I. Introduction
Update: 11/10/2024: Wow, four years later and this guide is still up. Hope it works. As I stated in 2020, it has been many years since I played Fable, so I have no idea if this continues to work. If it does, wonderful, if not, I am so sorry. So many years have past since I wrote this. Comment and let me know. I will do some minor tweaks on language since I sounded a bit snarky back then. Cheers.

Update 7/16/2020: Wrote the guide below some years ago and I have not updated it since, but I believe it should still work as is. If it does not, let me know. To get to the point, this is an extensive guide on how to exploit a glitch in the game. Use as you please and enjoy.
II. What is this about?
It is a bit of a hassle trying to achieve a high multiplier without having to run between areas and losing some of it, so we're left with no options but to pursue this. I figured, well, the developers might have made an error (as often is the case) somewhere, so I went fishing for it via the internet. Something was there and actually working for the PC port. After pushing through the story, collecting crap, making too much money the easy way, and collecting more crap, I finally decided to test it out, so let's get to it.

III. What do I need: Potions
Below are the list of items and other stuff you should probably have in order to do this. I am writing this in the context of my game play, so I am not saying this is the only way to go about doing this. If you have another method that works, go for it. In reality, whatever works for you is best. Of course, if you want to replicate what I have done, I have outlined it below just for you.

Potions, lots of them

It is in your best interest to acquire as many potions as you can throughout your time preparing for this. In fact, I would hold off until you feel you are more than comfortable enough with the amount you have. What I have was a lot, but I doubt you need that much. If you are going to achieve some absurd score, by all means carry as much as you can. The most important item here is the WIll Potion. You'll need them in order to keep your Physical Shield in working order and to prevent losing anything from the multiplier.

You can stock up on the Ages of X potions, but if you feel it will take too long to obtain them (or you just refuse to use them), do it the old fashion way and use magic/physical/bow attacks to stack up points. It is much easier to use the Ages of X potions, but the choice is yours.
IV. What do I need: Produce
If you did not know, some produce when consumed provide benefits to the Hero. In this case, we will focus on three important ones to accelerate the way we accumulate points for the three primary skills.

Carrots, Fish, and Red Meat

Carrots provide "Skill" experience when consumed, Fish provides "Will" experience, and Red Meat provides "Strength". These three items give 3 points for X skill when consumed, combine this with a high multiplier, (100+ is probably best for a 3*100=300 points per item consumed) and you'll stack up skill points rather quickly. These do not contribute to the general experience and it isn't necessary because what you will be doing to reach a high multiplier already rewards you general experience. As previously stated, the Ages of X potion gives 1,000 per use, so if you have a multiplier of 20 and use any of the Ages of X potions, you'll end up with 20*1,000=20,000 as the final result. Again, the choice is up to you.

WARNING: Consuming a lot of food in high volumes WILL make your Hero obese, but do not worry, with time and fighting he'll lose weight and achieve his original size. (Another warning, I am going by what others in the community have said). If you are skeptical of this, use a different save slot.
V. What do I need: Armor and Weapon
I suggest using the Solus Greatsword. At the time of writing this was the BEST sword at my disposal. It naturally has the Flame, Health, and Sharpening augmentations. You can use a different sword (or hammer if you're into that), but I always 1-hit kill the enemies we're going to be grinding with.

And if you'd like, Skorm's Bow is cool. I didn't have anything else at the time, so use whatever you please. I 1-hit kill with a few seconds of charging. It should work for you, too.

As per armor, I stuck with the Bright Platemail Suit. Again, whichever works for you here is fine. The dark variant is just as good, too.

VI. What do I need: Skills
This may be up for debate, but I'll tell you what has worked for me and if it works for you, good, and if it doesn't maybe try mine. If you've done something that works, good, everyone is happy.

A build like the image below may be a good start if you're curious to know how my Hero was built. This isn't the perfect way, but killing the enemies has proven effect under this style.

And one more, here.

MAGIC

Note: AWAYS keep an eye on your magic. If you're running low, just consume a Will Potion. Remember this!

Physical Shield: WIthout this skill it is nearly impossible to reach a high multiplier. I was at level 3, but going a bit higher won't hurt. This skill is a MUST so you multiplier does not drop when taking damage, as your magic will tank it.

Summon: Regardless of the level, this will help provide you with some Will points in a very easy-spam-fashion. Just mash the key you've binded it to with a high multiplier and you can obtain Will points very fast.

Lightining: At higher levels you are able to target multiple enemies and partially stun them while kiting around and collecting Will points. I didn't use this as much, but, again, with a high multiplier you can stack points very fast and slowly build the multiplier up.

Slow Time: Useful, but it'll slow the process. I tried it and I didn't really like the results. I want them to spawn at a normal rate, not a slower rate. I suggest avoid using this.

Other magic: Experiment with the other ones if you'd like. I didn't rely on too many of the Will skills because some just didn't cater to my style, but if you find out a new way of going about this, good.

STRENGTH

Hack, slash, cut, chop, rinse and repeat. You'll easily get these points.

SKILL

Use your bow! If that doesn't work, try the produce. Produce is best if you feel like using the bow is too slow.
VII. What do I need: Storyline progress and Location
This is best done immediately after the "Prison Escape" quest where your Hero cuddles in some creepy place. I will not state more for the sake of not spoiling the story. Information below.

As per the location, it is Cliffside Path. To reach this location you'll have to progress through the Lynchfield Graveyard, through the Demor Door, and outside the Underground Tunnel. If you pay attention to the picture I've posted below and the map, you can easily find it. In addition, if the Undead do not spawn where I am located, try moving a bit into the map and then retreating back. This area works well because it is a tight space and they almost always spawn beside you.

VIII. Final Act and Tips
Once you have reached a high multiplier and feel more than ready to spam the produce, go for it. If you didn't obtain as many points as you desired, repeat the same process without advancing the story. Just save and grind again once you're set!

Tip: I clocked over one million Will points using the following: I binded "Summon" to 2, "Slow Time" to 3, the produce "Fish" to 9, and "Will Potion" to 8. When you have reached a high multiplier, I did it around 250, I had a few Undead spawn next to me, ran a circle, and then casted Summon. If it goes well, your Summon should prevent the Undead from moving closer to you and every time you Summon it'll take place at the same location. Here's the tricky part: you want to avoid attacking and just clocking in points. Spam Summon and the consumption of Fish, so press 2 with your left hand's middle finger and press 9 with your right hand's middle finger. When Slow Time finishes, use your left hand's index finger and press 3 to cast it again and when you're low on mana just use your right hand's index finger to press 8 for the Will Potion. Don't worry so much about your multiplier, you'll be obtaining points at a very fast rate. If you start to feel pain, PLEASE take a break. Health comes first.

So again, it is very important that you set your key bindings in a way you can easily spam produce/will potions. Going through the menu will slow you down, so set a produce up to any key and try to keep building up your multiplier while consuming it. It might be awkward at first (depending on your hand size), but it's effective and cuts down on time.

With that, I hope this helps. This is my first guide (obviously), so I expect some errors in explaining my procedure. Provide me with some feedback and I will do what I can to update this guide as I learn more.

Thanks for reading and I hope it helps.

Just master Physical Shield and Health and wait for the "Stop Jack of Blades" quest, then go to town. I've gotten my multiplier past 200 and maxed out general XP. You can easily max strength, skill, and will if you alternate between attack methods.

Huh, just reached there ~400 multiplier + 9 ages potions, which was in total 7 millions exp, also turning my 100% evil into a good farmboy.

hey, thanks for the comment! i will take your word for it. i have not touched fable in years, but if this glitch still works, then that is awesome. glad to see some views pop up every few years. maybe in the future i will revisit this.

Archon's Battle Armor, or whatever his name was, is the best armor you can get. It provides 1109 armor points as opposed to the Bright Plate or Dark Plate armor which only gives you 982 armor points. It can be found in a chest in the Acropolis. You have to get the mission from Scythe before you can go there.

i think i've seen that one before, but i was unable to replicate it. that may explain why i didn't mention it at all, but thanks for the note. i'll check it out.

You can also do this on the Grey House. After you mastered one ability (health for example) you can just go there and kill those undead fuckers. Kill every enemy there except for the huge ones who spawn the small ones. They will keep spawning those zombies until there is no other zombie left so try to not kill those spawners. After maybe half an hour you completely mastered strength for example. And if you dont want to kill them anymore just kill the big guys and do the same another time. I masterd every ability before I even started the first quest after you leave the guild ^^

been a while since i played the game, lol. i tried a few other spots, but it became too inconsistent, so far this one is best, as you've said.

there are 2 other places where you can farm one in darkwood's cullis gate and one at the archon shrine they aren't as good as this one though
