Shang Tsung & Kano Guide: Fundamentals, Combos, Block Strings

A video guide to using Shang Tsung with Kano as your kameo. It covers fundamentals of both characters along with combo routes, block strings, and some use cases for Shang's Form Stealer special.

Since the recording of this guide Kano's Eye Laser move has been changed to mid, which is a substantial buff. The move is still not terribly useful, and is easy to punish for almost the entire cast.

It is not mentioned in the video, but when you have the opponent cornered you need to change your first mid Ground Skull in his combo routes to be the close Ground Skull instead. If you are using f4 or f3 as a starter you will need to back dash before beginning the rest of the Ground Skull loops as normal. If you are using the 24 starter you can simply do the whole route using close ground Skull whenever you would normally use the mid version.
