Intro
Is it a slog finding treasure chests?
Is it a chore to find the best areas to rake in the big bucks?
Wish the process went a bit faster?!
THEN STOP WORRYING AND LEARN TO LOVE THE BOMB!

Welcome to this quick and quirky guide to your newfound richess!
Without jerking around too much, there's some requirements that need to be covered before executing this six-step grind strategy that completely buckbreaks the economy, and ensures your coffers will be filled not just with the white stuff, but the golden ones too!

So take this hand... eeeerrrr..
[whiping hand on pants]
AS we learn of the magic of explosive dashing!
Requirements
There are a few requirements, some optional, but there are mandatory ones that have to be done to properly set up the grind.

Mandatory
To execute the strategy, the player must have met these conditions:

Player Progress
This strategy can be done when the player has reached Jigoku, after beating the Ghost Castle level.
Goblin Bombs
This item is unlocked during the Goblin Caves stage when meeting with the retired Goblin Bomber.
Items
- Fortune Cat: This item can be bought at the Merchant in Spirit Town. This item increases the amount of coins dropped by enemies.
- Magnetic Hairpin: This item attracts nearby drops i.e coins, HP, and mana.

Optional

Controller
It is recommended that the method is handled with a controller for the multiple input sequences.

Missions
Boned - At Cabaret Bunny in Spirit Town, after releasing Rover, he will give you a quest to beat Skull Knights located at the Ghost Castle
Ghost Hunter - At the Cabaret Club in Spirit Town, after retrieving their panties, Milk and Cream will give you a quest to beat Ghosts at the Ghost Castle

Activating these missions are optional, but given how long you'll spend in the area, these can be grinded out as well for two h-scenes to return to when completed.*
* These submissions are only completed when interacting with the quest givers

Your favorite costume
Depending for how long you intend to grind, it's good to throw on a good fit to not get completely bored out your wits end!

Alternative music is also recommended, as it can be tedious hearing the same track on loop.
(Only true Flipwitches listen to spooky airbumps ;))
Location
There are two rooms that are of interest for the grind to work.
In the Ghost Castle, beneath the grand hall floor(s) are two separate rooms. (see picture of map)
After having finished this level, you'll have access to the Crystal Teleporter above the floor of Thimble (seen on the top right).
The Prospect located in the Ghost Castle by player icon

Make the drop from the floor below Thimble (not in picture, edged outside on the right of picture), and traverse the outdoors area past the hulking Zombie.

Enter and you will be in the grind area.
Let's call this The Prospect!
Inside, you'll find 1 Ghost and 2 Skull Knights
This room is your new best friend.

Past The Prospect when coming from the Crystal Teleporter from inside the castle, you'll enter a hallway with a dropfloor to a Save Point.
This room is your other best friend.

Now the stage is set, let's move to:
The Hex Bomb Method
Ladied & gentlemen, I give you: The Hex Bomb Method.

The Method:
Given this is the shortest, straightforward point between a save point and a combat area with a medium amount of low level enemies early-to-mid game, this makes a great opportune room to commit a loop strategy.
While the player will be dipping in and out the same rooms, there's a few things to note about the combat system and overall game design as to reason why The Prospect is an ideal spot:

- Save points
Saving in Flipwitch are relatively penalty-free, but can only be activated once per visit to a room. The reset happens when the player exits and enters the area again.
By using these two locations, the player can travel the shortest amount of time between a save point to the grind area.
Touching any save points completely refills HP and mana.

- Dodging
By far the best passive effect in the game available out the gate, as dodge rolling is the fastest way to move around, without any cooldown period per dodge, making spamming it an ideal way to commute areas.
Dodging grants the player a momentary I-frame to pass by the enemy, and with a finessed dodge, the player can roll and release a bomb at the enemy at the same time up close without taking damage.
Take note, as of writing this guide, the dodge button on controllers can break, making dodging impossible unless the game is totally rebooted. Dying and respawning does not fix it.

- Manabased Charge-ups
Unlike an attack that require a pose and repose, the charge-up and release with the Goblin Bomb item can be done while dodging. This is extremely efficient as the enemies in The Prospect die by one-hits by bombs*.
* not always!

Step 1:
As you enter by the saving point, make a quick save to set your respawn.
Switch to the Goblin Bombs in your inventory. Depending on how many upgrade pickups and visits to Beatrix, the mana bar ought to hold for around 2-3 bomb at a time.
2 are a minimum requirement, but 3 is recommended.
Hit the charge meter until it's maxed out (2 seconds), then proceed to enter room next to the save point.

Step 2:
Right as you step in, there will be facing a Skull Knight and a Ghost. As you take the first couple of steps, depending on the randomized spawn pattern of the enemy, you ought to lob the bomb directly at the Skull Knight's head to kill it.
There's a chance the Ghost, if triggered and floating towards the player, will be caught by the explosion and die as well.
This two for one trick is not guaranteed, but can shave off a lot of time when mastered.
If the Skull Knight is the one killed, charge up and dodge onward following the release.
As the coins drop, dash by loading up the next Bomb to the second Skull Knight in the room, and hit it.

The 2-for-1 aftermath. Red boxes indicate enemy position, "X" the bomb

Sidenote: Should the 2-for-1 not work, charging one last time after offing the second Skull Knight and lob it at the Ghost.
If you're out of mana due to not enough upgrades or misses, manually killing it won't be a hassle as it should have floated down for the player to pull of a chain.

Step 3:
Dodge back towards the save point location, while collecting the coins in the room.
Per encounter with these three, the player will rack between 18-20 coins per round inside the room.
As the player dodge, recharge the bomb while rolling towards the save point and hold the charge-up.

Step 4:
Once made into the save point, touch the statue to refill the mana and any lost HP.
If failing to charge before the save point, now is the time to charge up the bomb before going back to the room again.

Step 5:
????

Step 6:

Aftershock:
While tough at the start, this can be practiced and honed after a few loops. Mishaps like releasing too early, or that the damage of the blast wasn't enough to finish the enemy off has to be considered.
An estimated time to get to 1000 coins ought to be in the 7 to 8 minutes when in a good groove.
My personal best is around 7 minutes and 15 without perfecting or refining the technique beyond what is described, with a good chunk of misses with the lobs.
Comment below if you managed to beat my PB!

By the hour, the player ought to have between 8-10k, enough to at least unlock all the costumes in the game.
Good Luck!
Now get in there and start grinding those bone(r)s!
With this new (almost) foolproof strategy, you can relax as you rack the player hours up for more than just watching the hanky panky!

@SoupDive IIRC the pin is either bought or received at the Cabaret?
It's been a while since I played the game to remember... ( -w-)"

Thanks, man. Didn't realize there were more efficient ones, such as the one you named near Slime City. Much appreciated and thanks for the guide bro bro.

@Kraquirax No sweat!
Any alternative tip is welcome in the comments.

The early-game coin farming technique at the Witchy Woods isn't the most optimal grind zone, personally. The time it takes to grind and the benefit of the Save Point in the next room for healing in case of damage taken outperformed the Witchy Woods one.
However, that was an exploit that I wrote up before discovering the lobby at Slime City further in the game with the same set-up like this. By that time, the only use to grind the Slime City lobby would be to recoup for all the missed coins in Umi Umi, as the game basically gives up on keeping an economy and flush the player with cash! :mrb_boris:

Also, be sure to WATCH your DAMN health, as if you get hit by a bomb goblin before saving, you might lose your 2,000 coins you've been grinding...and cry :)

P.S. Not posting this to diss on your method or anything mean-hearted like that, just wanted to share a method that I discovered while playing. Great thing is that it can be done fairly early game. Also, should I make a guide detailing this method at all?

There's an area at the top of Witchy Woods (4th room from the left) that has a large goblin (the ones with the bats, ya know?) and two bomb goblins.

You can easily farm the large goblin by doing the following:
1. Reload the area by hopping down the closest hole while charging the Goblin Bomb item
2. Jump back up and blast it in the face with a bomb (be sure not to hit the ceiling or it will take 1-2 hits more depending on where you hit the roof)
3. Then roll past it to the left and hit it three times
4. Wait for the attack animation to begin then roll past (if you roll before it plays, it will hit you when you go on his right, so don't be too hasty)
5. Hit the goblin three more times and he'll die

Doing this gives you 20 coins per kill with my fastest kill being about 8 seconds (including collecting the coins) before hopping down the hole again.

Obviously, you'll want to utilize the Fortune Cat and Magnetic Hairpin for this method to work most efficiently.

@「 Bread™ 」Still, great tip!

@「 Bread™ 」I found a late game corridor deep in the Slime area where there's a similar set-up to that of this one, but that far into the game you're either OP enough to handle everything and been showered with cash because of Umi Umi.
The technique would be to use the Moon Beam, and shoot a lobby full of slime enemies, use Fortune Cat, and clean the last two enemies manually, farming over 100 G.
