About bugs

This guide was written based on the unedited version of the game. However, since then I recieved a blessing from the dev to publish my bugfixing mod that you can find HERE. Every bug mentioned in the Map Compendium was fixed by me in that Bugfixing Mod. A LOT of bugs. I highly recommend installing it.
Nevermind, bugfixes are now merged into the base game.

Intro

No map needed for town sections. Though, curiously, it seems that the first draft of the game's introduction was in the form of the actual walkable level that you can still see in game files. Also, at some point the game allowed you to choose between two difficulties, the easier of which enabled some sort of minimap for easier exploration.

Unmissable achievement - "Entered the Tower"

I'll be using the in-game names for floors. Don't come asking me why Floor 04 is missing and other such questions.

To see all the endings most efficiently, you will need to create two saves. I will clearly state when to make them.

At this point, if you have at least two "upset Mel points" she will ask if you trust her. Answering "I trust you" zeroes "upset points" and Mel turns neutral to you again. Answering "I do not trust you" will make her leave you.

pink - Portal to FloorBranch 2; nothing of note really, only locked door; but if you just near the end of the True Ending branch, the locked door will open for 12000 dust, initiating a battle and giving you "Skull and Feathers"

orange - Portal to FloorHospital; empty, but the altar room has a use now - interact with the altar to upgrade your "Golden Pig Chain" to "Platinum Pig Chain"

purple - Portal to FloorJapaneseTown; only available if you agreed to kill fishlord; near the Buddha statue you will meet a fish npc, tell him "I have come to kill your lord" to initiate boss battle; for that you will get "Lord's scales" armor item

Floor 28

s - start
1 - Special Crow; only appears if you have Chii's Coin; if you did everything right to unlock the True Ending, you then can ask it about the Crow deity to teleport to FloorCrow; talk to Crow lord there, you will be teleported back after that

Achievement - "Crow lord"

Floor 29

1 - Crows event; only available if you have Chii's Coin and picked right lines while exiting Floor 28; choose either "Pride" or "Fear", then "Duck into the forest", then "Climb it"

Achievement - "Chariot"

This is a good place to make the second savefile - this will allow you to quickly see three endings (and we already made the savefile for the 4th, Bad Ending)

Talking to Chii will lock you into True Ending route!

2 - Chii; if you've met the Crow lord, you will be teleported to FloorMeadow where only Mel awaits you; two outcomes are possible here:
- if you have at least one "Mel happy point", she will accept death without a fight;
- if her disposition towards you is neutral or she left you after the fight with Churnobog, you will have to fight her; loosing here initiates Bad Ending;

After Mel's death, Chii apears in the meadow; talk to him to go back to Floor 29

Achievement - "Rekindled Purusha"

there are several issues with this guide. first i couldn't get the sweet corn from the guy. then chii just decides not to give me the coin. I believe this is because of an update? The information seems outdated/doesn't cover these issues.

my game got glitched and I can't complete Queen Bee's quest, I picked up all the flowers and still I don't get teleported, also Queen Bee repeats same dialogue. I tryed to tp in and out, but doesn't seem to work.
