The problem
Want to race and make points for your Club, but don't really like their livery, or you'd rather have another one?

This guide is for you then, it'll teach you how to get the livery you want without having the problem of not scoring for your Club.

So, let's get started.
Create the livery you want
Simple step. [Skip this one if you already created the livery you want]

-Select the vehicle you want to change the livery
-Select "Vehicle Livery"
-Create a new livery

When you have it done, it would look like this example.

Create a "fake" Club
A bit longer, but nothing special, pretty straight forward.

-In your browser, go to http://racenet.codemasters.com
-Select GRID Autosport as the game you want to manage
-Select Club HQ
-Select "My racing clubs"
-Press "Create a club"

Follow the instructions to create a club, when you are done, go back to "My racing clubs" and it should look like this

In this case I have two clubs but my main club is [FBI], and I don't want to change their livery.

The club I want to mess with is "Iggy 5 Ever", so, just set it as the active club pressing "Make Active"

After making it active, it should look like this (NOTE: You do not need to leave the other club)

Now, get back in game, get to the main menu (leave the online) just to make sure it refreshes, and makes your Club the one you had set on Racenet.
Then just join back, and select "Racenet Club" and make sure it is on the club you can/want change the livery.
Set your Club's livery
Go back to the car you want to make the changes, and get to where you can select the livery you want

Press the key/button that is labeled "Livery Options", and you should get this menu

Then, just select "Set Racenet Club Livery". This will make the livery you selected to be the club's livery, that means, when you use that car with that livery, you will make points for the Club you are active on.

Then, select "Racenet Club Livery", and if everything went well, it should be the same as the one you had set before.

Just like this example.
Get back to the Club you want
After doing this, you are on a different Club (ofc, duuh), so, we just need to set the Club we want active.

To do this, get back here

Now, simply set the Club you want (in my case [FBI])

Do the same procedure as you did when you changed your Club to the "fake" one (after the second image).
Checking if everything went fine
Now, let's check if everything is alright.

Create a multiplayer, if you want privacy, make it invisible, by going to "Online Options" and setting "Session Visibility" to Closed

When you get to where you can change you car and it's livery, check the "Racenet Club Livery", but do not select it!

As you can see, it's different from the one we've set before, but, don't worry!

DO NOT SELECT "RACENET CLUB LIVERY"! It'll take back all the work we've done, so, simply go back from this menu, and nothing should be changed.

When you go back, it might have the Racenet Club Livery you don't want, but just "see" another car (no need to select another car), and get back to your car, and everything will be fine. Also, when you go to a race, even while in the menu it shows your Club's livery, in a race your car should spawn with the livery you set before.

As you can see, my tag is [FBI] but I'm not using their livery. Yes, you tag changes (from not having one, to have your Club's) due to your car's livery. If your car's livery wasn't set to "Racenet Club Livery" it won't score points for your Club.

What we had done, was, tricking the game, telling it that our active Club's livery was the one we made, but when we changed back to the Club we wanted, the game didn't change the livery of the car, but it still reads it as a "Racenet Club Livery".
Tadaam!
And there you go!

Now you can race with the livery you want, but you'll still score points for your Club.

Hopefully this will work for a long time, it has worked for me with no problems.

I'll keep you updated if anything changes!

Have fun, and good racing :)

Maybe they have patched it on some way :( I haven't played this in quite a while, but I'm quite certain it scored points for the club you had active on Racenet.

Good job!
I've founded that trick by myself, but would be very useful for everybody else. :trafficcone:
