Is there a character customization in the game for now? (read before buying the game)
If you can only play with a female character or other races character you should know that for now there is only male character available in the game and you can only change the colour of skin of your character. The devs promised to add character customization in the future updates.

And please don't go crazy and don't jump like a crazy dog on the devs in the comments about it- cause that's rediculous, be normal! If u can't cope with it, go to a shrink:), take some pills to calm down lol.
Follow the announcements, i'm sure the devs will add it sooner or later!

But IMHO the male character in the game is kinda cute:) and really kinda masculine and fit, he has scars on his body, prolly he has been in some battles in his former life or maybe some weird beast attacked him or maybe something else happened:)).

If you got stuck
There's no unstuck button in the game, but you can kill youself finding this button in server settings. Just kill your-self, respawn on your spot place in your house come up to the place you stuck to pickup your stuff.
Don't forget to make photos of the places you for stuck in so the devs could fix the place.
How to craft stuff in your inventory
Some basic starting items can be crafter in your inventory like in most of the games. So just press TAB, you'll see the huge table called Blueprints on the right and you''ll see a long list of primitive items you can craft in the games before you'll learn to cradft workbenches and produce advanced tools and weapons and so on.
1) So choose and item you wanna craft for example I want to craft a stone spear, I'm clicking on a stone spear it highlights in grey, down below I see the required items to craft it (stone spear head - 1 piece, simple wooden handle - 2 pieces and simple ropes - 2 pieces).
2) So i just have to make sure I have all these items crafted (if i have all the items the quantity of these items will be highlighted in white, if i don't have these items in the inventory these items will be highlighted in red), if i don't have these items then i have to craft every needed item.
3) When i have all the items needed for crafting a stone spear i just click on a button Craft down below on the right corner. The craft of an item will take a coulple of seconds.

IMPORTANT: Always make sure you have all the right items (crafted) in your inventory needed to craft an item you want.

IMPORTANT!
In case you don't have a craft button, which happens really rare, but i saw some people complained about it. Just delete the game and download it again.

NB! In case you've got this problem plz make a screenshot and send it to the dev/or just download it in the Bugs section so the devs could find a way to fix it.
How to Fix Day/Night Cycle for Friends (in multiplayer)
So if you're playing with your friends and you want to switch off the night time even if you switched off day/night cyrcle your friends (clients) still be having it.
Here's what you have to do:
If you're a server, the moment on your friends's side it's getting dark, go to settings check the box next to Day/Night Cycle, click Apply, then uncheck the box (disable the cycle) and click apply again. Repeat this process every time your friends experience nighttime.
You need to craft iron tools (iron hatchet, iron pickaxe and iron shovel) as soon as possible.
Stone tools will take you hours to get wood and ore and durability of these tools leaves much to be desired. So, you need to craft iron tools. As soon as you'll get to the village and find your land do the following stuff:
1) talk to Governor Estiel (accomplish his 1st quest called Young Craftsman) to get a free constructor's bench.
2) go to Eugene (carpenter) and get his 1st quest called Junior Lumberman done to get a free carpenter's bench.
3) Craft a constructor’s bench
4) Craft a carpenter’s bench
5) Go to Fred (blacksmith) and take the quest called Aspiring Miner (to get 10 pieces of iron ore from Mekhrahn’s Palace (mine).
6) Leave about 3000-4000 coins to buy lockpicks from Pierre.
7) Now you need to go to Mekhrahn’s Palace (mine), to unlock this location you will need the following items: wooden plank – 35; primitive rope – 20; big cant timber – 20; primitive tool repair kit – 3.
8) Craft 35 wooden planks and 20 big cant timber in the carpenter’s bench, primitive rope and primitive tool repair kits you can craft from your inventory.
9) Take all the items you need with you, double check the quantity of items.
10) Before going to Mekhrahn’s Palace (mine) prepare your-self: craft a bow and 50 stone arrows, take a couple of rusty swords with you (read the chapter Weapons in the game and take 2 swords from the place near your uncle’s house and one sword near a skeleton guarded by 2 wild boars not far from Mekhrahn’s mine.
11) Craft about 3-4 pickaxes and take with you.
12) When you come up to the wooden indicators showing the way up to Mekhrahn’s mine facing the mines turn to your left, uphill and down to Pierre and buy about 10 lockpicks from him. You’ll need it to open chests with metal alloy hatchet and pickaxe and iron shovel in mines.
13) Unblock the Mekhrahn’s Palace (mine) and craft an advanced campfire at the gate so you could put stuff there if you’ll reach the limit of your weight.
14) When you unblock the Mekhrahn’s Palace (mine) run to jump on a broken cart in that area so the larvas and poisonous snakes couldn’t touch you and use your bow to kill this stuff.
15) When you’ll enter the cave the in mines be prepared to kill per one giant rat/large in every room of the cave, the last room contains 2 rats.
16) Make sure you’ll open all the chests in the cave to find blueprints for
17) Make sure you’ll pickup every scrap metal you see, because 1 scrap metal = 1 iron ingot, 1 copper scrap = 1 copper ingot.
18) After you killed all the larvas, snakes and rats you’ll have about 30 minutes till the respawn – this time you need to hurry and start getting iron ore. You’ll need to get 10 iron ore for Fred and I recommend you’ll get not less than 50 iron ore (because 4 iron ore = 1 iron ingot) for your-self to craft iron hatchet, iron axe and iron shovel. The more iron ore you can take the better!
19) Give Fred his iron ore – he will give you a free blueprint of an anvil.
20) Now you can but things from Fred, here’s a list of blueprints you need to buy: primitive smelt-furnace, blacksmith’s bench, kiln and an advanced weapon repair kit.
21) Now craft an anvil, a primitive smelt-furnace and a blacksmith’s bench. If you have some spare money, I’d recommend buy items like 10 bricks and 5 cement bags on the market instead of crafting it in case you need iron tool asap. If you, don’t you can take your time and craft a kiln and craft bricks and cement bags your-self.
22) Now put an anvil, a primitive smelt-furnace and a blacksmith’s bench on your land. First put only scrap metal into the smelter (don’t forget to put some 50-100 firewood into the smelter and turn it on) to get more iron ingots. Don’t forget to steal all the scrap metal from Fred’s place it’s scattered around his house like 5-6 scrap metal pieces. After you’ve smelted all your scrap metal go to iron ore and put it into your smelter.
23) Now take iron ingots form smelter and put it into an anvil to craft iron hatchet head, iron pickaxe head and iron blade of shovel.
24) Then put all these tool heads into the blacksmith’s bench and craft all your iron tools in there.
Don't forget to save the game:
There's an autosave in the game and u can choose how often do you want your game to be autosaved: every 1 minute or every 5 minutes or never. Set an autosave in the Game settings.

And still please don’t forget to save your game as often as possible not to lose any progress.
Save your game before fighting an animal and save it after u killed an animal, save the game before entering a dangerous location!
And save your game when you're exiting the session.
Advanced settings (to set your hunger/thirst and day/night parameters):
Before starting the game make sure to set Advanced settings to your liking. You can adjust hunger/thirst settings. Day/Night cycle settings if you want to play without a night just untick these setting. You can adjust the length of the day and night. Make sure you save the settings and you can create a new game and load it. Please check on your settings every time you log into the game! Due to early access, you may encounter the reset of settings to default.

How to open the map just press M:
Press M button on your keyboard to open the map. But don't forget to buy a map and keep it in your inventory, You can buy a general map from Pierre and than later you'll be able to study a blueprint of an expanded map (that includes Ruins) in Ruins.
Maps in the game and how to open them
To open the map press M.
There are 4 maps in the game at the moment at least what the devs has shown us so far:
1) Map of my land – given by our uncle Henry. It’s a small map that literally shows how to get to your land along a forest road and to Lovely-Dale village. Just follow the main forest path, don't take any turns and u'll get to LOvely-Dale village in a couple of minutes.

2) Map of Lovely-Dale village – you can buy this map on the market from the guy named Maximilian. It’s a detailed map of a village with markers of all the village NPC’s. Don’t forget to buy a compass and put it on your additional slot.

Map of Lovelydale with my comments (with indication of all the traders/NPC's on the map) for u to find them easier.

3) Extended map – Pierre can sell this map to you for 2000 coins. This map shows the blocked locations such as Mekhrahn’s palace (mine), Wolfish Hollow, the Damned place. Take a look at this map I put markers of some important places you will need for your quests.

4) The map of underwater cave that Gloria gives you to make a quest with Merlinder gems.

What weapons and tools to craft in the beginning of the game in your inventory:
If you ‘ve just started the game and appeared in the first location (uncle Henry’s house) after talking to uncle Henry (he is in the house) and taking a first quest, look around you and find small sticks, long sticks, stones on the ground, pick up the bushes (to get fiber).

Then open your inventory, by pressing TAB and u'll see 3 pages: Character stats on the left with the inventory, level indication, with armor in u, attributes etc in the middle and blueprints u can craft in your inventory on the right.

To craft an item chose an item u wann craft, get all the materials and put CRAFT button in the right low corner.

When you get enough resources craft:
1) A stone hatchet first, this way you’ll be able to cut down trees to get more long sticks, small sticks, logs, small logs. Put the hatchet on your hot bar.
2) After this you can craft a stone pickaxe to mine stones and ores. Put the hatchet on your hot bar.
3) Craft a primitive bow and a lot of stone arrows (about 50 arrows). Bow will save your life, will help you to defend your-self from animals and get some meat. Put the bow on your hot bar.
4) Craft a stone spear and put it on your hot bar.
5) Craft a stone skinning knife to skin animals and get meat and pelts.
6) Craft a stone shovel to dig soil, clay, sand.
7) Craft a lot of simple bangages (later on u'll learn how to brew nice and strong healing potions) and put it on your hot bar - it's super easy to craft (5 fiber, 2 purpurius baccas and 3 puberus baccas)
8) PIck up small vials with red liquid - healing potions any time you see them.

To repair your primitive tools, weapons and armor u can craft repair kits in your inventory. One set of repair kit fixes 50% of your broken item.
NB: Even if your tool, weapon or armow is totally broken (u see a red cross over a broke item) u can repair it!

Primitive tool repair kit: stones -3, ropes-2, small sticks-8
Primitive weapon repair kit: stones -8, ropes-2, small sticks-5
Primitive equipment repair kit (for armor): stones-2, ropes-5, small sticks-2

Weapons in the game
WEAPONS IN THE GAMES:
Some of the primitive weapons you can craft in your inventory.
1) Primitive bow (u can craft it in your inventory). You can craft wooden arrows and stones arrows in your inventory. Stone arrows are much better of cause.

2) Stone spear (u can craft it in your inventory)

Before you learn how to craft iron weapons u can find and use rusty swords:
1) Rusty short sword (u can find it near uncle’s house (find a note near a small pond close to Henry’s house), in the wolfish hollow in the chest)).

2) Rusty long sword (u can find it in the wolfish hollow in the far end of the cave, near two wild boars in a small forest (close to blocked ruins gate), near warg, close to uncle’s house)).

Need a better bow? U can buy bp’s of a Short bow from Eugene and craft this one in the carpenter’s bench. As soon you learn how to craft iron stuff and you have abundance in iron you could craft iron arrows, but I think it’s kinda expensive, so it’s up to you.

By the way, when you open Ruins and start to fight skeleton archers you can collect a lot of iron arrow from the ground.

Once you built a smelt-furnace, in an anvil and a blacksmith’s bench. You can buy bp’s of good iron weapons from Fred such as:
1) Iron spear (buy a bp from Fred)

2) Battle axe (buy a bp from Fred)

3) Short sword (buy a bp from Fred)

4) Long sword (buy a bp from Fred)

Weapons you can find in the Ruins:

Arrow Sword:
If you manage to kill a skeleton warrior, who lives in a small cave in the Magic Forest u can take Arrow sword from his loot:

Skeleton’s bow:
When you open the Ruins, u can fight skeleton archers to find Skeleton’s bow in their loot.

Iron stinger sword bp:
When entering the Ruined castle of Elefin on the right of the ruined square there’s a small mountain with a small long narrow stone stairs, take the stairs and get to the top to find a small gothic-like gazebo in the far-left corner there’s a chest with a blueprint of the coolest Iron Stinger sword (learn a blueprint and craft it).

Sacred fire sword:
If you come by the high monolith mountains on the right of the ruined castle and you’ll defeat a stone giant u can find a Sacred fire sword – it’s the best weapon at the moment.

And please don’t forget to upgrade your skills:
1) Attack to destruction – if you wanna make your sword more effective
2) Eagle’s eye if you use your bow very often.
3) Noble samurai – to increase the critical damage.
4) Rabbit’s foot – to increase the chance critical damage.
5) Invincible - to increase your armor.

Use a lot of potions (Synthea’s crit) to make your critical damage more effective on strong enemies (in the Damned place and in the Ruins).
And always take a lot of strong healing potions with you (the best you can craft).

If you feel you are not strong enough to fight mighty enemies always consider strategically how you gonna kill ‘em, where you gonna start and look for the stones you can jump on to get rid of as more enemies as possible.

And always take care of your armor and fix it in time (when you see it’s half broken – it’s high time to fix it not to lose any slots and not to protect your body.

If u have a limited space in your inventory u can store things in the containers
At the start of the game u have limited slots in your inventory just 18 slots (later u'll be able to crat bags and craft better armor that has more slots and more weight).
Don't throw important stuff on the ground from your inventory, otherwise it will disappear in a few minutes. Just find any lootable container in the game outside or inside the buildings (barrel, bale, crate, box, basket etc.) or u can craft a small container (basket box) in your inventory and put it on your land or u can craft a lot of campfires any where on the map and store things there.

NB: But remember that campfires have a certain amount of health and can be destroyed if u often use it to cook food, so all your things u kep there can disappear!
Health, hunger, thirst, stamina, durability of your armor, tools and weapons:
When you start a game if you don’t like hardcore survival elements, make sure you press ESC, go to Settings, choose Advanced settings and adjust your hunger and thirst parameters to the minimum, this way you won’t be getting hungry and thirsty every 5 seconds, but you will still need to eat and drink.
If you’re going to fight an animal and going to run away from an animal, look at your stamina, in the beginning your stamina is really weak and you need to upgrade it in the skills or you can learn to craft stamina portions Hard as nails potion +30 stamina (for more info check Potions in the game section).

DAY/NIGHT CYCLE:
If you don’t like the night, you can untick Day/Night Cycle.
Please note that the game has weather changes and you can encounter some cloudy weather and raining. You can’t get rid of these parameters.

Please, don’t forget to look at your hunger and thirst bar, you will need to eat and drink. In the start you can pick up the bushes some bushes give you red berries (Ruberus Baccas) – these berries will quench your thirst by 3% and purple berries (Purpuris Baccas)-these berries will still your hunger by 3%.

Remember that there are 6 wells with water in the village and you can drink it (see more info in the Water wells in the village sections).
You can also loot other people’s houses and find food in the containers it can be veggies, fruits, raw meat, fried meat, fried crab, lizard and so on.
You can catch and kill peaceful animals that will never hurt you like rats, lizards, rabbits and cook them in the camp fire.
When you get strong and learn how to cope with a bow, a spear or a sword you can go hunting foxes, young wolves, wolves, these animals are a little bit dangerous, but less dangerous than wild boars, deers, wargs etc.

HEALTH:
Please take care of your health craft a lot of bandages and put them on your hot bar. Later you will learn to brew health potions.

Don’t forget to save before going to fight an animal or going to explore a dangerous place, save after you kill the animals to save your progress.

PRIMITIVE ARMOR:
Always take care of your armor because it gives you protection, additional slots and weight. The primitive armor you have in the beginning can easily be broken by the animals. Make sure your shirt is always intact for it gives you 6 slots, if animals will break your shirt, you will lose 6 slots and all the stuff you have in your inventory will fall on the ground. So make sure you have always a spare primitive equipment repair kit in your inventory. You can easily craft it from your inventory.
NB: Even if your armour is totally broken, don't throw it away, you can always repair it!

PRIMITIVE TOOLS, WEAPONS:
Always take care of your tools and weapons, once it has less than a half of the 100% durability make sure you craft a primitive tool/weapon repair kit and fix your tools and weapons. You can craft these repair kits form your inventory.
NB: Even if your weapon is totally broken, don't throw it away, you can always repair it!

How to pick up workstations/workbenches without breaking them
If you wanna move your workbench to some place just buy a blueprint of a mallet from Fred and craft a mallet in your carpenter's bench.
Come up to the object you want to pickup, take everything from this workbench, if the workbench needs to be repaired, get the necessary items and repair it.
When you came up to the object and took everything from it, right click button mouse you'll see a wheel to destruct or to pickup object and then click the left mouse button to choose pick up option and you'll get the workbench into your inventory.

How to learn blueprints that u got from NPCs, found in the chests or bought from NPCs
If u got a blueprint from an NPC, or bought it, or found it in the chest or in the container, just put it on your hot bar, then press the button there u put you blueprint on the hot bar and click LMB, your character will start to read this blueprint.

NB: As soon as u receive a blueprint from an NPC, or found it in the chest or container make sure to immediately learn it this way u can be sure that u won't lose this blueprint so u don't have to buy it again and u'll be able to free your inventory for other stuff.

After u learned the blueprint it will disappear from your hot bar, now u can press TAB, then chose blueprints page above and u'll see the blueprint of an item that u've learned and if it's a workbench u can see some of the items that can be made there (and materials this items need to be crafted), if it's an item u will see what resources u need to craft it.

NB: If u forgot what blueprints u've already bought after u learned them u can either press TAB and go to blueprints page to find the blueprints or u can come up to an NPC and if u bought and learned a blueprint u'll see a green tick on this blueprint in the list of this NPC's goods.
When u're giving the quest to the NPC to get a reward (free some space in the inventory)
When you get all the items, resources to complete the quest and u come up to the NPC to give him a quest and get your reward please always remember to leave 2-3 empty slots beforing giving the quest, otherwise you won't be able to give it to the NPC, because you need empty space for coins, for blueprints etc in your inventory.
Starting tips (3 first quests) from the moment you appear in the game close to your uncle's house:
You’re starting your journey as a character, whose father has just died, and you decided to move to another place to your uncle Henry, not to feel that lonely.
Starting location (uncle Henry’s house) located in the far south of the map.

First Quest: Talk to uncle Henry
To complete this quest just enter the house, come to your uncle Henry and talk to him. He will tell you that he has bought a small piece of land for you in the village and you should go and see your land. You should also visit governor Estiel in the village.
Governor Estiel is going to give you 4 quests that you should complete to get 4 blueprints of important workbenches (1st quest give you a constructor’s bench blueprint; 2-d quest gives you a research table blueprint; 3-d quest gives you a blueprint of a crusher; 4-th quest gives you a blueprint of coal miner, iron miner and copper miner).
After talking to your uncle Henry, he will give you a map of how to get to the village and find your piece of land. He also gives you 2000 coins, just don’t spend your money on anything unimportant, you will need this money! I would suggest you spending this money on a compass and a map of Lovely-Dale village. These two things you can buy on the village market from Maximilian. Extended map (map that includes all the locations in this world except for the Ruins location) you can buy from Pierre (the guy that sells lockpicks).

Important tip: don’t throw away the maps from your inventory!

Before leaving your uncle’s house make sure you take a lockpick in the wooden crate in your uncle’s yard.

Second quest: Go to the village – Find your land.
To get to the village you should go straight along the forest road not turning to the left or to the right in order not to get in trouble😊. Just follow the map your uncle gave you.
Just when you have reached the village and stand in front of the first bridge to enter the village, turn your head to the left to see a beautiful stone two-storey building with a stone roof – that’s the house of governor Estiel. Go to Estiel, make acquaintance with him and take his first quest called Young Craftsman.

To find your land just go straight along that village path without turning anywhere, passing by Fred (blacksmith), Claudia (cook), Rahul (miller), Joshua (healer) on the left and the church and the market on your right. If you follow this direction, you’ll come to the bridge that leads to a birch grove with a massive place of plots, walled in with a stone fence. Your piece of land is going to be right in the middle of this building on the east. As soon as you enter your land a huge inscription Your Own Land will appear on your screen and consider the quest is done.
When you completed the quest Go to the village – Find your land and the 1-st quest of governor Estiel - Young Craftsman you can read section Order of execution of quests in the village or just do it your own way.
Order of execution of quests in the village:
Here is my vision of how you can complete the quests once you came to the village and found your land.
A huge quest from Claudia consists of several quests, according to the quest you should bring her: 10 sacks of wheat flower (from Rahul), a set of meat products (from Sebastian) and a set of fruits and vegetables (from Adriano).

Every quest-giver (from Claudia’s quest) Adriano (gardener), Rahul (miller), Sebastian (cattle raiser) will be giving you a small quest (Adriano ask u to dig mineral soil in the cave of the wolfish hollow; Rahul wants u to bring sacks from Gloria, Sebastian will ask u to catch rats for him; Gloria will ask u to bring her some fiber and cotton) to complete before giving you an item for Claudia. Every quest-giver will pay you for a small quest and some of them will give you a blueprint of a workbench (Sebastian and Gloria). Please note that not every quest-giver gives you a free blueprint and if the quest-giver doesn’t want to give you a blueprint for free, please don’t be mad at them😊.

I would recommend starting with the 1st governor’s quest called Young Craftsman ‘cause he will give you a blueprint of a constructor’s bench and 500 nails and 2000 coins. You can build building parts for your house in this bench, but the coolest thing is that you can build almost all the workbenches in it.
Then complete the quest Junior Lumberman, given by Eugene (carpenter). Eugene gives you a blueprint of a carpenter’s bench and 1000 coins (a small tip: close to Eugene there's a stump where u can craft firewood from small logs. if u're overweight with stuff or have have small space in the inventory u can put your things into this stump for storage) .

Here's a list of workbenches u shoulds craft
Craft constructor’s bench in your inventory and put it on your land, then craft a stump in your inventory to be able to craft firewood. Then u can craft a carpenter’s bench in the constructor’s bench and put it on your land. This way you’ll be able to make money taking a repeating quest from Eugene and u'll be able to craft building parts for your house and to craft sawn wood for other workbenches. Craft a few basket boxes in your inventory and put it on your land to be bale to store more things there. Craft an advance campfire on your land in order to be able to cook food.
After Gloria gives u a bp of a tailor's bench, craft it in the constructor's bench amd put it on your land. Then earn some money and buy 3 important blueprints from Gloria: cotton fabric, small cotton bag ( it will give u 6 additional slots and +50 to the weight) and mule's bag (doesn't give u additional slots but gives u +500 to the weight - u can carry very heavy things like a lot of logs, iron ore and more). Make sure u're upgraded a Perfectionist skill (it gives u 6 more additional slots in your inventory) in your skills page.
After completing aspiring miner quest, Fred gives u a bp on an anvil, buy a bp of smelt-furnace, blacksmith's bench, kiln, craft it all and put it on your land. Craft iron hatchet, iron pickaxe and iron shovel.

After these 2 quests you can take a huge chain quest given by Claudia, u don't have to complete all the 3 parts of this long quest right away (just do the part for Rahul and Sebastian and get a set of meat products and sack with wheat flour and put these things into your storage container (basket box or any workbench).
To complete Adriano's quest (to get mineral soil in the cave in the Wolfish hollow) u have to be prepared.
First of, get all the materials which u will need to unblock Wolfish hollow area ( u can craft wooden things like: wooden planks, small blocking lumber, big cant timber in the carpenter's bench; simple iron parts u can buy from Maximilian if u don't have money, u can make money by making some quests for Eugene, Sebastian, Gloria, Joshua.
2) make your-self a shovel and put it on your hor bar.
3) make sure u've got a bow and about 50 arrows, a rusty sword, a spear, and a lot of bandages or healing potions, a pickaxe, a hatchet, a skinning knife. repair all your wepons, take a couple of repairing kits for weapons and your armor, if u don't have repair kits with u u can always craft it just find sticks, fiber and stones.
4) equip your mule's bag instead of a small bag, for u'll be able to carry a lot of heavy stuff with u (mineral soil, rock salt, alumstone, some stuff from the chests)
5) if u have money u can buy a couple of lockpicks from PIerre to open 4 chests in the cave of the wolfish hollow and mine rock salt, alumstones, open some chests with nice stuff). Be careful there 2 young wolves in the cave.

NB: Save before and after every important iteration of the game.
When u unblock the Wolfish hollow be careful 'cause 3 young wolves will be waiting for u on the leff near a small pond and u'll have to kill those wolves one by one with the help of a bow, don't let all 3 wolves attack u, cause u won't survive on this level. After killing every wolf don't forget to save the game.
So when u killed those 3 wolves u can go to the left, passing a small pond and near the cave one more wolf will be waiting for u.

Opening the notes you may find in chests or other containers (just press N and choose a note to read):
To read a note you found in the chest or in any container just press N button on your keyboard or press Tab and go to the tabbed page Notes, choose the note you want to read on the right and there you go.
What to do if you died:
If you died, when you come to the cross with your body and your stuff, make sure to open your loot first, then first thing you have to do is to put your SHIRT (because it's always a shirt or a chemise that adds additional slots), then proceed with pants, hat and boots on and only then take all your other stuff. Never pickup your loot from your cross without taking your clothes on.
To put on your clothes quickly just right click on your clothes and it will set on your clothes slot. When you put your clothes on, make sure you put all your tools, weapons on your hot bar and then take all the other stuff from your loot.
Sleeping bag (used only for respawn and can be put only on your land):
Sleeping bag only meant for respawn. You can put it on your land and respawn at home if you died. You’ll need 7 pelts, 3 ropes, 10 feathers to craft a sleeping bag from your inventory.
About bottles:
If you find any bottles in houses, don’t hurry to sell them. You can use these bottles later to fill with water in your own well to drink from it, use it for cooking or for brewing potions.
Water wells in the village:
There are 6 wells in the village to drink water from. Water in the wells is replenishable. It takes about 15-30 minutes for water to replenish.

Active quests – it’s all the quests you have taken from NPC’s. These quests are shown on the right side of your game interface. You can hide these quests if they bother you, by unticking the corresponding quest.

Buying/not buying the plots of land around your piece of land:
Personally, I don’t recommend you to pour your money down the drain on buying the plots in the beginning of the game. You will need money for your progress. Start buying the plots when you’re rich enough. Plots have coal, iron and copper deposits, but you can’t mine these deposits with the help of a pickaxe, you need to do Estiel’s 4-th quest to get coal, iron and copper miners to craft them and put them on your deposits so you could produce coal and ores without going anywhere.
Looting the houses:
You can loot all the houses and take everything you want. You can sell all the stuff you find in the houses on the local market. But you have a limited inventory in the beginning so make sure you take all the important stuff from the containers you can take them and sell them later. Make sure that you don’t throw the items on the ground for they can disappear in 15-20 minutes, you can put (leave) items in the containers and come after them later. Some of the chest and cupboards are locked, for they might have something important inside: money, golden tableware, important blueprints and so on. You can buy lockpicks from Pierre, lockpick costs 300 coins. Don’t spend all your money on lockpicks before you get pretty rich😊.
Food in the containers:
Once you open the container with food the decay timer starts to work. Every food has it’s own decay timer that you can see if you just put your mouse on it’s icon and see how much time left till the food is rotten.
When selling items to traders on the market or to NPC’s:
Not all the items are indicated in the list of the goods that you can sell to any traders or NPC’s. To see what items can any trader or NPC buy from you, just come to that trader/NPC, talk to them, choose an item from your inventory and if the trader is interested in this item just click sell.
Scrap metal and Copper scrap:
When you see a scrap metal or a copper scrap make sure you pick it up, for you can smelt it effectively in your smelt-furnace into an iron or a copper ingot. One scrap metal/copper scrap =1 ingot.
How to get an iron/copper ingot from iron/copper ore
To get an iron or a copper ingot just put 4 pieces of each kind of metal into the primitive smelt-furnace, put firewood or some coal inside and turn it on. For every 4 pieces or iron or copper you'll get one iron/copper ingot. Of course, it's more effective to smelt scrap metal or copper scrap as you can get 1 ingot for one piece of scrap. BUt as soon as you'll get a crusher blueprint from Estiel, you'll be able to crush and purify iron and copper ore in it to get more iron and copper and to get more ingots in the furnace.
How to craft a metal alloy ingot
Put an iron ingot, a copper ingot and some sulfur powder into a primitive smelt-furnace to get a metal alloy ingot.
Where to find sand:
Sand can be found along the banks of a river, on the banks of some ponds. Sand is a white substance. The closest sand deposits can be found close to your house, just come to the bridge facing the village, turn to the left and just go along the bank of a river a few steps when you see white sand you can start digging😊.
Where to find clay:
1) Behind the church between the cemetery and pastor Gregory’s house.
2) Sebastian’s farm, 2 places near the stalls (horses stand on these 2 spots with clay).
3) Near your land, if you stand on your land, facing the village in front of the bridge that leads to the village, you can find clay on the far right bank of the river, just lcose to the mountain.
4) At the pond near the cave with mutant rats (close to uncle’s house)
5) At the pond in the Big forest
Where to find soil:
You can find soil everywhere where u can see the earth covered with grass😊.
Where to find mineral soil:
Mineral soil can be found in the cave in the Wolfish hollow. Wolfish hollow is on the right side if you stand facing Sebastian’s farm. Wolfish hollow is blocked (get the necessary materials to open the gates).

How to use lock picks to open chests and cupboards.
All the locks on closed containers (chests and cupboards) are divided into 3 levels of complexity: beginner, intermediate and master. Depending on the complexity level lock picks will be breaking faster. To learn how to open locks faster and break less lock picks, you better start practicing lockpicking with beginner level locks. First, buy a lot of lock picks from Pierre.
To open locks you will need only 2 things: mouse and W button. Moving the mouse, you are moving a lockpick to the right or to the left and W button helps to open locks. You should press W button interruptedly and you can’t hold W for a long time (not more than 2 seconds), because a lockpick will break, especially if you open intermediate and master locks, the longer you hold W button the faster a lockpick breaks on these complex levels.

To begin opening a locked container let’s start rotating a lockpick to the left, slowly moving your mouse, rotate a lockpick to the left, at the same time pressing W button interruptedly (for a few seconds). If you see that a lockpick is rotating to the left, keep on rotating a lockpick to the left don’t forget to press W button at the same time.
To open a lock a keyhole should be turned and get into the horizontal.

If during a rotation of a lockpick to the left, a lockpick doesn’t rotate to the left and a keyhole doesn’t rotate to the left it means you should change the rotation direction to the right. That’s why start rotating a lockpick slowly to the right, at the same time pressing W button interruptedly (remember that holding W for a long time will cause a lockpick breaking). When a keyhole will totally get into the horizontal the lock of a container will open.

After you master beginner level locks, move to intermediate level and then to master level locks. After you learn opening all kinds of locks you can be proud of your-self😊 and can easily open airdrops in Scum😊.
How to craft cement
You can buy a blueprint of cement from Joshua (Healer). Cement is made in a primitive mortar and pestle (Joshua also sells a blueprint of a primitive mortar). To get a cement bag just put these stuff into the primitive mortar and pestle: clay-2; sand-2; lime carbonate-2, empty sack-1.
How to craft lime carbonate
Lime carbonate blueprint is already in kiln. To craft lime carbonate just put into a kiln some limestones. 1 limestone = 1 lime carbonate. Use fuel (firewood, coal) to make your kinl work.
Which workbenches use fuel
1) Beamhouse - uses ash as fuel
2) Small brewing pot - uses firewood as fuel
3) Cook's stove - uses firewood and coal as fuel
4) Small cooling box and middle-sized cooling box - uses ice as fuel
5) Primitive smelt-furnace - uses firewood and coal as fuel
6) Kiln uses firewood and coal as fuel

after you open the gate to the damned place craft one or 2 advanced campfires near the damned place and put a lot of additional repair kits (for weapons, armor), put more additional healing potions there. try to find small stones in the damned place which u can jump on and shoot your arrows at the monsters from there. always check on durability of your mask, armor, weapons, take care of your health. time for respawn of monsters is 30 minutes. remember monsters can wait for you in different hidden places they can come from the underground and from a cave.
after u get sulfur ore (it's some yellowish stone) put it into the alchemist's table and press the following icon to get sulfuric powder and arsenic.
BarbieZombie  [Autor] 6. Nov. 2024 um 7:46
HI, Baghul! To get sulfur you should unblock the Damned place (you can find the direction by the wooden signs). That place is a lil bit dangerous so you have to do some preperations (to get better armor, weapons, bow with lots of arrows, strong healing potions, take repair kits (primitive for a safety mask) and advanced for your better armor and also advanced repair kits for your weapons). talk to pierre about the damned place, then go to Gloria and complete a task for her to get a bl of a safety mask, craft it - it will defend your breathing in the damned place. remember to check on your mask and repair it (because mosnters and gas in the damned place can damage
Baghul 6. Nov. 2024 um 5:05

instant_sunshine 29. Sep. 2024 um 1:09
Thanks BarbieZombie your guide is amazing. I was trying to answer for Ms. Shelob who asked re: the feathers. I was wondering where I can get strong rope please. I have read your guide but I must have missed that part, sorry Im an oldie at 72 so I miss things. Is it a blueprint? Thanks and I am seriously loving this game as I enjoy pottering about at my own pace crafting etc. Once you get the hang of the crafting system its quite fun working out the order of things and whats needed. Anyway strong rope will make my advanced weapon repair kit so i can get my iron skinner and
rusty short sword repaired. I need fat for my candles lol
BarbieZombie  [Autor] 28. Sep. 2024 um 1:27
hi, instant_sunshine! thank you for using my guide! you can find feathers in 2 places on the way to uncle Henry's place (one place is the second turn from the village - where a young wolf defends a short rusty sword), another nest with feathers is ob the same small forest road a litle father in the mountains between a couple of trees. One nest with feathers is on a small pond near uncle's house. One place with feathers is close with Beilin on the market. One place is on a small hill in the birch glove behind your farm. Couple of places in the big forest have feathers. One nest is in the Mekhran's mine on top of the building.
