Xabi Alonso has masterminded one of the most incredible sides we have seen in a long time in the Bundesliga. He has created a team that is sitting top of the table and is still undefeated in the league, cup, and continental competitions this year. Something that we have never seen before and is just insane to think about.

He does this through a mix of various ideas he has learned from all the greats he has trained under and learned from and thus has created such an interesting style of play that is truly his own yet has elements of so many in it.

The team will set up in 1 formation but will constantly adjust when moving around the pitch and will change its shape to best suit that area of the pitch and dominate possession. They will move the ball around with speed and then find the player open in akers of space to attack into and then score tap-ins at the back post and when that doesn't work they will beat you on set pieces. This team is truly something to be held and I have done my best to recreate it in FM.
