This is just a simple driveable model, so I haven't got a chance to explore further options.
You can still drive it as long as the ladder is off the ground and mounted on the engine. It will be a bit heavy to carry around but it can still move!
The only way to hitch the wheeled escape ladder is to weld it to the fire engine just like you normally use a weld gun.
