<Notes about Curse>

- Some statues will give curse, and others won't. The ones that give you curse will always give you +1% curse*.
- Exploding a grenade near a statue will break it and give a Level Up and 0.25% curse*.

* Statues that give Curse show dark red flashing effects around them when you approach them, so you (hopefully) won't get Curse by mistake.

* "Curse: X%" means that standard enemies have a X% chance of spawning as a Cursed Enemy. Cursed enemies are overall stronger, with much more speed than their regular variant. Cursed enemies also have a "cursed" appearance, like the Soul, that becomes an eye, and the Fish that becomes vibrant red.
The enemies that can be cursed are the Soul, Fish, Hand and Skull.

Typically one would not want a cursed enemy in high Overdrive levels because they can get so fast in high Peril** that they can reach the player before the spawn protection time expires, if the player is playing at 200% game speed (press Q (on keyboard) for that).

** Peril increases, among other things, the speed of enemies. Because of that, it gets harder or even impossible to avoid hits from Cursed enemies in (very) high Peril due to its speed increase.

(!) STATUES THAT GIVE CURSE ARE MARKED WITH A # ON THEIR NAME (!)

Berseker #

- +6% of 3 random base stats and +1% Curse.

The statue can only be used a single time before disappearing.
It can also give the same stat twice in a single use, like "+6 pickup radius" followed by "+6 pickup radius", it's random.

So, two examples of possible outcomes:
+6% maximum health; +6% pickup radius; +6% cooldown.
+6% weapon speed; +6% weapon size; +6% weapon size.

Consequences

- Gives a Level Up pickup while adding 10% to the next boss' health and 10 points to its damage.

If more than one level up is picked from a single statue, the boss health will be increased by x1.2, x1.3, and then x1.4[...], and damage will be increased in 10 points each time you use it too, so it goes 20 damage (10 base + 10 from the first time the statue is used in a row), 30, 40[...].

I am not sure the maximum amount that the player can pick up in a row, and how many in a run. It is said that in a run the limit is 3 or 4. Need information on that.

Important note: it is only for the next boss. Subsequent bosses are not affected.

Desperation

- Trade 10 HP for the item shown in the right. The item in the right changes reeeeal fast so I'm not sure how to choose it without randomly picking.

It also has a chance to give a Drill Module, if unlocked in the Profile skill tree. (needs confirmation)
Distribution

- Exchange items in left for the ones in the right. The item in the right is chosen randomly at the statue's appearance. The amount of the right will be 150% the amount of the left item, rounded down, except when the left one is only one, then the one in the right will be 2.

The amount of the item in the left will be everything you have of it, meaning that if you do the trade you'll lose the item in the left completely, thus leaving the slot free. (Clarification needed)

Dispel

Trade a Blackhole for halving the current Curse %. Using it when at 0% curse will give a generous amount of xp.

If Statue of Dispel is used at Curse: 1% or less the curse will disappear completely.
Discipline

- +5% to every stat but -1 max item limit
Execution

- Costs 1 Blackhole to temporarily remove the enemy shown on the right, giving you a lot of xp (it may be all the xp that one would get by killing them, but needs confirmation).

*A user has said on a commentary that it permanently removes the shown enemy from spawning.

Can be used more than one time but each use costs +1 Blackhole.
Experience #

- +5% XP modifier and +10% XP radius. Gives +1% Curse.
Gambler

- +1 Level Up at the cost of one Dice. Dice cost is increased by 1 each use.
History

- Kills all enemies and reduce Mortality by 1.00 (for 100 seconds) at cost of 1 Blackhole. Blackhole cost is increased by 1 each use.
Potential #

- Increase item limit by 1. Increases Curse by 1%.
Protection

- Gives a one hit shield.
Relief

- Gives you +15% Max HP and HP.

If a player had 90/145% HP, for example, they would have 105/160% HP after. It's an addition, not a multiplication.
Solution #

- Gives 4 to 5 health pickups and +1% curse.
Trade

- Give a Blackhole to get the pickup item shown in the right. Blackhole cost increases with every use, adding 1 per use.

For the people who wants to know what the Man on The Moon does:

- The Items on the left rotates from your inventory every 4 seconds. Upon interaction with the statue, it sacrifices X Amount of Items you currently own and chose for X Amount of Floppy Disk (LvL Up) on the right that you sacrifice.

It can be only done once per statue.

Exemple: V5 Core Sacrificed = 5 Floppy Disks

You're missing the man with the moon

thank you for this. its a bit awkward to quickly understand what a statue is offering while fighting a swarm of enemies.

Note that History effectively lets you spend more time grinding for levels, since you'll only fight the boss at the next Mortality multiple of 5.

New Statue from update! Metamorphosis: Trade all stacks of an item for X levels. It's a cute lil' astronaut near da moon. Thanks for the guide, really helped me through my playthrough.

The Blender/Execution kills the enemies of the type shown _and_ removes them from the spawn pool. You can see this in the text that pops up which is something like "remove <enemy name> from obj_player_selected"

This makes it a good one to go for in the latter part of the game when the enemies can start firing bullets allows you to remove hte bullets from the field of play completely.

I am 95% sure it's permanent

Is the Discipline statue a permanent x1.05 to your stats or just a bump at the time you take it?

No problem. Thanks for coming here ;)
