately, now we have an anchor to deal with.
Luckily, we have the cutters.

/use the cutters and /take the bucket.
Now, we'll /walk to the shower

/fill the bucket and bring it over to the fire.
/use the bucket and we'll have some fresh boiling water.
/walk to ice and /use the bucket, and voila! We have a screwdriver.

/take the screwdriver and /walk to the jukebox
/use the screwdriver to open the jukebox and reveal the battery so we can /take the battery.

/walk to clock to /put the battery in the slot and the clock will start up.
The clock hand is stuck perfectly where we can grab it, so we'll /take the clock hand.

/walk to the safe.

If you have not gotten the achievements mentioned earlier, now is the time.

/use the clock hand on the safe and /take the key, we're almost out the door.

/go to the door and /use the key.
Post-Door Experience
Talk to your character, they are not doing too hot.

/Are you okay?
/I'm sorry
/How can I help?

Say my name
Make sure to ask, /What's your name?
I named them Blanche, after the white color they turn when they have more autonomy.

Go nuts with your questions and comments, it's honestly the best part of the game.

After a bit, the Mushroom will ask you to keep 'distracting' them and will transport you to a 'new game' after another question or two.

You'll be making cut-out art, and the very last one will just be our guy. Whatever you name that art will be what the Mushroom refers to them as for the rest of the game. (It was very awkward when the Mushroom called Blanche 'I'm sorry')

The world will fall apart back into the Green World. The Character will ask you about the Mushroom and your thoughts about both them and themself. The way you respond correlates to the endings, so go further into the guide if you're seeking out a specific one. For this ending, be kind to them.

The Mushroom will ask you to distract the Character with the radio. They will listen to it and say that it sounds off. They figure out that there's a coded riddle.

"Reflections made in heat seldom show the truth."
Answer: Ice

There will be another clue there.

"Someone's knocking"
Answer: The Door

The Character will go to the door before panicking, saying that you're just trying to trying to get rid of them. This sends them into a panic attack. You talk them through it.

The Mushroom returns and tells you that there is no other way.

You are transported to a three-dimensional world. If you look behind you, there is a maze. You find your way through the maze by choosing answers to questions written on the walls. What you choose changes your ending.

You will be led up stairs to a walkway with trees that you quite literally walk over. You walk through the door and into a black room with green stripes. There is a pass code to the door in the room, which you can find by walking to a specific spot in the room.

Code: Liminality

After going down a long hallway, you'll find yourself in a small room with words on the walls (things like gullible and helpless). You press the button in the middle of the room and are suddenly in complete black with the Character telling you to 'face them'.

Turn around to face the Mushroom. The Mushroom claims to keep order. They panic, lashing out at you and the Character. The Character takes control and makes the two of you talk.

Eventually, the Character decides it's enough and pulls you back into the Green World. You two talk more. Then, the Mushroom takes control of you to tell the Character to leave.

The Mushroom forces you to quit the game.
Stare at your screen for a few more seconds, then start the game again.

The Character talks about finally leaving, and how you did a good job. They would be back, and it might be bad like this time again, but they are sure you will do a good job again.

Depression leaves, and the game ends. Ending One.
Post-Door Meanie (Ending 3)
Why are you here?

What do you want to tell me?

Can we look at the hammock?

Parasite.

Parasite
Say Parasite while by the jukebox.

The Mushroom says that they made those letters float out of the jukebox to remind them what they really are. The Character is very hurt.

Please go away.

What is this place?

Where is the mushroom?

I wanna leave.

Why won't you leave?

What are you? (allows you to name them)

No.

They ask your name.

(Name)

The Character will declare that they want to be called your name backwards (Tom = Mot)

No.

What is that?

What's happening?

Why does the world look like this?

Play the game.

The world falls apart.

They ask you to ask questions.
(You can refuse, it will happen eventually)

Yes.

Ask away. Things like:
Can we look at (object)?
(They refuse commands.)

Eventually, they will say they want to ask you questions.

Fine.

What do you think of them?

Sad.
(Something negative)
Agree that it is negative.

Do you always tell someone if you don't like them?

No.

Do you want them to leave?

Yes.

Because you dislike them or because the mushroom told you?

You hurt me.

They're very aware of that.

Does the mushroom's way work?

No.

Should you do this more often?

No.

It could help you three heal. Still a bad plan?

Yes.

Think about it?

No.

Say anything now. It doesn't matter. They will spiral.

Change their words.

"I want to be alone."

Please go away.

They guess that the Mushroom put you up to this.

No.

The Mushroom will ask you to distract the Character with the radio. They will listen to it and say that it sounds off.

What is it?

They figure out that there's a coded riddle.

"Reflections made in heat seldom show the truth."
Answer: Ice

There will be another clue there.

"Someone's knocking"
Answer: The Door

The Character will go to the door before panicking, saying that you're just trying to trying to get rid of them. This sends them into a panic attack.

You're hurting me

They accuse you of changing the subject. They ask if it's too much to ask for help once.

Yes.

They stop. They apologize for being a burden.

Thank you.

They scream for you to shut up. They ask if you don't care, now, when they need you.

I don't care.

Go away.

They feel sick.

Just leave.

They're panicking. They beg you to tell them what to do.

Leave.

They realize that you truly do not care. That no one cares about them. You tell them again anyways.

I don't care.

They can't breathe.

Leave

The Mushroom tells you that you need to take control.

Take control.

You will be transported to a three-dimensional world. Look behind yourself and enter the maze. The answers will guide you through.

You are: Ignorant
You trust: Myself
Do you trust me?: No
Do you understand?: No
Do you WANT to understand?: No

You will be led up stairs to a walkway with trees that yield as you pass. You walk through the door and into a black room with green stripes. There is a pass code to the door in the room, which you can find by walking to a specific spot in the room.

Code: Liminality

After going down a long hallway, you'll find yourself in a small room with words on the walls. Gullible. Ignorant. Independent.

Press the button.
You are suddenly in complete black with the Character telling you to 'face them'.

Turn around to face the Mushroom. The Mushroom claims to keep order. They panic, lashing out at you and the Character. The Character takes control and makes the two of you talk.

The Mushroom asks if this is what you want.

No.

They tell you to tell the Character that you don't want their help.

I don't want your help.

The Character demands you to ask the Mushroom questions.

What are you?

What are they?

The Mushroom asks what they are to you.

Depression.

They agree but add that the Character is everything that makes you feel bad.

What is this place?

The Character decides that it is their turn. The two of you return to the Green World.
They ask if you are okay.

No.

What do you want?

They want you to get to know them.

Who are you?

They ask if you are truly that clueless.

Yes.

They are not surprised. They do not tell you. You should not expect from them what they cannot get from you.

Where are we?

Can we look at the cats?

Can w look at the mirror?

What do you see when you look in the mirror?

Myself.

Why are you doing this?

The Mushroom takes control and the world goes weird. The Character and the Mushroom argue. You cannot speak, it is always the Mushroom.

You quit the game.

You start the game.

The tutorial starts, but the Character quickly interrupts to announce his surrender.

/take the key
/walk to door
/go out the door
/walk right

The Character interrupts once more to go straight to the door. They bicker with the Mushroom more, then ask you if you like them leaving right away.

Yes.

The Mushroom asks if you want them to docile 'it'.

Yes.

The Character asks if you truly want them to leave. The Mushroom tells you to tell them.

Yes.

Suppression
Ending 3
Post-Door Revelations
The Mushroom asks if you wouldn't rather forget.

Yes

We're all in this together

Change is needed

The usual, but be kind to both.

Will you give the Mushroom a second chance?

Yes.
Stagnation
What is this place?

Essentially, ask about surroundings. Whenever the topic shifts to them, never be kind, but don't be mean too often.

After the minigame:

Be as neutral as possible, erring on the side of mean to the Character. Yes, you dislike them. Yes, you formed your own opinion. Yes, you want them to leave. If at the end the Character says you've been nice, restart.

When the Mushroom asks you to change their words, it worked best for me to entirely erase it besides the final ellipses. Agree with the mushroom without being outright cruel.

Unlike you should in real life, do not help them through their panic attack. Be neutral.

Agree with the mushroom without being cruel. In the maze, I took helpless, no, I don't feel guilty, yes, I like myself, myself, loop through yes, I trust Them then no, I don't understand, I don't want to understand.

To both of the Mushroom's questions:

No.

Question the mushroom however you wish.

A the end, answer yes to the Character's questions. Stick with the Mushroom.

Ending: Stagnation

I can help you with getting the Stagnation achievement. Just... just act like you hate yourself ._.

I don't remember the exact answers, but I played this game during a difficult period and recorded it so that I could make my own guide later (as you can see, I never did), so every time I got the same ending. I can share my vids so that you can find the exact procedure.

Thanks. I'll do the same if I find it first :)

Unfortunately, Stagnation is the only one I've been unable to get. I'll make sure to update this guide and message you when I find the correct route!

This guide is so great thanks! I can‘t find Stagnation though. Do you have any hints there?
