Introduction
This is my first Insurgency guide and my first guide ever. I have played over 350 hours of Insurgency and I decided that I would share two loadouts (for now*) from Security and Insurgent Forces that I think player's would benefit from most. This guide will be very basic showing you the best guns to use and multiple ways to customize the remainder of your loadout.

*Tell me in the comments if you want me to add more to the guide. I would be more than happy to:)
Security Forces Loadout #1 (Support)
The first thing you need to learn is weight points. The game has a set amount of weight points which varies depending on the server. To find your weight points press "M" and you will enter the "buy" menu. Look in the bottom right corner and you will see a number. That is how many weight points you have. Each weapon has a unique cost in weight points. Look at the top right of the description on the weapon to locate the cost in weight points.

If you are just getting started and haven't played much Insurgency, Support class would benefit you the most. This class will get you maximum kills. Choose the M249, the M249 is exclusive to support class and no other class has this gun. This gun has a HUGE magazine helping those first-timers out there spray and pray. I have tested the M249 by standing in spawn and holding down the trigger, you can shoot it for 20 seconds non-stop without having to reload. As for the scope, I would highly recommend using the holographic scope or the 1X red dot score because they only cost one weight point and the iron sight on the M249 isn't very good. With your remaining weight points I would recommend choosing two frag grenades (if you have the weight points), if not you can customize it any way you want.
Security Forces Loadout #2 (Rifleman)
The AC 556 used to be used very little in the game but then the gun was updated making it more powerful. Not many people realized that the AC 556 is about as powerful as the M14 EBR (a type of automatic sniper rifle). As you probably guessed automatic mode was added to the gun. You might say that if the EBR is more powerful, why not use that? Well I compared the two by going into a private match and fired them against a wall. If you shoot them yourself you will notice that the EBR's recoil is much greater than the AC 556. I put no foregrip or heavy barrel on either gun and used a scope so I could see how much it jumped. The AC 556 also has a slightly larger clip making it ideal for short, medium or long range engagements. And if you are one of those players (I'm one of them:) who forgets to change the firemode back from semi to auto then you will have no problem taking them out just as quick.
Security Forces Loadout #3 (Sniper) (WIP)
Sniping in Insurgency is a lot different from other FPS's out there. Although it is more challenging every shot is always a kill, even if you shoot their feet. Sniper is a popular class to use on open maps and is going to be hard to acquire. Once you have selected Sniper class choose the Mosin. You may not think it is, but it's more powerful then the American Sniper Rifle (the M4A01). Then you have to make a decision whether or not you want AP ammo or a Bipod, you will not have enough weight points for both (unless you only want a gun and no armor). If you have never played sniper, or you are inexperienced as a sniper, I would highly recommend the Bipod. Setting it up will still your gun of movement making it easier to set up a shot. Once again you can choose whatever scope you want, but I recommend the PO 4X24 Scope. As you can see below it has an arrow instead of a dot making it easier to visualize where your shot will end up hitting. With the standard 7X Scope it is harder to see your target and the hitbox doesn't always seemed lined up with the scope.

Insurgent Forces Loadout #1 (Militant, Striker or Specialist)
Props to the Soviet Union for making such good guns. Much more powerful then American made rifles. The Soviet Union is known for having created the most reliable gun in the world: The AK-47. Sadly the AK-47 is not a weapon made available in the game. The guns are very powerful, as I said before, but of course they come with heavy price; recoil. If you can learn to control the recoil then you will have no problem getting kills and most importantly staying alive. The best Insurgent gun is the AKS-74U or the AK-74(debatable).
This medium sized, fully auto, rifle can really pack a punch. The AKS-74U can be found in the following classes: Militant, Specialist, and Striker and with two fire modes: Auto and Semi. Once selecting this gun the first and most important upgrade you want to use is a foregrip. This will help reduce the powerful recoil on the gun. The rest is up to you, but I usually put Heavy Armor, Chest Carrier and 2 Frag Grenades. Once I have acquired more weight points, I do AP (Armor Piercing) ammo to lessen the amount of bullets and time it takes to kill a person.
Insurgent Forces Loadout #2 (Bomber)
Insurgent Forces recently obtained a new weapon*. IEDs. Many may think that its just a reskin of the C4 but its not. The IED is more powerful than C4 making it heavier and harder to throw, so keep that in mind. The IDE is only found on Insurgent forces; these packs of explosives are very powerful and painfully obvious. If you use C4 a lot you will notice that you can easily hide it with its sleek black look. Throw it in a dark corner? Forget it. No way an enemy is going to spot that. Especially when they're too focused on guarding any entrances/exits. But like I said above, the IED has a bigger blast radius and has more power behind it. When using the bomber class you may be wondering; Which gun is the best to use? Well since you asked i'll tell you. If you didn't well, too late you're reading it anyways. The AKM is the ideal weapon to use whenever you use the bomber loadout. Its the most powerful and is the least costly in weight points and is fully automatic. Take a look below for an ideal loadout.

We'll start at the top with the AKM. I would highly recommend using a foregrip becasue the recoil can get a little out of control sometimes. AP ammo is also a good choice because as I said earlier the AKS is the most powerful Insurgent gun, but if you place AP bullets in your mags then it will be equivalent to the damage of the AKS. Notice how there is no secondary. If you want enough weight points for the IED then you cannot have a secondary, as that is the whole reason you would chose this class. Next, obviously, you will want heavy armor for maximum protection. Last you want the chest rig. NOT the carrier because it makes no difference (except amount of mags) because you can only carry one C4.

*Note this is not true anymore*

Thank you for reading:)
I hope you enjoyed my first guide and I hope it was helpful. I know that I was opinionated in the creation of this guide:P But from my experience I have learned that these are the best weapons to use. Feel free to leave a comment or a rating, it is much appreciated and will help me make my guides better in the future. Good hunting.
A few quick notes
I created this guide back in September of 2014, as of now (May 2015) many things have changed, and since then some of the advice in this guide might be irrelevant. You might also notice some of the pictures of the classes are outdated. If I am incorrect about anything or if you have any further questions feel free to add me or leave a comment below.

SMG = sub machine gun, a weapon firing a pistol caliber round in the size of a rifle. The AK-74u, fires a intermediate rifle cartridge, and therefore is not a SMG. Correct me if wrong, haven't played game much.
