TEMPORARY FIX 16:9 WIDESCREEN MGS1

This guide is about a temporary reshade-based fix to stretch the MGS1 resolution from 4:3 to 16:9

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION

1. Download Reshade: reshade.me
2. Once the reshade has been downloaded, we proceed to install it
- Open the reshade
- Once opened, press the "Browse" option
- We look for the .exe of our MGS1 and press "next"
- We choose the option "DirectX 10/11/12" and press "next" 2 times
- Now we have to choose the filters, we press the option at the top right "Uncheck all" twice to select all the filters and we press next
- We wait for the filters to be downloaded and installed (depending on your internet, this is what will take you)

3. Configure reshade within the game
- Once inside the game, the reshade installed at the top will appear




- Once the filters finish compiling, we open the reshade with the default key "home"




- Many filters will appear, click up on the reshade search engine and look for the "RA_ImageAdjustment" filter
- Once the filter is activated, we configure it in the section below the reshade
- We look for the configuration options of the filter called:
"Horizontal Overscan" we leave it at "26"
"Vertical Overscan" we leave it at "5"
