How to Take Rorke's Pistol in "Sin City" (Veteran Difficulty)

Are you tired of constantly retrying to take Rorke's gun in Veteran difficulty?

Introduction

Let me guess...

You were playing the Call of Duty Ghosts campaign on veteran difficulty,
having fun, until you got to Mission 14: "Sin City".

You, Logan, find yourself tied up on a chair,
next to your brother Hesh and in front of your father Elias.

Rorke, the Ghost Killer, is about to shoot the three soldiers.

You try to steal his weapon by pressing the use button, but nothing happens, you get shot every time.

You have searched all over the internet for the solution, but nothing works.

Calm down soldier, a real Ghost always ends up finding a solution.

Tutorial

It's not very complicated, you'll see.

All you have to do is go to the options menu,
and choose "scroll up" and "scroll down" from your mouse as "use" buttons.

Hold your mouse firmly with one hand,
then scroll up and down as quickly as possible with the other hand.

Don't try to aim at a specific location, like his gun.

is there some sort of glitch? i have 100% the game without doing this, and this is scripted. youre not supposed to be able to have complete control. I also have used the normal button to take his weapon the entire time and its worked.

nope, move mouse around Rorke arm and spam F button or which key you already assign.
