Welcome to Deathmatch Unlimited.
Deathmatch Unlimited is a Highly Customizable Arena Shooter Gamemode for Garry's Mod.

Features
  • 26 built-in game modes (TDM, FFA, Instagib, Gun Game, CTF, Oddball, King of the Hill, Zombie VIP and more!)

  • Support for custom game modes (see basic rundown on github)

  • Deadly arsenal of 14 unique weapons (can be replaced with any weapons)

  • Includes 3 maps (dmu_flatsky, dmu_aperture_alpha, dmu_aperture_beta)

  • Works with most Half-Life 2: Deathmatch and TTT maps out of the box

  • Playlists and map voting system (organize game modes with maps that are compatible with them)

  • QC style medals

  • Entities for MMM

Bots are available as a separate download.[github.com] They can't replace real players, but it's a lot better than playing on an empty server
(also they're actually capable enough to play game modes like KotH properly!)



Chat commands
'!endmatch' - Initiate a vote to end the match early
'!endround' - Initiate a vote to end the round early
'!config' - Open config menu
(only show up if you have bots installed)
'!botskill [0-3]' - Initiate a vote to change bots' skill level
'!botquota [0-7]' - Initiate a vote to change bot quota

Console commands
Server:
'dmu_server_score_limit' - Default score limit. Can be overriden by game modes.
'dmu_server_weapons_starter/common/uncommon/rare/very_rare' - Default weapons. Can be overriden by game modes.
'dmu_server_weapon_respawn_time' - Self explanatory
'dmu_server_pickup_respawn_time' - Self explanatory
'dmu_server_replace_weapons/items [0-1]' - If enabled, will replace entities on maps with DMU entities
'dmu_server_disable_context_menu [0-1]' - Completely disables c-menu (you can't use properties even if c-menu is enabled)

Client:
'dmu_client_disable_victory_music [0-1]' - disables victory/defeat music
'dmu_client_medals_enabled [0-1]' - disables/enables medals

Well, It is happening in all game modes (Like TDM) on my end and not just Gun Game

I am having a issue now when before it wasn't happening: When I am playing on maps that spawn HL2 Weapon Pickups on maps (Like HL2/HLS:DM maps) and I have 'Replace Weapons' on, it just removes the weapon pickups outright instead of replacing them.

I hope I am not the only one with this problem.

Fair enough. Then how about a variant version of this that has that feature? Or an addon with the feature that requires this as a base?

@Kenoxn it could be added, but it's out of the scope of this addon. It's intentionally bare bones so you can easily customize it to your own like with other addons

Could you be able to bring loadouts for every player to choose from? With each loadout having it's own custom SWEPs and custom player model.

So for instance we'd have a Doom Slayer player, then a Master Chief player, and then a Gordon Freeman player. Not sure if we'd be able to use custom HUDs for each of them too.

It'd be like a Smash Bros but for popular FPS characters.
