General info
If you ever join a squad and feel lost, remember: play the objective.

When spawning in a match, you can click on the names of your squadmates to join them in vehicles.

On the Deploy Screen, check where your squadmates are heading to ensure a successful strategy.

Check the minimap to spot friendlies and ensure you stay close and play as a unit.

Check the minimap to spot enemies and anticipate them.

Both your squadmates and allied medics can revive you while downed.

Utilize the Plus menu to adjust your loadout on the fly.

Use the call-in system to order transport or combat vehicles when stranded.

Ziplines can be grabbed from mid-air when freefalling or parachuting.

The Engineer class specializes in dealing with vehicles.

Engineers are the only class equipped with 3 packs of C5.

You can enable Damage Numbers in the Options Menu > Display > HUD General to get a clear understanding of how much damage you've dealt to an enemy.
Weapons
For a brief moment, when starting to aim down sights, your weapon won't be as accurate. Hold your fire until the weapon is fully moved into position to maximize your accuracy.

Your weapon's accuracy drops during sustained fire. Shooting in short, controlled bursts will result in much higher accuracy.

Rate of fire influences how quickly your weapon loses accuracy during sustained fire - slower rate of fire being more accurate - so attachments that affect rate of fire also indirectly affect accuracy.

Tactical reloads - reloading while still having some ammo left in the magazine - are slightly faster.

Switching to pistol when out of ammo with primary is a quicker option than reloading

Your position will be briefly revealed on an enemy's minimap when you fire your weapon unless your weapon is equiped with a suppressor.

A Suppressor will greatly reduce the size of your weapon's muzzleflash, making it harder to detect where your shots are coming from.

Regular bullets can damage light air vehicles such as Nightbird, Stealth Helicopter and jets in short to medium range.

Armor-Piercing Ammunition will deal a small amount of damage even to heavily armored vehicles.

Subsonic Ammunition doesn't have tracers, making you harder to detect.

Shotgun pellets (Buckshot and Flechette ammo) deal reduced damage to enemies equipped with Body Armor, except in the limbs and head.

You can toggle weapon mounted laser sights and flashlights on and off if you need to hide your presense to enemies.

High Magnification Scopes will show a scope glint if you aim directly at someone, potentially revealing your position.

Thermal optics will not provide optimal visibility in warm environments.
Gadgets
Grenades, gadgets and rockets can be resupplied by ammo crates and supply drops.

Smoke Grenades can provide good concealment if you need to revive teammates in an exposed location.

Smoke Grenades work great at denying enemies long sight ranges and can hamper an assault.

Smoke Grenades will put out fires from Incendiary Grenades.

EMP and Hack triggers all systemic damage on vehicles opening a window of an opportunity to close in.

When affected by concussion grenade, you cannot aim down sights.

Concussion grenade effects can be customized in the settings.

AT grenades detonate on impact when thrown at a vehicle.

Spring grenades work best when dealing with enemy strongholds behind cover.

Throwing knives can be picked up after they are thrown.

Body armor does provide protection against headshots.

Anti-Tank weapons deal more damage to the rear of Armored Vehicles where armor is thinner.

You can use the display on the Recoilless M5 to accurately measure the distance to the point you're aiming at.

The SRAW missile takes quite some space to start up before it can be remote controlled, make sure your target is not too close!

The Javelin can attack any target including soldiers and airplanes, once it's designated with a Tracerdart.

Laser Designating a vehicle will allow the Javelin missile launcher to perform a critical top-down attack.

Designating a vehicle will mark it for your entire team.

Soflam can highlight multiple designated objects with its laser at the same time.

Certain rocket launchers, such as the Recoilless M5 or RPG-7V2, can lock onto designated targets.

AT missiles deal more damage to air vehicles when they are set as designated targets.

Stingers have unlimited lock on range on y-axis, gaining altitude against these locks are not helpful.

Most vehicles can be destroyed by placing two C5 on the back side.

Certain explosives, such as C5 or grenades, deal less damage to prone players.

You can shoot other players' explosives like C5 and Anti-Tank Mines to make them explode and deal damage to enemies.

AT Mines take a brief moment until they are armed, communicated by their light state.

Claymores are a good way to protect your flank when holding a position.

The EOD bot can arm and disarm objectives.

Some gadgets can light up in the configured team colors (EIDOS example).
Vehicles
Vehicles are valuable assets to your team, Don't let enemy team get a hold of them.

Staying on the move is the safest way to keep a vehicle alive.

Leaving combat to repair your vehicle can sometimes be the better option.

Vehicle gunners should watch angles that the driver cannot easily see.

Vehicle exit point is chosen based on direction and side you are looking at, you can use this to your advantage.

Overheating your weapons will lead to a longer cooldown time than usual.

Vehicle parts have their own health pool and will break if continuously damaged.

Attack helicopters are the best aerial option to destroy ground vehicles.

When an attack helicopter 30mm cannon is equipped with thermal, it has a lower range than the standard cannon.

You can lock your turret in turreted vehicles and move your camera freely without turning the turret.

Consider equipping HE shells when fighting infantry and light vehicles.

Main battle tanks staff shell can lock onto laser designated targets.

Active Protection System does not protect you against EMKV90-TOR cannons.

Vehicle commander seat is equipped with proximity scan, use it to spot nearby enemies when situation calls for it.

Using Air to Ground missiles on laser designated air vehicles will deal extra damage.

Incendiary launchers on vehicles and weapons alike are a good option for area denial.

Passengers in vehicles' open seats take less explosive damage from weapons.

Using a Repair Tool from the inside of a vehicle will repair at a slower rate than from the outside.

Using repair on vehicles with systemic damage will result to lower repair rate.

Use of system repair ability on vehicles will immediately remove systemic damage effects on vehicles.

System repair abilities work more efficiently in lighter vehicles such as transports, the EBLC-Ram, and the Draugr.

Bomb view crosshairs on certain vehicles will lose visibility when too high up.

The Bolte's front shield cannot be pierced by bullets.

Wildcat is equipped with air radar, range of the radar can be adjusted by changing air vehicle settings.

Wildcat anti air lock on missile has the shortest lock time against air vehicles.

MAV has the strongest front armor among vehicles, use it to push your objectives.

EMKV90-TOR and Stealth Helicopter passenger seats are equipped with EMP, use it against other vehicles before engaging.

EMKV90-TOR Cannons velocity decreases when weapon position is set on a high pitch.

TOR is equipped with a unique canister secondary weapon to allow for close range combat against infantry.

EBLC-Ram third passenger seat is equipped with both AT and AA missiles, use them both to maximize your utilities.

EBLC-Ram has a much lighter armor compared to main battle tanks, it's suited for aggressive hit and run play style.

The Cav-Brawler's unique materials allows it to take less damage from explosives such as C5 and Grenades.

If you are within the range of CAV Brawler close defense system, you can either run away or towards the vehicle to escape the blast.

Brawler open seats can be utilized by repairing and assisting the driver fighting off other threats.

Flying close to the ground (below 30m) will prevent enemy vehicles from aquiring missile lock.

A Gunships Vehicle cockpit is the weakest part of the vehicle.

Damaging a stealth helicopter enough will disengage its stealth mechanics.

Jets have limited afterburner, master timing and your situational awareness to use it efficiently.

Jets have a higher flying ceiling which can be utilized to fight other air vehicles.

The Draugr has a slower top speed than fighter jets.

Draugr's first person view is equipped with thermal optics.

The DRFM jammer will not protect the Draugr against missiles that are already fired.

Hack and EMPs have a more severe effect on Draugr drones.

The Draugr JDAM bomb takes a few seconds to arm and alert enemy protection systems. Use this window for sneak attacks.
Specialists
Wingsuit mobility allows for unexpected flanks that can turn the tide of battle.

Dozer takes the least amount of explosive damage thanks to his Blast Resistance trait.

Mackay's passive trait allows him to move faster when aiming down sights.

Zain's Airburst projectile detonates mid-air and is a great tool against enemies behind cover.

Zain's Perseverance trait allows him to recover health faster than other Specialists after taking out an enemy.

Boris' sentry gun automatically spots and engages enemy targets detected within a certain range.

Lis is equipped with a special missile launcher which overrides any other launcher that can be uquipped.

If you hear a loud screeching rocket noise, there's a TV missile on it's way towards you!

You can shoot down Lis' TV missile with any weapon.

Lis' trait highlights damaged vehicles in her vicinity.

Crawford's Deep Pockets trait allow him to carry the most rockets of any Specialist.

Irish replenishes his gadget ammo when reviving squadmates.

The EMP Grenade is ignored by Irish's Shootdown Sentinel and works great as a counter to it.

Irish's EIDOS does not protect against anti vehicle rockets.

Falck's Syrette pistol allows her to heal teammates with a ranged projectile.

Falck will revive downed teammates with full health.

Angel's crate is a good option for swapping loadouts or resupplying on the go.

Rao's cyberwarfare suite can disrupt enemy vehicles' mobility for a short period of time.

Damaging enemies as Paik marks them for both herself and her teammates.

Blasco cannot be spotted by motion-based gadgets.
AI behavior
AI will attempt to give you supplies when requesting Health/Ammo via Commo Rose.

AI Support class will revive downed players if they are not in combat.

Downed AI will not bleed out as quickly when pinged for revive.

AI in any ground vehicle will drive near you or stop and beep when requesting a ride via Commo Rose.

AI teammates always try to enter as gunners or passengers in vehicles driven by players.

You can always take over a vehicle seat from AI on your team.
Button promts
Open the large map M to see how your team is doing at other flags, in case you have to support them.

Double-tap L SHIFT to activate traversal sprint.

Press B to call in vehicles anywhere on the map with your military call-in tablet.

On certain weapon scopes you can press F to switch to a canted sight or change the scope's magnification.

If you equip an underbarrel grenade launcher or shotgun to your weapon, you can press X to swap to it.

Most enemy grenades can be thrown back. Press E on them before they explode.

While playing as Irish, press 3 again to cycle between his Deployable Cover and Shootdown Sentinel.

While not recommended in combat by tacticians around the world, pressing B while in some vehicles will turn on the radio.
