How to collect many seeds 🌱 FOR FREE

A short Guide/Tip on how to collect alot of seeds in Kynseed without going to Mr Fairweather, buying from shops or waiting for the Goods Market

Intro

Before we get started I do want to say that I'm only in year 7 in game, haven't taken anything from Mr fairweather (the evil Easter bunny🐰) other than the Clockwork Clock and I'm slowly progressing through the story + map.

This is going to be a small guide for collecting many seeds, for free, to use for whatever you want.

Step 1 : Get Blessed; Super Grass

So as you should know...
In game there are 6 goddesses that you give offerings to every solsday, the last day of the week, and then gain blessings from.

The blessing and goddess we're looking at today is Naida and her blessing of Super Grass




Super grass is a blessing that gives you a "low chance to find seeds from grass"

This is only a 3 Star blessing and you can achieve this blessing with just a 3 star basil (or any other plant/herb that she accepts)





NOTE: Currently, as of the big build update, you can only gain this blessing in Spring & Summer solsday
Correction, as of 08/03/2024, I got the option in Autumn for a blessing from Naida... so I'm not sure if it's randomly generated or it's a mistake

Pros & Cons

Pros:

• Get seeds from literally just cutting grass for about a week (or longer)
  
• Doesn't really cost anything
  
• Have seeds that you probably haven't seen before

Cons:

• You get the Slo-Gro curse which means that fruits and berries take an extra day to replenish (for that week)
  
• Can also get the Blue Rain curse in the summer time, it causes you to gain less friendship points when it's raining
  
• Cutting grass doesn't count towards upgrading your sickle

Step 2 : Cut Grass

So after you've chosen the 3 Star blessing of Super Grass from Naida you should find some grass to cut

This is what the grass looks like:
(Summerdown, Loverwood)

It's usually two colours, purple or yellow (so far as I've seen)

Map Areas

I believe finding a big concentration of grass to cut is best, so here's some areas I go to...

Vale, Willowdown Farm
· Your farm, below where the windmill is, on the far north-east corner


Mellowfields, Cunning Plots
· Right as you enter from Rivermoor, south-east corner
(accessed through progressing through the story)


Mellowfields, Freyl's Fields
· Just as you enter from Mellowbrook, also the section in the south-east corner
(also accessed through progressing the story and exploring)


these are just the areas that I found so far, I will add more if I find new areas I like

What kind of seeds?

Here's a list of seeds you gain from this:

• Wheat
  
• Radish
  
• Barley
  
• Lettuce
  
• Carrot
  
• Cabbage
  
• Leek
  
• Turnip
  
• Pumpkin
  
• Cavewort
  
• Sunflower
  
• Iris

A high % of these seeds will probably be Wheat seeds, then Radish or Barley and then the rest
(I don't know the actual seed drop % is in game files )

Some Extra Info

Oops, it's in a pond

Sometimes when collecting seeds they can drop into areas you can't reach, such as into a pond.


But no need to fret, you have a fishing rod and you can use it to get it out
(fyi you can use your fishing rod to get things from places you can't reach)

And just like that... the grass respawns

The grass doesn't take that long to regenerate. Literally by the next day, at 6 AM, it's back... for you to cut again

I've notice this game seems to be abit unknown and there isn't alot of guides out there. I kinda just stumbled upon this method and haven't seen much out there talking about how good the Super Grass blessing is.
