Learning Resources For New Players

Hallo Hallo.

Normally I didn't intend to make this as a guide, but considering some scrub went plagiarizing my forum thread claiming it as his own while doing nothing but copy pasting my thread and replacing my name and with his own, I guess I'll have to make this myself because it doesn't sit well with me seeing others just claim my work as their own, and unlike said scrub, I'll be keeping it updated.

Intro

Hello one and all, I'm Anubis "C.C." Shadowsong, and today I'll be taking on the role as your friendly librarian, and giving everyone a lot of learning resources, from character guides to guides about basics.

These are mainly aimed towards players who are new to Tekken or even the Fighting Game Community in general, afterall, we all have to start somewhere.

I am hoping that people can keep it friendly and be helpful, so if you know of any guide that can be worth it for others to watch and I didn't list it up here, feel free to link in the comments, and if it's something worth it, I'll add it up here with a shoutout.

As for our new Tekken and FGC members, feel free to ask any question, myself and others will gladly offer advice and information needed.

*I am aware that this is just day 1, so Clive ill potentially get a different guide when better ones appear, but as a day 1 thing, PhiDX's breakdown is pretty solid and should suffice as a base for anyone wanting to pick up the character.

Note on Jun and Lidia: Mastermind usually does the videos in both multiple parts and as broken down to individual lessons, so if you watched the whole thing and need a quick refresher for only some parts, check his channel, or if you only want those specifics, check his channel.

There's more stuff on the internet, but I feel like these are the bigger ones that should be used, main reason being, that except Mishima Complex's vids, those are the only ones that get updates. Like, there's this really good serie by Syndox, which are nice bite size videos with overall tips for the matchups, linked bellow, but, no updates, so those 10 videos are all we be getting, hence why I didn't feel like adding them beside using Syndox's stuff as example:

I will try to keep this one more updated, and while, it does look complete right now, I do plan on cutting down on the Lili guides with more up to date ones, and I am considering adding some more intermediate guides in the future, as well as future DLC characters when they come out.
