A Beginner's guide to Sunkenland (Cause it was made by a beginner)

Fresh Beginning

You just started and are in the ocean. First swim to the island and gather wood. Then go near the tent and loot the crate that's nearby. Then go down in the water and harvest cars and furniture for scrap and cloth. Once you have the materials craft a crude axe, a pickaxe, a sack for storage, and with components found in lootboxes, a research table. Once you can make them all, use your new axe to get wood for a base to put the research table in.

Mid Early Stage

Congrats you're now the middle of the beginning and you have a research table. Next thought on your head, "I'm hungry" IN A MINUTE! First you need to get a bed for some wood and cloth now if you really want food research a planter and put strawberry seeds which you get by eating strawberries. Now next you need to get a furnace which can be reasearched in I think stage 2 crafting so unlock that. Then look for iron which looks like this.

Early Stage Climax

A good way to leave the early stage is to successfully take enemy land. to do this you need to get a crossbow and some bolts along with your axe. (wooden spears work too) After you craft those 2, go to your closest island with cloth and wood, kill the enemies, and craft a flag to claim that island to show those pirates whose the boss!

Traders

Before we move on to the next stage, I should mention traders. Traders can be a great way to help you get resources and sometimes exclusive items. Make sure to check some of them out if you’re having trouble getting what you need.

Early Mid Stage

Okay so now that you are starting to claim territory, you need to upgrade how you move. For more help on that go here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3130122609 After that, begin to add defenses as raiders might seem easy but don't worry, they will get much harder. Much, MUCH, harder. After you have made a good defense, begin raiding other islands as they house a lot of items that will boost your progress. A good way to end this stage is to make a level 3 crafting bench.

True Mid Stage

So, now you have made it quite far, but you still have ways to go. I'd recommend by now having some sort of black powder ammo weapon, as those are crucial for fighting enemies on further islands. The one I used most was the Percussion Pistol I've noticed some of you have trouble with the recipe so just so you know it's 2 sulfur and 3 charcoal for black powder then 1 black powder and 1 scrap metal for the ammo. A good way to end this stage is to have an armor station, a gun station, and an ammunition station.

Mid Stage Anticlimax

So the end of the Mid stage is pretty boring so I don't think it should be called a climax Though here is a good way to cement yourself into the late game. Claim 5 islands, get your first actual weapon from the Gun Workshop and make some iron or better armor. For said gun I'd recommend the bolt action or pump shotgun as both are very effective.

Early Late Game

So to start off, try to find some of the high tier armors. I found my pieces in random ammo crates. To finish this period, try to get both a tactical helmet and tactical vest.

Mid Late Game

This period is quite short as it is really just after tactical armor and before spetznaz armor. Of me currently writing this, spetznaz is the last armor you need to get before being completely maxed out. This is also how you finish this period.

The Final Stage (Kinda)

After everything you've been through, (good job for making it this far, btw) you have finally reached the last stage where you still have stuff left. There is no progression left, so to make it past this stage, you need to capture every single island.

Endgame

Congrats! You are a true Sunkenland gamer. You have now done everything you can really do other then build up your base even more (which isn't a bad thing). Now do whatever you want, since by now, you clearly are capable enough to make more saves and maybe help teach your friends. I hope this guide helped, because otherwise, I wasted my time.
