Locate the files for MGS 3
To locate the files for MGS 3 you should do the following:
Right click on Metal Gear Solid 3 Master Collection then select Properties
After that, select Installed files and then Browse, the location of the files should open.
Deleting Save Data
Once you are in the MGS 3 folder, open "mgs3_savedata_win", and then open the folder that it's inside "mgs3_savedata_win"
After opening both folders, you should get the following files:
Each file (not counting launcher) is one save file on the game, as seen on the images I have 5 folders and in-game I have 5 save files, each folder has a number in the end of it to represent which save file it is in-game

For example we can delete the last folder which is the save file 5 in-game represented by being named "STE1316501G000005", Once deleted it should not longer appear in the game.

I'm haven't checked yet but perhaps you can delete save files for the other MGS games the same way. Hope this guide help y'all !

Thanks to Locoast for the idea on the guide!

Actually, I have tried doing the following:
Opening the game and being on the load game option.
Then deleting the Data
Steam cloud should not try to recover that data since the game is still running.

Don't forget to also delete "steam_autocloud.vdf" when launching the game with steam cloud turned off.

Try turning off steam cloud save feature by going to properties then general, delete save data, open the game and then close it and then turn on the cloud save. That could work

Nope, not working. It keeps getting the data from the cloud bacl to my locally PC. I can't get it upload it back to the Steam Cloud Save.

You could try deleting "steam_autocloud", I haven't experienced steam trying to download them again but you could give it a try.

Super duper thanks for doing this!
But there is one problem.... I have enabled Steam Cloud Saves, when im deleting a save it resync the save back to the folder... It seems it only writes back from the steam cloud back to the PC but not visa versa (from locally to the Steam Cloud)

Do you know how to write it back If I delete a savegame locally back to the Steam Cloud?
