Like I said. Absolute nerd ramble of lil old me who just got Fallout 4 after years
And apologies if I didn’t get the whole picture for the Mechanist. Still, cool to see the model being used here.
There’s even a small quest mod that has Mechanist Omega, with a new boss and power armor. Very short and the voice acting being a bit subpar at best, but overall it was nice.
the cloth/leather parts are as shiny and reflective as the metallic parts, causing the model to look bright ESPECIALLY with the lightwarp (which I removed from the VMT files).
The only issue is that I *think* I'll need to redo quite a bit of parts, being to divide the texture files to give them different settings and to divide the mechanist model into multiple bodygroups.
Thankfully, the guide should continue to work..
And I do love Automatron a lot, but I personally dislike how utterly BROKEN the robots are. Especially the Sentry head armors. The Plus, Reaper, Carnage, and Butcher helms with two miniguns/gatling lasers just lets your robot solo most enemies in the game.
But I'm just rambling like a nerd lmao
I also really like mysterious aura of the Mechanist (and just the idea for them as a whole) before you find who they are, and the Silver Shroud special interactions are really nice.
not any that weren't a threat atleast
