risk of rain returns save file edit

The game is fun but sometimes confusing and frustrating to unlock things. Instead of trying to find something in one particular map for a couple hours, you can just simply unlock the character with a simple line of words.

Locating the file

The first thing you will have to do is to navigate to your save.json file.
Program File (x86) > Steam > userdata >1337520 (this folder might be different for, just check the last modified date, for example 11/8, which is the games release date) > remote > save.json
Open the file with any program you desire.
Do note that this will only work when you enter it after "flags":[
So do a search in the file to find out where your supposed to mess around with
You have to press save file to make it work.

Unlocking characters

To unlock a character, type "challenge_unlock_characters name_completed",

There are a total of 14 artifacts, 12 of them can be found in the map, 1 of them (artifact of prestige) is obtained by having 15 trials with a golden medal, 1 of them (artifact of dissonance) is obtained by finding its pieces.
