The textures would definitely make it look better, no doubt about that, but I wasn't truly able to implement that into this map. Plus, Blood runs on an upgraded version of the BUILD engine. Not too far upgraded but it uses a technique called "Room over Room" or "RoR" for short, and this technique allows for room overlapping in the BUILD Engine which isn't possible by normal means. In Blood, the BUILD Engine got a bit of an upgrade, allowing for what's called "True Room over Room" allowing for players to see 2 sectors overlapping without horrible textural errors and bugs. That's why the wall blowing up on the second floor was not put in due to TRoR not being available in this Megaton port. There is plenty more detail, but that's just the basics.

I agree with previous commenters that Blood textures would do it more justice, but that's because the aesthetics of the two games are entirely different (and I'm fairly positive that Blood's version of build was greatly improved compared to the DN3D one). Overall, the map was nicely done and brought back some (chilling) memories!
