How to add skins to CS 1.6

In this tutorial I will show you how to add skins into Counter-Strike 1.6 (2024 tutorial)

1. Open Steam and go to Counter-Strike 1.6

2. Go to manage game settings

It will be a little icon on the right of the screen

3. Acces game proprieties

It will be the last option after you click the manage game settings button

4. Go to Installed files

The third option on the list

5. Acces CS 1.6 Instalation Folder

You will need to click on Browse

5. Navigate trough the game files until MODELS folder

After you enter the game instalation folder, head to the csstrike folder on top


Then head and click on the models folder

7. Search the internet for your skin

For this I will use an example of a Deagle Skin I found on the internet

Extract the folder from the WinRar and open the extracted folder

8. Move the filed to CS 1.6

Now move the skin files to the MODELS folder in CS 1.6

After that press on REPLACE when the Pop-Up appears

9. Open the game

After you moved files, open the game and your skin will be there!

This tutorial works with most of the skins but maybe some of the skins you find on the internet don't work for some unknown reason!
