Startup Fix (very epik)

I got the game on discount and was very exited to play it just to realize the game wont launch no matter what I did, but I did figure out a way to fix it so I thought I might as well make it into a guide since I couldn’t find a clear solution online.

I found the first 3 steps online but did figure out the 4th step by myself (probably not the first to find it though)

Ps. For anyone in the future if the link ever dies, its the "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4" from Microsoft.

The Guide Part

Step 1: Right Click on Watch_Dogs 2 -> Select Properties




Step 2: Installed Files -> Browse




Step 3: On the new window open bin -> Delete the file "DbgHelp.dll"




Step 4: Visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679# -> Click on Download



Step 5: Click the box on "'VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe" -> Click on Download.



Step 6: Install the downloaded file.




Step 7: Start the Game. :)

I wish this worked for me, I already had it installed, so I clicked "Repair", tried to start the game, nothing, Steam says the game is running but it's not..
