Weapons and Power up Rankings

This is the weapons and power up rankings

Shotgun

The best gun in the game one shots default infected enemies the best power ups.


S tier

Inventory

Gives more inventory space nothing much to talk about not the best power up but a useful one can stack up to 4 times


B tier

Flare Gun

The second worst gun in the game it can set enemies on fire only good for killing hordes of enemies or to kill corpses i rarely used it when i played endemic mode

D tier

CrossBow

The worst weapon in the game it is outclassed by every gun and it's only use to be silent has ZERO purpose because it is only good for killing single targets or killing corpses but the Stuffed Shells+Shotgun combo does it BETTER and faster. However it has infinite ammo if you pick up your arrows so not totally bad.

D tier

Stuffed Shells

Gives more shells in shotgun allows shotguns to one shot corpses making the shotgun able to one shot all basic infected enemies

A tier

Double Packed

A 50% chance to not use pistol ammo good because you have to reload less

A tier

Flame Hand

Can kill all normal infected in about 5-7 seconds has a large cooldown can be upgraded to decrease it good for killing enemies when you have no ammo

B tier

Thorns

This is a average power up can one shot rats which helps because rats are FOUL PUNGENT DISGUSTING beings pairs good with vampirism so you take no damage from rats

C tier

Full Pockets

A chance for ammo to drop on the death of a enemy idk the chance but in my experience it's about a 25% chance to drop this can come in clutch when your low on ammo

B tier

Medical Satchel

A useful but not a good power up allows you to pick up two extra syringes good if your lazy like me

C tier

Health

Gives extra health very good having more health is the most important thing since it's harder to die saved me many times

A tier

Vampirism

Gives health when you deal damage to enemies pairs good with thorns like i said earlier can be upgraded if you are careful you can heal your self to max hp

S tier

Flare Net

Nearly the worst power up you have to use the geometry of the map to get the flare to bounce back into your net

D tier

Quick Wind

What happens when you get a power up for the worst gun in the game? you get the worst power up in the game

D- tier

Bosses

There are no images deal with it and i can't be bothered

Blobl

Difficulty: Easy

Strategy: Dodge the lasers then dodge as it chases you when it goes to the middle shoot it with a shotgun and try to reload before the lasers power up again

Ammo Location: corners

Slashr

Difficulty: Medium

Strategy: Avoid the slash attack shoot with shotgun then dodge the spiky balls (If i see any comments about this i will be disappointed) then reload the time after a attack is quite a long time

Misslr

Difficulty: Easy

Strategy: Go to the place without missile markers and shoot then avoid the boss rushing attack

Spikr

Difficulty: Hard

Strategy: Run from the blue spirit and look at the direction of the link go towards it wait for a opening go inside shoot the creature inside with shotgun

Ratr

Difficulty: Easy

Strategy: Go to a corner with a long hallway and look for the ! and the boss will come from the direction of the ! shoot with shotgun then use flare gun

cross is the second best weapon in all the game, and with the upgrade to reload faster is even better, what I would call the worst weapon is the flare gun, only useful on the campaign bc on endemic mode is trash

Crossbow is an A tier, at least for the beginning. Not a lot of ammo in the starting levels, saves a ton by one-shotting zombies (infected scientists) and using pistol for rats.

For me I would put the crossbow in A tier as it gives you unlimited ammo and it supports my play style of room clearing.

My guy really called flame hand, a power up that can kill every enemy in the game except for bosses with a single affliction and requires zero ammo, B tier. It also triggers full pockets and vampirism, so it's quite literally free ammo and health. It also allows you to deal with some bosses like Blobr while focusing only on dodging, since you can light it on fire during it's missile attack if you don't want to/suck at reloading fast.

A shotgun is good for bosses, a crossbow is good for everything else, in my opinion.
I cursed myself several times for upgrading the flare gun

in my opinion, I don't think crossbow is that bad. sure it isn't a very good boss killer, but the reusable ammo really makes it easy to save up ammo for when you need it. plus its an easy corpse trap killer (2 shot kill) that doesn't need to use up non-renewable ammo.

personally i think its better than the flare gun, but not the others. But hey, your guide not mine
