How to Edit Mod From Steam in Game Editor

Guide i made because i can not always hand-hold people thru this exhausting process, especially if they never really investigated steam in their PC before or modded things
Guide is very BULLET POINT focused to let you access editor with the mod, we have informative screenshots and Big Red Arrows

Start the project: chose mod(s) you wanna change and get them from steam

You need to find the mod you wanna edit, we going with this one because i like it

Subscribe and find the mod!

We will use ID as indicator for folder names
MOD ID and Game ID

You need to Launch the Steam and sometimes game/fcs itself to download subscribed

Steam Folder Structure

Steam localization:

Drive (usually C or D)/Program Files (x86)/Steam

Where the Steam install Kenshi:

Steam/Steamapps/Common/Kenshi

Where steam store workshop mods

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\233860

Find the mod by ID name (if you have many of them)

Adding the mods to FCS

Take the selected folder to

Steam/Steamapps/Common/Kenshi/mods


Now you only need to Rename it and launch FCS
Name of the folder need to be identical as name of the .mod file inside!


if everything was done correctly mod Should show up in your FCS
