How do the soldet work?
Fuses

The mini soldet have 4 activation fuses, 2 in the hands, the central fuse and the head fuse.

Head fuse: the head fuse is connected to the helmet with a fixed wire. This way, when the soldet get a headshot their helmet is disconnected from the head.

Central fuse: this fuse holds the soldat together. With fixed wire, it is connected to the head, legs and some decoration like backpacks or bags in the central body. It is also connected with activation wire to the fuses in the hands, so the hands can move but when the soldet dies the fuses activate and it drops the gun.
(Theres a bug where it doesnt drop the gun but i cant do anything about it.)

Some other things

Heres an explanation on what every important part does:

If the soldat has melee and you need to put phase links heres an image with the parts with collisions:

And here an image with the rest of the wires:

Making your soldat.
Things you will need for this

-Anything invisible mod (To hide the gun)
-Hold k to make wires invisible (For connecting things and hiding the wires.)
-Mini soldat template(This includes a less detailed tutorial and a template. you will need the template.)

(template)

Decorating the soldat!

The decoration should be connected to the resizable housing part of the body. Not the wood part.
If you want some decoration to detach when the soldet dies, connect it to a fuse. If the decoration is in the head (example: helmet, glasses) connect it to the head fuse. If in the body (example: backpack) connect it to the central fuse.
Try not adding too many extra layers to not cause problems with the guns!

Heres an example of a soldet i made with these steps. it has a detachable helmet and backpack

Weapons

Pick a weapon and make it invisible using the context menu from the anything invisible mod .Then, start building your gun with resizable housings (or any other item you want to make your gun with) and then connect it with fixed wire to the invisible gun. remember to "toggle invisibility in detail view" so the base gun is always invisible.

If the gun is a rifle, revolver, deagle or any other big gun, show a part of the original barrel.
If its a pistol, dont show the original barrel but connect a big part of the fake gun with an activation wire to the original gun, to hide an animation that pistols have.

Then, connect the invisible/original/hidden gun to the fuses in the hand of your soldier.

If its a (blunt) melee weapon and not a gun, you could hide a rod, brick or something hard and heavy with the invisible things. Then, build the actual weapon with resizable housings or any material you want and then connect to the base item.

If you make the weapon too heavy the soldat will fall.

With a knife or sword its almost the same thing. Hide the weapon, build somethinig, connect to the base item.

Both of these should have phase links between the parts with collision in the soldat body and the base weapon.

And thats all the technicall things with making your soldat i think.

Faction

Try making your own soldet faction. I made the Lobster and Crab faction, you can make your own faction fight agains other factions in different maps, and in the future im adding Map-making things like props and prefabs.
