HOW TO WIN WORLD TOUR MATCHES EEZ

This guide is made to help you WIN GAMES in the "World-Tour-Mode" in The Finals. It`s made for all players and doesn`t depend on your playstyle or class that you choose to play.

What this is about

This guide is NOT about teaching you how to play your classes, weapons or whatever. I hope you will find another good guide for these topics.

I play a lot of games in solo-queue in ranked mode and see people doing - lets say - "weird" stuff. Even though they have good or even great aim, people often fail to proceed to higher levels of the tournaments cause they just completely ignore the game mechanics and goals of the game.

Sometimes it gets sure hectic out there. People shooting at you, teammates to watch out for, points of the teams on the score, maybe respawn timers of teammates, "P-o-i-s" - there is a big list of things you gotta keep an eye on.

I hope the guide can help you to understand the decisions that you have to make ingame, besides from fighting the other teams :)

Generals

Goal of the game and key to winning games is not killing other players, the goal is to receive cash boxes and bring them to a cashout-station. Then defend the station until the timer runs out.

The other option is to attack a team, while they are trying to "cashout" and are waiting for their timer to run down.

It`s a team game and important to act as a team! This is the most important rule overall.
You should try to check some stuff whenever you have a second or two to spare and get an overview of the match you are playing.


Things to watch out for are:

- Your suroundings aka the world and if there are any players of other teams around you.
Watch and in addition LISTEN to the game. You hear footsteps? Someone is close to you! - is it a
team member? If no -> caution ;)

- Your teammates. Where are they, are they fighting and need assistance? Its a teamgame and i
often see good players fail, cause they act like in a one-person shooter. Your team is three people
and without your teammates, you are weak weak weak against another team of two or three.

- Ranking of the teams and points of the teams already earned (top left corner)
The teams in position 3 and 4 have to act. When you are first on the scoreboard, chill! Try to spot
the best option and go for it. When you are first in the last minute, you could even hide if there is
only one team is still cashing out, cause all other teams will have to fight for the last cashout or
they won`t be qualified for next round ;)

- Your team-mates! What are they doing? Stick together! Most important rule again

- Are other teams carrying cashboxes? If yes, where are they going to? Try to avoid three team
fights.
They bring an amount of chaos to the fight which you will want to avoid...one light player of a third
fraction is able to change a won team fight into a lost one if he encounters in a bad situation...

- Your team-mates! What are they doing? Stick together! XD


Team wiping will cost you cash :)

If you are 1 vs 3, two team-mates are already died during your attack, what do you do?
Kill them all alone? Continue the attack? NO!
Withdraw and rez your mates. If not possible, try to survive till they respawn and try again...
They killed two of your team already, dont be dumb and attack alone, revive if possible or retreat from fight if not and reunite your team. You wont wipe that team alone, you will just die too and be useless for your score.

Catching cashout boxes

When you run for a box. Stick with your team.

This is key to all things in Finals, Its a team game (yes again).

If getting close to a box, see where your mates are? They close? Ok, try to tap the box (Important to stack those extra 1000$) for your team. Soemtimes it gets close^^

If you hear gun shooting or footsteps (which are not from your mates) when coming close to a box - there are ppl aka enemy team there!

Dont run in alone. If you charge in alone and you die, your team would have to fight 2 vs 3 to get the box.

If two other teams are shooting each other, high caution is to be set!

Wait and shoot in from safe spots or go to the other vault.

Charging into a gunfight where you are not participating until now, is always high risk and should be avoided! Three teams always bring that amount of chaos we dont want. Even if you kill another team its not good enough. Another team is already waiting and in position to kill you right away and make you loose those 30% of your already earned cash!

Cashing cashout boxes in (bringing them to a cashout station)

Watch the map.

Bring the box to the closest vault if the other team is not going there.

If you carry a box, make sure you are not running to the same vault as another team.

Stick together when you cash in and while you defend.

Stay close enough to your cashout that you can take action if somebody tries to steal it and you will be there within seconds so you can kill the stealer(s).
It doesn`t mean you have to stand in the cashout room. A good tactic for example is too create a hole in the roof above the cashout box and shoot attackers trying to take the cashout from up there as soon as they come close to the cashout station.


Except you feel confident to wipe the other team, plus two other teams that will of course come for you. There is only one objective on the map. Avoid double cashing in at all costs since the pressure and chaos that happens in fights with more than 2 teams is not to be calculated. We will avoid this cause we want to win the match and proceed to next round. If you want to go for frags, play unranked modes please.

Defending boxes

Normally another team will come. You would be surprised though, how often no other team comes for you^^

So stay together. Dont die before the enemies are even close to your vault.

If you die 50 meters away from the vault, you will make it hard for your team! They then have to defend 2 vs 3 for 30 seconds until you respawn.

It`s better to defend will 3 ppl at spots close to each other. This way you can help, shield, heal, revive your buddies and even shoot at the same enemy your teammates are shooting at - trust me, it`s totally op ;-)

Attacking other teams cashing out

The other team is waiting.

They will have stuff prepared and they have a plan to defend.

Dont rush in alone. If you die first your two team-mates would have to fight 2 vs 3. You weaken your team and making it hard for your teammates.

Stick together. Sometimes its better to run a tactic you would normally dont run, but its better to run a strategy with 3 people, than 2 doing their thing and the third is somewhere else. You split your team up and limit your chances for a victory enormously.

Only if you see, your mates are rushing in, dying almost instantly, respawn and repeat, don`t follow more than maybe three or four times! (see bottom * for more)

Options are trying to get shots from outside on defenders and try to down one or two from distance, then rush the remaining person with your team. You are 3 vs 2 or 3 vs 1 then and you should be good to wipe the rest. Dont wait for them to respawn or get revived by their mates once you killed one or two.

You can also create holes in the roof above the cashout station to shoot defenders from above. Or create holes via grenades, c4 or mines below the cashout station, to make it drop one floor down and make palced turrets and mines maybe useless. Often people fall down with the station and it`s easy for your team to kill them instantly.

While engaging and trying to steal the box, interact with your mates with your team skills. Healer heal, heavies shield and guard, lights do....whatever lights do in ranked mode...still not sure why people think, they should bring lights to ranked matches. They absolutely lack teamsupport and are by far the weakest class for ranked mode, especially when you solo queue! So much fun lights are to play, in ranked mode it`s better to focus on medium or heavy.


* If 4 teams are fighting for one cashout station, including your two teammates, it`s always an option to get the second box, get it to a cashout station alone and defend it there vs no one, while the other 11 people in the match are fighting for one station. Often seen this, done this, not lying...

Sometimes your team-mates will join you after they wiped for the fourth or fifth time and you will defend together^^

Exceptions and tipps

Sometimes you are in a hurry or for example you are third on the scoreboard, only few time left and you have to try to steal anyways to proceed to next round, cause the match will be over within seconds. Then at least try!
If there are fewer than 10 seconds on the clock all tactics are useless. Just rush the enemy vault kill everything on your way or even leave them to your teammates if you run in first and try to steal the cashout in the last seconds.
It`s the only way to the next round. If you die, IT DOESN`T MATTER cause the match is over anyways! Don`t stand there and hide while the clock runs down, don`t chase any enemies in the last seconds. Try to get that money! Thats goal of this game!

Also, when the game timer hits 0.00, the last reamining cashout box will dissapear and wont be available in overtime. Useless you finally get the remaining cashout box in the last seconds of the normal game time and then realize the only place to bring it, is the cashout station where everyone will be fighting in overtime.

This makes only sense if your last option is a double cashout at the last station because the other teams are more than 40k $ o nthe scoreboard ahead of you.

Skill. Sometimes people have just awesome aiming skills. If you belong to this group, do`t be afraid to ignore this guide in many situations.
Those guys run in and wipe whole teams alone as if it was nothing. Feel confident to kill them all and make your way to diamond <3 Althoug even if you are such a good player with a dozen kills in every match, it is smart to stick with your team in case this one shotgunner is around the corner in a bad moment ;)
