Sewer XP farm
When you enter the sewers after starting a new save, you can grind some xp on many stats easy, including but not limited to:
  • Block
  • Acrobatics
  • Restoration
  • Light Armor
  • Heavy Armor
  • Athletics
  • Sneak

The idea is simple. Start as a breton. Kill all the rats except for one and let it attack you endlessly while using a healing spell(restoration, armor).

If you start getting low on magicka, either run away(athletics, acrobatics) until it recharges, or use a shield to block(block). You can find a shield and pieces of light and heavy armor throughout the sewer level.

Eventually your shield will break but using a sword to block will accomplish the same goal. You can still gain XP on armor when its broken.

If you get bored of the rat, move onto the goblin(s).

Rats in tutorial don't give disease, but grinding skills in tutorial mess up stats when leveling.

I don't recommend doing it this way, unless you at least want to get a skill you aren't selecting as one of your starting skills to 25.

The levelling system in Oblivion works against you later and enemies get a lot tougher to deal with, so you need to progress in an effective way and get decent stuff/spells to fight the tougher enemies

(Conjuration helps a lot)

It's much better to grind a mob that can't give you a disease lol summoning a skeleton and making it aggro you is a much better method. And you can train sneak easily literally anywhere

i think it makes it harder tbh cause you dont have any of the good gear needed to kill the higher level enemies
