How to Reset "Permanent" 5000 Achievement Games

Remove Achievements for Games such as "Trivia Vault"
Does not require any third-party software
Works for any game!

Finding Your Game App ID

This is the game I will be demonstrating for this guide:

Head over to your Steam Library and type in the game you want to reset achievements for.
Click on that game and click on the settings icon and then click "Properties" then "Updates"
There you will see the "App ID" you will need this for the upcoming steps.

It should look like this:

Opening Steam Console

Now, we want to open the Steam Console which is done by typing "run" in your Windows search bar, type or copy/paste this command: steam://open/console


Click "OK"

Resetting Your Achievements & Stats

NOTE: Resetting your achievements will affect your Average Game Completion Rate. (0%)

Head back to Steam and click on the "Console" tab next to your profile name.

Remember, this will remove ALL achievements as well as stats.

Type this in console: reset_all_stats <appid>

Here's an example of me resetting: Trivia Vault: Food Trivia

is there any solution for ubisoft games ? even after i delete those achievments on steam, it autopops immeadeatly again, when i run the game - becouse it gets ported from my ubisoft connect account ( even if I delete cloud saves there ), happens with AC Mirage

Sometimes the game will grant you all achievements when you turn it on. It depends from game to game, but its generally triggered when loading an old save file.

It reset great! But when I get an achievement now it shows up in game but the achievement doesn't show up on steam

@ Zurzeit offline you could use Achievement Manager but this guide is targeted towards the 5,000 achievement games. Achievement Manager sometimes has a hard time resetting achievements and doesn’t work half the time
