Gameplay Questions

☑️ How do I save the game?

The manual option to 'save game' does not exist.
The game saves automatically after you end the day (go to sleep).

☑️ How do you slice the Ribeye Chunk?

Items you'll need:

• Ribeye Chunk (from Butcher Shop)
  
• Cutting Station (from Warehouse > Stations)

Take the Ribeye Chunk.
Place it on the Cutting Board.
Take a Knife out of the Knife Rack (it comes with the Cutting Board).
Click-hold with the Knife on the Ribeye Chunk until the loading circle finishes.
Now you have two slices of Ribeye.

☑️ Where is the Warehouse?

No need to walk anywhere.
You reach it online through your in-game tablet - press Tab on your keyboard.
Warehouse is the first orange icon in the upper left corner.

☑️ How to navigate to Floors Section?

Press Tab on your keyboard.
Click Warehouse icon.
Click Surfaces.
There are two icons in the upper middle section of the tablet. Click the second one.
You have reached the Floors Section.

☑️ How does the Meat Grinder work?

First, attach a Mixing Bowl (from the Market) to the Meat Grinder.
Then put a Ribeye Slice into the Meat Grinder.
You should see an animation of the minced meat going into the Mixing Bowl.
Now you can continue with the recipe by adding spices/ingredients directly into the Mixing Bowl.

Keep in mind that this does not work with Ribeye as a chunk. Place Ribeye on the Cutting Board and use a Knife to obtain 2x Ribeye Slices. Only these can be used in the Meat Grinder.

☑️ Where do I find sticks for the kebab?

The sticks appear automatically.
After grilling both sides, look at the handle of the skewer and press F to detach the kebab from the skewer. You will obtain a kebab on a stick that can be served on a plate.

☑️ How do I pour liquids OUT of the Cookpot?

While holding the cookpot filled with a liquid, press and hold the rotate button (R) on your keyboard and move your mouse to flip the cookpot sideways or upside down.

This way you can:

• remove all liquids (e.g. discard water or a badly made soup)
  
• remove only a certain amount of liquids (e.g. if you poured in too much water for the recipe)
  
• pour out soup into a bowl for serving customers, though this does not require the R button, only left-click on the bowl and rotate your mouse to imitate pouring

☑️ How do I boil something?

Items you'll need:

• Karlbys Sink
  (should be there automatically after the Tutorial, otherwise go to Warehouse > Furnitures > Second Icon in the upper middle section > Karlbys Sink)
  
• Single Stove
  (buy from Warehouse > Stations > Third Icon (Fireplace) in the upper middle section > Single Stove)
  
• Cookpot (buy from Market)

Place Single Stove on a counter.
Take Cookpot.
Click-hold over the sink until the desired amount of water is in the Cookpot.
Place Cookpot with Water on the Single Stove. Add other required ingredients to the Cookpot.
Turn on the Single Stove by clicking the handle in the front middle of the stove.
Wait for the liquids to boil.
The liquids are boiled when the flame icon appears. Turn off the Single Stove.

☑️ How do you use a Stand Mixer?

First, attach a Mixing Bowl (from the Market) to the Stand Mixer.
Then put all required ingredients into the Mixing Bowl.

There is a button on the right side of the Mixing Bowl. Left-click on it.
The Stand Mixer will start mixing. Left-click on the same button again for it to stop mixing.

Now you have a bowl of mixed ingredients.
By pressing E on the bowl, a radial menu will appear where you can choose/change the product to the one you wish to create with the mixed ingredients.
By pressing and holding F on the bowl, you will create the chosen product.

☑️ How do I add 0.1L Milk?

You cannot measure Milk, Butter, Chicken Broth, Bread Crumbs, etc. Add the full item when making the recipe.

☑️ How do I add Parsley?

Look at it and press F on your keyboard.
Now you have a piece of Parsley that you can use when making recipes.

💡 Tip: One Parsley contains 6x Parsley Pieces.

☑️ What do I do to get electricity?

Electricity is something that's always there.

Appliances (e.g. stove, freezer, etc.) all work and do not need to be plugged in anywhere.

Some appliances (e.g. stove, electrical grill, electrical furnace and others) have a switch to turn them on, e.g. in order to turn on the heat in the oven, or for the stand mixer to start mixing ingredients.

Furthermore, when it comes to electricity keep in mind that turning on the light switch will not turn on the light if you have no lamps.

☑️ How to serve more than one dish?

There are two things of importance: Service Counters and Menu.

One Service Counter enables you to serve one dish.
To be able to serve another dish, you need a second Service Counter.
You can buy one from the Warehouse (Tab > Warehouse > Stations > Second Icon (Cupcake/Cake) in the upper middle section > Starter Service Counter).

Keep in mind that the Service Counter can only accept a dish that is on the Menu.
To serve more than one dish, place them on the menu by dragging their recipe cards to the left.

☑️ How to add more than 10 meals to the menu?

It is not possible to increase the size of the menu.
Currently the maximum size is serving 3 dishes.
Currently the maximum size is serving 5 dishes.
Currently the maximum size is serving 10 dishes.

[Update] Menu size limit increased from 5 to 10 after Patch v0.1.7.

☑️ I have level X but did not unlock new recipes. When do they unlock?

The Restaurant Level is different from the Mastery Level.
You can see your Restaurant Level in the top right corner of the screen. Golden chef hat icon.
You can see your Mastery Level in the Menu section, in the upper left side. White chef hat icon.

By leveling up your Mastery Level you unlock new recipes.

A recipe unlocks when you reach a specific Mastery Level, which is indicated near a chef hat icon of each locked recipe card, found in the Menu section in the tablet.

☑️ How do I level up my Mastery Level?

Mastery Level goes up by one when a dish you have on the menu levels up.
All level ups of menu dishes are shown when finishing the day.

After a dish reaches level 11, anything above that does not count towards Mastery Level.
In this case, I recommend serving other dishes below level 11.

[Update] "MAX" sign was added to indicate when a recipe is at maximum level, thanks to Patch v0.1.6.

☑️ How do I restock the drink fridge and tea/coffee/juice stand?

Beverage stands restock themselves automatically when finishing the day (after going to sleep).

💡 Tip: If you notice that your beverage stands run out quickly and there are many more potentially thirsty customers, simply purchase more beverage stands.

☑️ Where do I buy the Starfruit?

Starfruit can be purchased from the smuggler. He can be found standing between the Greengrocer shop and the ATMs, there should be an exclamation mark above him.

🏆 What do I serve to Gourmet Juan?

Hint: Juan likes spicy food. He wants you to serve him Chicken Legs. How can you make them spicier?

Simplest solution: Prepare Chicken Legs according to the recipe, but add +1g extra of Chili Pepper on each raw Chicken Leg (3g Salt and 4g Chili Pepper each). Grill both seasoned Chicken Legs and a sliced Tomato. Place the grilled ingredients on a plate and bring it to him to his table.

🏆 What do I serve to Gourmet Elena?

Hint: Gourmet Elena needs prepared star fruit.
You can buy star fruit for 1,000 from the Smuggler who greets you at the door.

Simplest solution: Slice the star fruit, grill it and serve.

🏆 What do I serve to Gourmet Monsieur Anton?

His instructions are to serve him circular or oval shaped food pieces on a square plate. He also mentions finding colors precious.

Simple solution: sliced & grilled Pepperoni Slices (since they have a round shape). Serve on a square plate.

🏆 What do I serve to Gourmet Abby?

Her instructions are to serve her a vegetarian dish that includes pineapple.

Simplest solution: Slice the pineapple, grill it and serve.

🏆 What do I serve to Gourmet Leonardo?

After giving you 4 paintings for inspiration, he expects you to create a dish.

Hint: Three paintings depict three dishes you know. The fourth painting resembles a plate.

Solution example: On a round plate, I simply served him the three dishes that were required to unlock him. All on one round plate: jelly, uncut strawberry, 3 pieces of baked ravioli and a baked pretzel. Works.

Wondering if you plan on making warming holding trays or the ability to add multiples of the same recipe. The timer when you run out of something is way to quick to cook how I do it now is too cook 4 plates and microwave them as I run out.
