How to do it

My recommend character is the explorer with stick.
Since the explorer have stat more tree spawn.
But he spawn with lumberjack shirt that have ability to destroy tree in 1 hit that mean you should avoid all item and weapon that granted projectiles.
For weapon you can use any melee weapons because long range weapon may unintentionally target trees.

Try to gather item that grant you luck or bonus tree items and try not to go near trees as much as you can. If you keep do it you might finish in wave 5 or 6.

If you are lucky enough, you can finish it in the second wave.

Most people got this by round 2, if you can't beat round 2 of brotato with a stick then you must really suck, and even if you get the achievement just play after round 2 as the first 4 rounds aren't really essential. posting from my wifes acc bc im buying it on her pc to play with mods. I have every build complete on d5 crash site and abyss, and still have not unlocked criptid. I only play d5 and never even thought to just get the trees round 3-4 lmaoooo

If you do not want to lose the game, you should probably not avoid killing the trees for many rounds, as they give precious ressources. I would advise waiting for a few rounds while killing the trees, and then avoid them for just one round.
