Misato's Apartment (Neon Genesis Evangelion)

Neon Genesis Evangelion is an anime. And it's about folks fightin' monsters using giant mech suits! Also there's a part where someone gets congratulated. …and that's about all I know about the show myself!


This is my first commissioned map! A recreation/port of Misato's Apartment from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Now, right off the bat, I will say that this 3D realization is not all my effort alone--I give massive credit to KnightCop on ModDB, as their Doom port of the apartment was referred to me as reference to use for this map! If you're into both Doom and NGE, then I should probably suggest that you go give them a look!

Now, I've never watched NGE, only seen minimal bits and pieces, and some crossover fanarts with it. So I can't really write a whole big blurb about it here, can I. So instead, let's just cut to the chase.

Map features included:
~ The full of Misato's Apartment as seen in KnightCop's recreation
~ A small amount of negative "apartment building" space outside the front door
~ All the cabinet doors are openable!
~ Pen Pen's fridge is openable!
~ There is a functional mirror in the bathroom!
~ The veranda door/bedroom window curtains can be toggled by pressing E on their supporting bars!
~ A few custom models are included in the map, with one spawnable from the spawnmenu!
~ A custom sky based on the NGE mobile game is also included!
~ The map is ground-noded

The map can be found under rp_misato_apartment; time-of-day variants are also found under the _2 and _3 variants

A SFM-tailored version will be available at a later time elsewhere.
