Introduction
Every build will contain an image listing the perks for each build.
Perks are split into 3 categories:
  • Core: The crux of the build. Take every time if you can, within the first 3 perks.
  • Really Nice: The ideal perks to finish the build.
  • Nice: Perks you take for preference, or if you have to (no rerolls). Unideal, but can work.

Whenever I talk about a perk, I am also including all it's upgrades. For the most part you should be grabbing all the perk's upgrades with only very specific fringe cases.
Guardian

Stim Bubble Guardian

Easily Guardian's strongest build
Stim Bubble and Tactical Slap are an amazing combo, with Tactical Slap regenerating shield to allow you to use Stim Bubble more often, and the reload upgrade combined with Stim Bubble's infinite ammo upgrade allows you to rotate the two to never stop shooting. Not to mention the two allow easy access to Guardian's largest damage bonuses, Line Breaker and Top Quality. Meteo Bubble is also a very strong alternative to Stim.

Boring Guardian

You shoot things til they die
Top Quality pairs nicely with Meteo Nade, giving you full uptime on the bonuses for most weapons. From there, you just grab other good gun perks like Meteo Weapon or Improved Crit with their extra auto-crit upgrades and you're doing good damage nice and simple.

Melee Guardian

Up close and personal
Beat up enemies in the close range with consistent damage and enough tankiness to get by between shield recharges. Very reliable with any of the melee weapons.
Commando

Explosive Commando

Point and Click and blow everything up
Commando has a wide variety of amazing perks for maximizing damage, especially with explosive weapons. Any combination of the perks in "Really Nice" will work, but do note that Top Quality is best paired with Hot Potato, and Self Control best paired with Mini-Missiles or Chromatic Powder.

Chromatic Commando

Spray and Pray and blow everything up
Chromatic Powder and Mini-Missiles combine to make an extremely lethal elemental damage build, that only gets better with more perks. Has especially good synergy with Self Control, whose fury stack increases synergize great with both perks, but is not vital.
Ranger

Rush Ranger

Sniping's for losers
Wild Rush and Bestial Ferocity make for a deadly duo, giving Ranger a bunch of bonuses perfect for running and gunning, especially with dual weapons due to the movement speed. Grab whatever close to midrange weapon you like and break the sniper mold.

Explosive Ranger

Silenced rocket launcher
Explosive spike is an incredibly fun and effective room clearing option, and combining its auto crit upgrade with that of Wild Rush's makes a strong foundation for an explosive auto-crit build with ranger that blitzes rooms while not slouching on single target.

Summon Ranger

My best Engi impression
Nasty Mirage and Hunter's Mark give Ranger a surprisingly competent summon build that utilizes mark and elemental damage. Especially strong with Chromatic Surprise, as it can directly boost your summon's damage, but you can opt for getting auto-crit for your summons with Wild Rush and Supreme Crit. Maximizing cooldown for spamming as many Mirages is great, but you can also just fill in the gaps with a summon weapon.
Recon

Gun Recon

Run and Gun
Use your dagger to proc bonuses like Happy Slice to give your guns incredible dps. Favorite Weapon is great for reducing the amount of melee you have to use, and combined with Sharp Wave, lets you stay ranged 100%, at the cost of potential damage.

Melee Recon

Hack and Slash (in moderation)
All the best bonuses for melee DPS bundled with enough for your guns to fill in the gaps. For your extras, Elemental Dash lets you infuse Shock onto your dagger which makes melee'ing bosses leagues safer. Depending on how good your movement / pattern recognition is, you can melee more often, but it's good to only melee when you think it's safe and use guns the rest of the time.

Trueshot Recon

The ol' Stab and Shoot
Use a burst damage weapon like the Flak Cannon and shoot down enemies between dagger kills to keep your trueshot charges filled. Against bosses, you can alternate shots with dagger strikes to loop charges as well as accelerating your blink CD with Close Combat.
Engineer

Gun Engi

Comes in every color!
Chromatic Weapon and Scrap Pancakes make up Engi's best combo for boosting your gun damage, allowing you to benefit off whatever element bonuses you want. Chromatic Mastery can be an incredibly valuable pickup, as well as Chromatic Buddies + Scrap Scrap snacks for a great addition of support fire.

Summon Engi

The Obvious Choice
Scrap Snacks and Chromatic Buddies combine to give your summons an insane damage bonus. Pretty simple, just get some summon weapons and shred rooms while you sit relatively comfy.
Giving your summon weapons alt-fire affixes (Loaded or Turbo) and the alt-fire perfume is a great boon.
Elementalist

Gun Elementalist

Best with "Infinite Ammo" by Le CastleVania
Infused Weapon's upgrade, Battle Mantra, combined with Dynamic Mantra give Elementalist true infinite ammo for most weapons.
However, do NOT take the upgrade that extends the duration of a single element, as it ruins the interaction.

Explosive Elementalist

Really not Casting Spells
All the best perks together to cause countless colorful explosions. Infused Weapon and Dynamic Mantra are a familiar duo from the last build, which is why they are listed uniquely as a "Package Deal," since you can combine both this build and the last build for good effect. If you can get an explosive, elemental weapon, then this is one of the best builds you can get on this character.

Caster Elementalist

We Love Casting Spells
Spam constant spells as the game intended. Can be a little tough getting ramped up, but as long as you can get a good damage perk early, you will be fine. Elemental Resonance is best paired with Power Infusion to get the most out of it's effect.

Superbot
PREFACE: Superbot is mostly meant to be a challenge character (with one exception). Just because you use a strong build it doesn't mean it will be easy, especially before you get your third perk. Using Willy Wonder (Slug npc) to upgrade your blaster is vital to Superbot, as well as rerolling the affixes to match your build.

Crit bot

My best Ranger Impression
If you've played Crit Ranger at all this build should be very familiar, except you don't get to use a burst weapon. Rolling Burn onto your blaster is great, and if you use Super Chromatic Blaster, you can dual element into Cryo to utilize great Cryo items like Yoyo and Ice Cube or Shock for Artishock and Sponge.

Stealth Melee bot

Nostalgic
Super Backup's stealth is incredibly strong, letting you safely melee enemies during the duration, and combined with the cooldown reduction from Close Combat's upgrade Phase Shift, you can clear entire rooms almost permanently invisible. This leans into Chromatic Gear, which especially with Pyro Gear adds significant damage in the form of Burn on your melee, an AoE burn, as well as even giving the Super Backup summons burn too.

OK! I understood your intention. And I have assurance that Ranger crit build is good.
Thanks for reply.

Thanks!
Actually, Ranger crit builds are extremely powerful. I didn't include one because I feel that crit Ranger builds are pretty self explanatory and I wanted to highlight some playstyles that a newer player might not pick up on. If you want my personal favorite crit build though, it would be Simple Geometry, a marking perk like Sonar Spike or Hunters Mark, and then Trueshot.

Thanks for good guide.
By the way, there is not Ranger's sharpshooting build. Why? It is weak?
I love shooting weak spot!

Hi man, thanks for your guide, it has helped us a lot. The problem is that a few days ago the Stim Bubble Guardian image disappeared, could you check it? Thanks!

For ez S rank Guardian 4, use a Pyro Summoner Engineer Build.

Weapon is Bee Cannon primarily with the Lucky (20% Crit chance) and Burn affixes.

Perks (in order of importance): Scrap snacks, Chromatic Buddies, Chromatic Mastery and Targetting Protocol

Items (the essentials): Poppy, Miss B, Balloon, Candle, Stone Block,
Hourglass, Transformers Toy, Kazoo,
Bowl, Onion, Heart Necklace)

I used a build similar to this to S rank G4 in under 24 minutes, shit’s busted
