Intro - Palicoes
Sadly, these are just background Felynies.

This guide about the "main" Felynes that will be with ya throughout the game. Just regard them as "Palicoes" that appear in the main Monster Hunter games.

Note: Help me catch any mistakes, incorrect information, bad spellings and grammar. Thanks in advance.

Catavaner


He can take you anywhere and at anytime. Also, the Catavaner can save your progress.

Hotspots

Now what I am calling "Hotspots" are actually points where the Felynes set up shop, so, you can fast travel from Point A to Point B.



Just because ya don't see a Felyne manning the funky umbrellas, doesn't negate its' uses. It still works the same.



Beware of the crash landing, even though you're not on a plane.

Note:

There's a rare achievement if ya locate and activate all of the Catavaner Stargazers. But ya need your Monstries, like the vine climbers and swimmers, to reach some of them.

Connecticat



Connecticat leads ya to where the DLCs are located. So, ya can pay while ya play.
Kitty


Now, some of these felynes, like Kitty here. They're only to move the story along, every errant, rescue mission, and mini-game concerning them is connected to your story arc and journey.
Melynx



Melynx is the proud owner of the "Melynx Inc." store (or underground black market). Ya can trade with him to get special goods, like recipes and cool armor early. Melynx only accepts Bottle Caps, no other currency.

Navirou (AKA Navi-Meowth)


This guy will travel with ya from beginning, middle and end throughout the game. Navirou may be the best thing to happen to you or your own having him as a travel companion is the "Dark Souls of Palico companionship." (In other words, it will turn you to go "Sub wins" in the "Sub vs. Dub" rivalry).

Stats:

"Navi-Meowth" is my personal nickname for him.

His Japanese dub is the most cutest thing ever, I really recommend.

He was in the first Monster Hunter Stories game.

He loves Well-Done Steaks and donuts.

He can give ya stats about the area and monsters, like if nests has vicious monsters/protective parents, if ya collected all the bottle caps in the Everdens, and if the egg's hatchling has perfect IVs and EVs.

Nexus Mod

This mod is for if ya really want to mostly get rid of him (and if my advice doesn't work).

Stable Paw


Now the Stable Paw helps ya with your Monstries, think of him as the Nurse Joy of this game. But cuter and furrier.
Tsukino

Fortune Cookies



Tsukino also hangs out around the Prayer Pot (When she's not spying on ya).



Click on the Tsukino's Lunar Luck and she'll give ya cool but much needed items and supplies. But it's only available once a day. So, check daily for a new item.
