Classes
For The King 2 brings six returning classes and six brand-new classes to the fray! Included in the favorites you’ll find some of For The King’s most prominent classes such as the Blacksmith, Scholar, and Herbalist.
Also arriving in the lands of Fahrul as playable classes for the first time and ready to rise up and join the fray are new occupations and adventurers, like the Alchemist and Stablehand!
But without further ado, let’s dig into the new (and returning!) classes in For The King 2.
Returning Classes
Blacksmith

Blacksmith is back and bringing with it its efficiency as the party tank. Starting out with a shield and one-handed hammer, the Blacksmith offers protection for your backline of characters with their class passive, Steadfast, and equipment passive, Guard.
Focusing on Vitality, Blacksmiths fill the brawler and tank role perfectly.

Hunter
Hunters have made themselves a constant thorn in Queen Rosomon’s side ever since she first began her march towards corruption. Bringing with them their deadly bow and expansive knowledge of the wilds.
Hunters perform best as ranged damage dealers. Sometimes sitting in the back row for long-range attacks, but don’t be afraid to push your Hunter to the front row of combat after providing them with a Quarterstaff that matches their predisposition towards the Awareness stat.
Equipped with several skills to help take advantage of their extensive knowledge of the less traveled paths and trails of Fahrul. Elite Ambush and Elite Sneak will make sure it’s easier to get the upper hand on your enemies on the overworld, while Called Shot provides the Hunter with the opportunity to deal a Critical Hit upon achieving a perfect attack roll.

Scholar
Book-smart and ready to crush the corrupt forces of the Queen, Scholars join the battle once more bringing with them their penchant for the academics and blowing stuff up with magic.

Scholars make for a great magical ranged class. Built with Intelligence in mind, the Scholar is the perfect class to pick up the Tome, Staff, or Wand and start throwing magical splash abilities at the enemy.
Unlocked by default, the Scholar is your best bet at crowd control and magical damage when starting out in For The King 2, with their two passive skills aiding them even further!
Find Scroll provides the Scholar with a chance to discover any of the scrolls found throughout For The King 2 at the end of their turn.
Refocus, however, provides a chance to regain Focus at the end of a turn inside a dungeon or out on the overworld.

Herbalist
Party Heal coming through! The Herbalist makes a glorious return in For The King 2. Contributing to the party makeup by granting the party support skills in combat and the overworld.
Godsbeard, Golden Root, Panax—The Herbalist knows it all. And with their Find Herb passive, they’ll be discovering all sorts of herbs littered across the rolling hills of Fahrul.
In combat, the Herbalist is a great support role. Able to provide group heals during combat and in rest phase, the Herbalist may just be the final piece of the puzzle your team needs to head into the battlefield. But fear not, the Herbalist also brings with them a powerful arsenal of magical abilities that stat with their excellent intelligence stat!

Woodcutter
Not satisfied with just chopping through the forests scattered throughout the lands, the Woodcutter has once again picked up their axe for the fate of Fahrul.
The Woodcutter brings a lot to combat. With high Strength, Awareness, and Speed, the Woodcutter can choose to provide the party with a Tank or Damage Dealer.
With the Woodcutter’s passive, Justice, you’ll want to grab a two-handed weapon for the best chance to deal the most damage, giving you a chance to deal splash damage with your melee weapon on perfect single-target attacks.
New Classes
It’s been 20 years since our beloved King Bronner was assassinated by agents of Chaos. 20 years since our heroes sacrificed themselves to halt Vexor’s destructive drive to destroy the peace King Bronner had brought to these golden lands.

...And with that sacrifice, they inspired a new generation of heroes. Rising from the ashes of their once proud Kingdom, these heroes long discarded by the Monarch they once swore allegiance to now bring with them a range of abilities, talents, and weapons to the fight against Rosomon herself.

Alchemist
While not the most conventional of allies, the Alchemist’s expertise in destroying enemies at a chemical level is unsurpassed—and while their loyalty may not be displayed in the standard manner, we promise they’re throwing explosives for the cause and not just a rush!
Farmer
The Alchemist is another fantastic magical damage class, but offering utility elsewhere with their Find Potion ability allowing them to discover Bombs while out on the road.
Not only can the Alchemist pack a magical punch, but they can also pack a whole bunch of volatile chemicals into an enclosed glass bottle, perfect for launching at a pack of ferocious Goblins ready to use your bones as toothpicks.

Queen Rosomon’s constant strive for power led many Farmers to pick up the Pitchfork for a cause other than their cattle and fields. The Farmer makes for another great tank unit, with their Scarecrow ally joining you in combat as a damage sponge for aggressive enemies, all the while freeing the Farmer up to provide the party with another set of physical melee damage. Their stats spread across Strength, Vitality, and Awareness, the Farmer might just be the perfect class to round out your party with their versatility.
Stablehand
Stablehands spend much of their time cleaning up others' messes. Joining The Resistance to fend off the aggressive actions of a corrupt Queen isn’t all that much different to the Stablehand who is used to rolling up their sleeves and getting a little dirty.
The Stablehand is no stranger to hard work, a benefit that shines through in combat. Once a Stablehand uses their last point of Focus in combat, they’ll be awarded a second Primary Action, meaning with optimized Focus management you’ll really be able to get the most out of this Speed-based character.
Secrets…
With 12 total classes joining us in For The King 2, six new and six returning, we want to leave you with just a few that you’ll have to discover yourself. Eager to find out what these classes are? You’ll just have to join the Resistance and fight back against the Queen’s corrupt forces to find out!
