Tips for becoming a master chef

-if playing in jolly co-op, try to let spearmasters kill prey so they can get food too.

- if you are playing as gourmand you may be able to craft food items.

- if you have a bubble fruit but no water, you or another rivulet (if playing in jolly co-op) can pop bubble fruits without water.

- be da chef of the team, even if you aren't playing in co-op.

- just know that you can make these recipes by yourself, no co-op needed.

- Saving food is a must when you can't eat it all. to save food all you have to do is put it in a shelter. this way you may eat it next cycle or use it in another recipie.

EVERYWHERE MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS AND VEGETARIAN
Batfly kebabs

step one: find a spear or two.
step two: Find a batfly swarm.
step three: Throw the spear(s) through a large group of batflies.
step four: repeat the processes till there are 3-5 batflies on the spear(s).
step five: dig in!

OUTSKIRTS MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS
Green lizard with a side of batfly.
You may replace green lizards with pink lizards and batflys with blue fruit if wanted.

step one: Hunt down a green lizard and bring it to where you are preparing the food.
step two: hunt down for 3-5 batflies and bring them to where you are preparing the food.
step three: remove all spears from the green lizard's body and put aside for later use.
step 4: neatly put the green lizard in the eating area with the batflies on the side.
step 5: dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS
Noodlefly platter.

step one: find a family of noodleflies and kill the adult with your spear.
step two: grab the young noodleflies and wait till they are dead.
step three: bring everything to where you are preparing the food.
step four: remove all spears from the adult noodlefly's body.
step five: neatly put the adult noodlefly in the eating area with the young noodleflies on the side.
step 6: dig in!


3rd MEAL: VEGETARIAN AND OMNIVOROUS
Blue fruit and batfly bowl.
if playing as saint you may remove batflies.

step one: forage for 3-5 blue fruits and bring the back to the prep area.
step two: forage for 0-5 batflies and bring back to prep area.
step three: mix food as you like.
step 4: dig in!

INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS
Grubby bowl.

Step one: find and kill 1-2 small centipedes, remove the spears from them, and bring them to prep area.
step two: find and kill 1-2 vulture grubs, remove the spears from them, and bring them to prep area.
step three: find and kill 3-5 batflies and bring them to prep area.
step four: mix food together if wanted.
step five: dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS
Thanksgiving vulture
(Requires a bit of effort to make, is a large meal and can be saved for later.)

step one: find a place for the prep area to be and place 3 spears and a living vulture grub on the side.
step two: summon the vulture with the grub, kill the vulture, and remove spears from the vulture body.
step three: unmask the vulture and keep the mask.
step four: kill the vulture grub.
step five: find and kill 2 blue lizards and bring them to prep area. (you may use the vulture mask to make it easier)
step six: put the 2 blue lizards on the sides of the dead vulture and the vulture grub on top.
step seven: dig in!


3rd MEAL: VEGETARIAN
Fruity delight
(Bubble fruits are sometimes hard to find in Industrial, therefore they are not required.)

step one: find 3-5 blue fruits and bring them to prep area
step two: find 0-3 bubble fruits, pop them and bring to prep area
step three: mix food together as needed.
step four: dig in!

DRAINAGE SYSTEM MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS
Taste of the sea

step one: find and kill a hazer, remove the spears from it, then bring it to prep area.
step two: find 3-5 bubble fruits, pop them, then bring to prep area.
step three: mix as wanted, or neatly put the hazer on top of the bubble fruits.
step 4: dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS
Escargot salamander

step one: find and kill a salamander, then bring to prep area, and remove all spears from the body.
step two: find and kill 1-2 snails, then bring to prep area.
step three: top the salamander with the snail(s).
step 4: dig in!


3rd MEAL: VEGETARIAN, OMNIVOROUS
Fruity delight

step one: find 3-5 blue fruits and bring them to prep area
step two: find 0-3 bubble fruits, pop them and bring to prep area
step three: mix food together as needed.
step four: dig in!

GARBAGE WASTE MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS
Waste Wanderer's Forage Feast.
(mushrooms not required, since they do not do much in the meal.)

Step one: find and kill 1-3 hazers, take the spears out of the body, then bring it to the prep area.
step two: find and kill 1-2 Squidcadas, take the spears out of the body and bring to prep area.
step three: put the squidcada(s) in the middle of the prep area, and the hazer(s) on the side of the squidcadas.
step four: dig in!


3rd MEAL: VEGETARIAN
Scrounger's Harvest Salad
(mushroom not required, since they do not do much in the meal.)

step one: find a popcorn plant and pop it, this will be your prep area.
step two: find 2-3 blue fruits and bring it back to prep area.
step three: find and pop 2 bubble fruit, then bring to prep area.
step four: find 0-1 mushrooms, then bring back to prep area.
step five: mix the blue fruit, mushrooms, and bubble fruit under the popcorn plant as needed.
step six: dig in!

SHORELINE MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS
Oceanic Medley Feast

step 1: find and kill 1-2 hazers, remove spears from the hazers, and put it in the prep area
step 2: find 3-5 jellyfish and put it in the prep area.
step 3: put the two hazers in the middle of the prep area, and the jellyfish on the side.
step 4: dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS
Jetstream Delight

step 1: find 1-2 jetfish, then ride them into a prep area with no water
step 2: find and kill 3-5 hazers, take the spears out of them, and bring them to the prep area.
step 3: kill the jetfish, then take the spears out of them.
step 4: put the jetfish in the middle of the prep area, then put the hazers on the side.
step 5: dig in!


3rd MEAL: VEGETARIAN
Shoreline Salad

step 1: find and pop a popcorn plant, this will be your prep area.
step 2: find 3 blue fruit, and bring them to the prep area.
step 3: find 3 jellyfish, and bring them to the prep area.
step 4: find 2 bubble fruit, and bring it to the prep area.
step 5: mix the ingredients together as needed.
step 6: dig in!

SHADED CITADEL MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS
Slimebug Delight.

step 1: find and kill an eggbug, take 2-6 of the eggs that come off it's back and bring them to the prep area.
step 2: find 3-5 chunks of slime mold, and bring it to the prep area.
step 3: mix the ingredients as needed.
step 4: Dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS
Spider Slider
(If you want to add any other things to the slider, add them with the big spider on step 4)

step 1: Find and kill a big spider, remove the spears from it, then bring it to the prep area.
step 2: find and kill 2 black lizards, remove the spears from them, then bring them to the prep area.
step 3: place one of the black lizards on the floor of the prep area.
step 4: place the big spider on top of the black lizard.
step 5: place the other black lizard on top of the big spider.
step 6: Dig in!


3rd MEAL: VEGETARIAN
Shaded Grove Delight
(Mushrooms are not mandatory, since they don't do much in the meal, so are bubble fruits, since they are hard to find in the shaded citadel.)

step 1: find 3 blue fruits and bring them to the prep area.
step 2: find 0-2 bubble fruits and bring them to the prep area.
step 3: find 3 slime mold and bring them to the prep area.
step 4: find 0-1 mushrooms and bring it to the prep area
step 5: mix up the ingredients as needed.
step 6: Dig in!

THE EXTERIOR MEALS

1st MEAL: VEGETARIAN AND OMNIVOROUS
Blue fruit and batfly bowl.
if playing as saint you may remove batflies.

step one: forage for 3-5 blue fruits and bring the back to the prep area.
step two: forage for 0-5 batflies and bring back to prep area.
step three: mix food as you like.
step 4: dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS
Lizard Sizzler

Step 1: find and kill 2 blue lizards, take the spears out of them, and bring them to the prep area.
Step 2: find 2-3 Grappling worms and use them to grapple your way back to the prep area.
step 3: kill the grappling worms and then take the spears out of them.
step 4: place the grappling worms on top of the lizards however you like.
step 5: Dig in!

FIVE PEBBLES MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS AND VEGETARIAN
Brain Power
Step 1: find enough neuron flies to fill up your food pips
step 2: place them all in a safe room that has no gravity so the neurons cant fly away and no daddy long legs or inspectors .
step 3: Dig in!


2nd MEAL: ALL TYPES
just popcorn

step 1: find a popcorn plant.
step 2: pop the popcorn plant with a spear
step 3: dig in!

CHIMNEY CANOPY MEALS

1st MEAL: VEGETARIAN, OMNIVOROUS.
Wormy Delight

Step 1: Find a family of noodleflies.
step 2: kill the adult noodlefly to minimize threats, then kill the infant noodleflies.
step 3: take the infant noodleflies to your prep area.
step 4: find and kill 2-4 vulture grubs, then bring them to your prep area.
step 5: Mix the ingredients together as needed.
step 6: Dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS
Sky High

Step 1: Find a vulture grub and three spears, bring these to the prep station. (Make sure your prep station has open sky.)
step 2: summon and kill a vulture using the grub, and remove all spears from the vulture.
step 3: find a family of noodleflies, kill the adult and bring it to the prep area.
step 4: Lay the noodlefly on top of the vulture.
step 5: dig in!

SKY ISLANDS MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVORES, VEGITERIANS
Airborn salad

Step 1: Find and kill 3 batflies and bring them to prep area
step 2: find 4 blue fruits and bring them to prep area
Step 3: find 0-1 mushrooms and bring them to prep area
step 4: Mix Ingredients together as needed
Step 5: Dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVORES
Centiwing Nigiri

Step 1: Find and kill 1-2 White lizards, remove spears from them, and bring to prep area.
Step 2: Find and kill The same amount of centiwings as the white lizards, remove spears from the centiwing(s) and bring to prep area.
Step 3: Place 1 centiwing neatly on top of each lizard
step 4: Dig in!

FARM ARRAYS MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVORE, VEGETARIAN
Day's Harvest.

Step 1: Find a popcorn plant, this will be your prep area.
Step 2: Find and kill 0-2 Vulture Grubs and bring them to the prep area.
Step 3: Find as much edible foliage as possible and bring it to the prep area.
Step 4: Mix ingredients as needed.
Step 5: Dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVORE
Nutritious Snack

step 1: Find and kill 1-3 centipedes of any size and bring them to the prep area.
step 2: Find and kill 1-2 eggbugs and take the body to the prep area.
step 3: find and kill 1-2 vulture grubs and take them to the prep area.

SUBTERRANEAN MEALS

Subaqueous Squid

Step 1: find and kill 1-3 Squidcadas and bring them to prep area.
step 2: find 1-2 jetfish and ride them to the prep area.
step 3: Kill the jetfish and take the spears out of them.
step 4: Arrange the ingredients as preferred.
step 5: dig in!


3rd MEAL: VEGETARIAN
Glowing Fruit Meal.

Step 1: Find 3-4 bubble fruits, and 2-3 glow weeds, then bring these ingredients to prep area.
Step 2: Pop the bubble fruit and put it with the glow weeds.
Step 3: mix ingredients as needed.
Step 4: dig in!

OUTER EXPANSE MEALS

1st MEAL: OMNIVOROUS.
Speared Yeeks
(Step 3 is not mandatory. Spear stuff into the ground by backflipping and holding the down input, then throw. )

Step 1: find and kill 1-2 yeeks, then bring to prep area.
Step 2: find 2-3 gooieducks, then bring to prep area.
Step 3: In the middle of the prep area, Spear the yeek(s) into the ground.
Step 4: Hold the "eat" button on the gooieducks, then once you hear a pop sound, throw the gooieducks.
Step 5: Put the popped gooieducks on the side of the Yeeks.
Step 6: dig in!

2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS
Bugfly Bowl

Step 1: Find a family of noodleflies, kill the adult to minimize hazards, then kill the infants and bring them to prep area.

Step 4: Put the gooieducks under the popcorn plant.

Marine Fusion Feast

Step 1: Find and Kill a Eel Lizard, then bring it to prep area.
Step 2: Find and kill 2-3 squidcadas, the bring it to prep area.
Step 3: Organize the ingredients by putting the eel lizard in the middle, and the squidcadas on the side of the prep area.
Step 4: dig in!

Scavenger Squash
(Please see the meal after this to translate this to artificer.)

Step 1: Find and kill 1-3 scavengers, then bring to prep area.
Step 2: Find and kill the same amount of dropwigs as scavengers.
Step 3: lay 1 dropwig on top of each scavenger.
Step 4: Dig in!


2nd MEAL: CARNIVOROUS.
Scavenger squash
*TRANSLATED TO ARTIFICER, SOME MAY BE UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS*

Step 1: Using your everlasting explosive rage, beat the hekk out of 1-3 Scavengers, then bring to prep area.
Step 2: Explode the scavengers even after they are dead, just cuz you hate them.
Step 3: Spear the scavengers into the ground ( Then then wont get snached by any other creatures so you can suck the life out of them instead of somthing else.)
Step 4: Step 4 times on the scavengers.
Step 5: step 50,000,000 times on the scavengers.
step 6: Find and kill the same amount of dropwigs as the scavengers.(you know what im thinkin)
Step 7: Lay the dropwigs on top of the Scavengers (Because nobody likes dropwigs, including scavengers, so you get to kill and eat the dropwigs, and the scavengers get to be buried in them.)

step 1: Find and kill 1-3 scavengers
step 2: Find and kill an equal number of centiwings
step 3: Arrange centiwings in straight lines

Step 1: Ascend a popcorn plant and bring all seeds to prep area
Step 2: Do step one again (this step may be skipped)
Step 3: Ascend a fire eggbug and harvest its fire eggs
Step 4: Mix ingredients (or neatly place seeds on top of all the fire eggs)
Step 5: Add dandelion peaches on top of the seeds if wanted then dig in!
