Introduction
This will explain how to do many actions to help you better your gameplay.

Use the search function to find what you want.

If you have not read it , you may want to also read STB's Basics PDF[www.matrixgames.com]

Make sure to ask any questions you might have.
Change keybinds ?
In the main menu , go to the keybind options and change your keybinds. Be mindful some keys can be used by several abilities in game.

Queue orders ?
You can queue any order by using shift. Simply do any order while holding shift to make a queue.
Turn on the afterburner ?
Use the little afterburner button on your aircraft. This will make you faster but will cost a lot of fuel.

Airdrop ?
Spawn in your plane at your spawn then once spawned, press O, then drag and drop a LZ at your destination.
The more troops in your plane , the longer your LZ has to be so don't hesitate to drag it for a larger distance.

Be mindful of enemy planes and AA , don't fill an entire plane to just get shot down before your drop.
Repair/Replenish ground units ?
Buy supplies with a truck through the support tab or a transport helicopter through the helicopter tab.
Once spawned , drive to your destination and press U twice to unload at that position. Put your units in the circle to repair and replenish them. Note that this works with helicopters too.

Repair airplanes ?
Simply press B and they will return to base on their own.
They will be unavailable for some time depending on how much fuel, ammo and health they have once returned to base.
After they are refitted you can use them again.

Use the Laser designator ?

Press N on a spot or unit with a laser capable unit like the snipers. They can lase moving targets too.

Use PRSM/ATACMS/Precision bombs ?
Use P to use precision munitions.
You can press P and click on the chosen spot as many times as you have ammo.
Works with bombs , cruise missiles and precision guided munitions for the HIMARS and M270.

Regular HIMARS uses T to fire like every other artillery unit.
Drop unguided bombs ?
Use the bombing run option and drag and drop a bombing zone. Your aircraft will drop all its available bombs there.

Be mindful of the bomb type!
Low drag bombs have to be dropped from high altitude (in purple). High drag bombs have to be dropped from low altitude (in red).

Change your altitude with V.

Use SEAD ?

SEAD is activated automatically once you get into range of an AA piece with its radar turned on. It will target and hit it if those requirements are met.

Use laser guided munitions ?
Use a laser designator on an enemy unit using N. Once the green line appears , use your artillery and press T.
This will show you the fire mission pannel on the bottom right. Select the guided munitions and click the enemy you wish to hit.

The guided munitions will automatically go towards the laser on their own.

Return to base
Simply press B , your unit will come back to base on its own taking the shortest path possible.
Intercept ballistic missiles
Buy any AA unit with this icon.

Once bought , put it about 2km away from the battlefield in an area you know you protect.
Ideally turn on your radar and let the AA do its work.

You can intercept missiles without the radar but be aware it will be far less effective.
Intercept SEAD ?
Some units can intercept SEAD missiles. The 2S38 is capable of such thing for example. Look for units capable of shooting down missiles and try it out.

Use radar AA ?

Click on the radar button. Your radar will take a short time to activate then you will get this little green icon.

Once on , you benefit of a range increase against all airborne targets. Be mindful that you are now susceptible of getting hit SEAD missiles.
Be also mindful that some units can use the Radar without being immobile. Use those on the frontlines directly.
Use CAS plane's weapons (ATGM/Rockets) ?
Use the strafe run option and drag and drop a line to select where to hit.

Be mindful that rockets will hit the area you selected first.
You require line of sight for ATGM on planes so make sure your enemy isn't hidden by buildings or smoke.

There is a potential bug where low flying aircraft will fire their payload , try it out and see if it works for you.
Call empty transports ?
Select an empty transport of your choice through the transport tab. You can mix and match with infantry at your spawn if you'd like.

Use the fire mission panel ?
The fire mission panel can be used by every artillery unit.
To activate it press T to open it up.

The first options are the rounds used , in order :
Explosives

Smoke

Guided rounds

The next options are the duration

Short (very few rounds/roughly 1/3 of a MLRS salvo)

Medium (moderate amount of rounds/Half of a MLRS salvo)

Long (large amount of rounds/Full MLRS salvo)

Finally the actual fire mission

Point which hits in the designated circle

Line which lets you set a line to fire upon. Drag and drop to draw a single line. Shells will land in the general drawn line.

Creeping which will hit several points one after the other. Drag and drop 2 lines.

Understand crits/morale ?
The crit system happens at random when you take damage.
Different crits give different maluses.
To remove them , you have to repair your vehicle.

Optics

This affects your optics and therefor your vision.

Gunner

Your vehicle will take longer to aim its gun

Loader

Your vehicle will take longer to reload

Tracks

Your vehicle will lose mobility. In the case of a red crit , you will instantly lose the ability to move.

Morale is a system that affects every stat.
It goes away once your unit has been out of combat for a bit.

There is 2 morale penalties.

Worried

Your unit will be slower , take longer to aim and do less damage.

Panicked

Your unit is virtually useless as it loses nearly all its speed , damage and aim time, retreat it as soon as possible.
Use APS ?
APS is activated automatically after a projectile attempts to hit you.

Note that this does not work for planeborne ATGM missiles

Theres a guide on how to make decks. However most of my guides are outdated due to them being for the previous beta
Uncle Bad-Touch Nov 15, 2024 @ 10:14am
This was stupid helpful to know, though I suggest adding a bit about how to create custom decks. I see a lot of people not understanding how that works, or how to select a specific nation before clicking random match.

I'd make a guide for that meself but seeing how this guide is really well fleshed out that small addition would really help new players.
