Note to Self: A reminder on how to break the game
By FOXXOF
The game has a lot of RNG. This is a guide you will use to reduce the RNG as much as you can.

Equips, and should you
First things first. FIND MAGMA and Iron.
You will need a Magma Forge, as it gives a +3 to weapons, +2 to armor, and +1 to helm, boots and gloves.
Iron : Make a full set of Iron equipment. 126 Iron in total. +11 Damage + 19 Defense + 3 Parry
With this, you can at least survive common enemies.

THEN
THEN

Find someone with 50 smithing skill.
The RNG method is recruiting a Goblin Artificer with Insane Debuff, which means 30+20 smithing.
Seal off the Magma Forge Area and make him a small room where he will spend most of his time in your place. When you want to have him smith, evacuate the area, and manually control him. This Goblin is only here to craft you Adamantine Gear.

The less RNG method is to find a blacksmith on the map. One that has Goblins in them. This map has a Goblin Artificer with 50 smith, but cost 250 coins.

THEN
THEN

Go to Z Level 13, dig close to the Adamantine Ore, but away from the ? on the map, those are Adamantine Golems. You only need maybe 112 Adamantine Ore for the initial investment. Make the armors and preferably a two handed weapon of your choice, and bash the Adamantine Golem's Head so that you can secure the Adamantine Ores.

If you have the money when using your iron armor, deleting low level enemies for 1200 Coins, make a Magma Jeweller and craft the 100 Coins Glyphs. 33 Defense armor into 65 defense armor? 400 coins and 40 adamantine, what a steal.

Give this set to your favorite headbasher, yourself if you are a Knight Keeper.
With a full set, that's at least +72 Attack +136 Defense. What did it cost? 132 Adamantine Ore and 1200 Gold Coins.

Accessories, and why the f**k
This is where this game became BONKERS.

RING OF SPYING <- INGAME CHEAT!
Have you ever dreamed of becoming an Auditor? Certified by the ACCA? Well dream no more.
As long if you are close to a settlement or hostile, it will transform you into one of the inhabitants.
The game is now called AMONGUS. Sneak in, bash their skull in, enslave their women and children, gain EXP. There is no need to command 100 goblins in a grand campaign against the Elves. Just you, his axe, and one ring to fool them all. No Damage Run LETS GOOOOO!
However, don't steal unless you have killed all the hostiles, it might blow your cover.
No seriously, not even dragons are immune to this ring. All you need is patience.
The biggest kick in the nut? It only cost a Jeweler Table, a minion that can a craft jewelry, and 40 coins. Yes, 40 coins.

They devs patched this so that you have no attack value when you wear the Ring of Spying.
Still a good option if you don't plan on getting ganged while travelling.

AMULET OF ELF VISION
Have you ever thought that the tree speak elvish? Well, worry no more, and explore the maps during daytime in top speed. Allows you to see and shoot through trees. Cost? 20 coins.

Amulet of Regeneration
Was supposed to be the greatest amulet, costing 60 coins. Is beaten by the Keeper's Healing Spell.
Might work better if worn by melee minions.

Ring of Spell Damage
I dunno... 40 coins and switching all melee damage into magic damage, sounds great in theory. Situational at best, against those who resist melee or weak to magic.

Ring of Poison Resistance
Instead of getting it, beat up the hydra, get hydra tongue, get advance alchemy, and craft a PERMANENT POISON RESISTANCE POISON.
Alchemy, and why bother
Aside from the Permanent Poison Resistance Potion said in the previous section, this is going to be a gold sink.

Although it adds some flair to combat, just imagine if you can turn 100 coins into +10 Atk or +10 Defense. Cool right?

But you need an Enchanted Pool. The one that is said to respawn Krakens from time to time.
Make the Enchanted Laboratory, and know why you can never have enough coins.
Z-Level Layer
Level 8 : Zombie Horde
Level 13 : First Adamantium
Level 15 : Enchanted Pool (kinda guaranteed?)
Level 18 : Black Dragon
Level 23 : Balrog
Level 24 : Don't bother unless you absolutely need Adoxium & Infernite, but if you do:

From level 24 onward, ONLY USE SLAVES!!!
The fire golems will not bother them.
Prisoners
You have not explored a lot of slave types, but,
Female Dwarves : Easily found up to level 23. Slow, but decent diggers. Male Dwarves are cray cray, killing them will destroy the tribe.
Female Elves : ♥♥♥♥ the Male Elves and their bows. The Female are good at making "Accessories". Though you don't need it above level 1.

Sometimes, the map spawns a Blacksmith that's guarded by Human, not sure if it's a guaranteed 8 Craft, but I captured the smith there.
Keeper Minions Opinions
Harpy : Kinda OK.
Harpy : The 7 harpy you can recruit with Gold? TOTALLY WORTH IT. Not only do they have increased stats. Equip them with good armor, amulet of elf vision, and a battleaxe of magic damage, and they'd steamrole whole maps.

The only thing beating the Harpies?
Goblin Mage : With full Adaxium, these bad bois will kill elves with KAMEHAMEHA. RIP TORIYAMA.

Werewolves and Vampires are... alright
Goblin Warriors also equip bow if that's your thing, beware of friendly fire.
Gnome Keeper
If resource is not an issue, Gnome will steamroll the whole map for you no problem. The only issue I have with them is the lack of Jeweller, specifically the Magma Jeweller.

They also lack Archery, so you can only loot bows from enemy, and not craft them.

Even without them, the Automatons are just broken beyond recognition.
What I suggest is to use a mix of Infernite and Adaxium. Say the body is infernite, add Adaxium Arms.
Full infernite vs Elementals are just a nogo.

As said, the only issue with Gnome are resources. If you plan well, you can make the least amount of Automatons and never have your base ever compromised.

As an insurance, try to imprison the Gnomes in an isolated area, and rely on the Automatons to run the base.
Storage
This is not rimworld.

A tile that is marked as resource or equipment drop point can hold infinite item.

For the sake of your own sanity, create those specialized equipment storage, else, just mark 1 tile for resource, and one for equipment. It does not matter if you place 1 resource tile in every level, since the resources need not be accessible for crafting to commence. You just need to make sure that the item is placed inside the tile.

You can break the game further by raiding yourself. Magma jeweler is not necessary - just have another dungeon make all the glyphs and jewelry you will ever need. Also a better source of adoxium is taking it from yourself.

Here is a dungeon with all the loot you could ever want. And Keepers to recruit.

Note that an elementalist and shamans' summons power depends on the summoners magic stat.

This means there is no limit can scale up these infinitely expendable units.

Oh, and I figured out how mostly to clone units. This is useful.

solid tips 😁

There's more than one enchanted pool, though beyond the initial it's kind of random. And not all of them spawn krakens - just the one that you are guaranteed to encounter.

An interesting guide! Do you have any tips for finding an Enchanted Pool? I've been reduced to digging grids in various underground levels trying to find it.
