What is ReShade?
ReShade is a post-processing open source tool that you can use for almost any game; It basically just makes things look nice. It has a large amount of different effects you can download and use, from sharpening, adding more bloom, warping the screen, and more. It's also open source, so you can download other peoples shaders and use them in games as well.
Downloading ReShade
To download ReShade, go to this website here.[reshade.me]
Once there, click download, then click download again (You can choose the addon version if you want but I'm not in this guide), then open up the ReShade setup file.

Once open, a list of all your games should show up. Find Geometry Dash on there and select it, then click next.

It should now come up with 4 options, Microsoft Direct X 9, Microsoft Direct X 10/11/12, Open GL, and Vulkan. Select Open GL, then click next.

It will ask you to select a preset to install. For simplicity in this guide, just hit 'skip'.

It will now show you a large list of 'effect packages' that you can install. To select one, hit the box next to it. Some effect packages that I recommend are;

- SweetFX by CeeJay.dk (Selected by default)
- qUINT by Marty McFly (IDK but it has bloom)
- Color Effects by prod80 (Colors are swag)
- FXShaders by luluco250 (More bloom)
- Warp-FX by Radegast (Has a buncha cool warp effects)

There are a bunch more that you can choose (and you should), these are just the ones that I use the most.

Now, it's going to show you one shader/effect pack at a time. Here you can choose how many of the individual effects in the pack that you want to download. To just get all of them, hit next.
Repeat for all packs.

Hit finish.
Using shaders in GD
To use the effects, first open up Geometry Dash. To open up the effect menu, hit the 'home' button.
(On smaller keyboards, go fn + left arrow)

You can probably just skip the tutorial, because I honestly have no idea what it's talking about ;-;

You should now see a list of all the different effects on the left, and you can turn them on/off to affect how the game looks. You can also tweak the effects individually at the bottom of the effect menu by scrolling down (In the bottom section) until you find the effect then changing the settings.
End :)
If you follow all these steps, you should be able to get effects working.
If I got anything wrong in this guide, please tell me in the comments!
(It should work with 2.2)

Also in case you want to uninstall it then just open the setup thing, select geometry dash, OpenGL, then uninstall.
