Hatoful Boyfriend :: Prefered Bean List

NOTE: I wrote my Hatoful guides two years ago for the original English release of the game, but I figured it'd still be relevant and helpful now! If there's any changes to the re-release I'll make sure to update when the time comes.

I figured some people may want to know without going through the actual effort of finding out themselves, so here’s a quick and easy guide of the preferred Legumetines beans of each characters. Written for people who want to do everything but the beans themselves.

Bean List

• Ryouta: Calm Corn
  
• Sakuya: Racing Blend
  
• Yuuya: Bitter Black Beans
  
• Kazuaki: Country Millet
  
• Nageki: Country Millet
  
• Okosan: Swollen Hemp
  
• Shuu: I don’t think he prefers any in particular; racing blend will trigger a different reaction, however. I like giving him bitter black beans.
  
• Anghel: Bitter Black Beans

I keep getting the Kazuaki ending no matter which bean I choose, can somebody help me?

Okosan likes Swollen Hemp because Moa's bird likes it. Anghel likes the beans because he wants to be an adult. I would assume Nanaki and Nageki like the same because... reasons. No clue about the others.

Hello friends! I just wanted to drop a comment to let you know, the beans don't matter; they don't influence your ending, they just give the most positive response unless otherwise stated. :3

I'll update my guides soon, I moved across the country and I haven't had time for anything.

Pretty sure I gave Nageki the calm corn and still got his ending. Only mentioning it because other people are using all different beans. Maybe it doesn't matter what you give him?

@Dr.Mario: Giving Sakuya the Racing Blend is logical too since the shop assistant briefly mentioned that they are the most expensive/of highest quality. About Okosan, I guess it's because his personality is 'swollen' (aggressive, athletic/muscular). I agree that many of the rest wouldn't seem as rational though.

I gave the Swollen Hemp to Sakuya, Calm Corn to Nageki and Bitter Black Beans got me to Kazuaki's ending, even though I was aiming for Shuu...
