A detailed guide to clear every stage of Helltaker, Examtaker, the Secret Ending and all the achievements.

Chapter Ⅰ: Pandemonica, The Tired Demon

The first demon you need to charm is Pandemonica, The Tired Demon.
Do these moves to make your way through your first challenge towards building your harem.

Clearing the first chapter gives you the first achievement, 1/10.

  Doomtaker: Romance a Demon. 

Chapter Ⅱ: Modeus, The Lustful Demon

Next up is Modeus, The Lustful Demon.
Do these moves to get Modeus to join your harem.

Chapter Ⅲ: Cerberus, The Triple Demon

Cerberbus, The Triple Demon. who could say no to 3 puppies
These moves can help you win the hearts of the triple demons.

Chapter Ⅳ: Malina, The Sour Demon

Now for the gamer girl Malina, The Sour Demon.
For this chapter you don't really need to get the key there is an alternative path through which you can also find the secret fragment. You NEED the fragments to get the secret ending.

Finally someone to play turn based strategy games with, choose this dialogue option to get her to join.

Using the other path by finding the fragment you get the second achievement, 2/10.

 Pathtaker: Disregard the key. 

Chapter Ⅴ: Zdrada, The ♥♥♥♥♥ Demon

Next is Zdrada, The ♥♥♥♥♥ Demon.
Half way there you got this, do these moves to clear the chapter.

You also get the second fragment which is necessary for the secret ending.
Choose this dialogue.

Chapter Ⅵ: Azazel, The Curious Angel

Now time for Azazel, The Curious Angel.
Don't know how she got here but anyways.

You find the last fragment here, now you use these fragments to unlock the secret ending. Choose this dailogue.

 Looking for demons. 

Choosing the dialogue ‘Looking for angels’ gets you the third achievement, 3/10.

  Heaventaker:Abandon your quest. 

There is an another achievement in this chapter.
You have to click ‘L’ to ask for life advice and choose this option

 Kill Yourself. 

This gives you your fourth achievement, 4/10.

 Lifetaker: Find Some Peace.

Chapter Ⅶ: Justice, The Awesome Demon

Next up is Justice, The Awesome Demon.

Chapter Ⅷ: Lucifer, The CEO of Hell

Lucifer, The CEO of Hell. Finally we reach the queen.
There isnt really a puzzle in this chapter u just walk forward go right once, walk till you reach the last skeleton and move into his place.
There are two dialogues here choose these options to complete the chapter.

 No thanks. But you can join my harem

 I can offer coffee, turn based strategies and chocolate pancakes 

And you get her in your harem with the help of some good chocolate pancakes.
Upon completing this chapter you will get your achievement, 5/10.

  Queentaker: Survive the audience. 

Chapter Ⅸ: Judgement, The High Prosecutor

Our next and final opponent is Judgement, The High Prosecutor.
To get to the gate do these moves.

You also get an achievement for reaching the gate. 6/10

  Gatetaker: Reach the Gate. 

Now you will go from doing puzzles with limited moves to a boss battle with infinite moves.
Tips:-
There is a conveyor belt that keeps moving downward. There are spikes on the topside and the bottom side so avoid them.
You just have to dodge the chains, you can see where they are going to hit so move when they get close to you.
Just don't lose any health while the chains are flashing and wait for the conveyor belt to stop.When they stop you have to destroy the larger chains on the sides while dodging chains.
You can memorize the pattern of the chains so be patient and strike the bigger chains when possible.
There are four stages, chains start to appear from different directions making it harder.
It may take a couple a tries but it is easy once you get the hang of it. You got this!!

Beating judgement will get you the seventh achievement, 7/10.

  Sintaker: Beat the Boss. 

Chapter Ⅹ: Epilogue+Secret Ending

Now that you have completed your harem give them the delicious chocolate pancakes.
To do the secret ending you have to be in this stage and have all the fragments.
Go to the middle of the carpet and do these moves:

(Btw you can also find this instructions on the fragments you just have to pause the game and you will see the directions there)
After you do this ritual a portal will open where you will meet Beelzebub, The Great Fly. Yes the same fly from the main menu.

Doing this ritual gets you the eight achievement 8/10

 Abysstaker: Make the steps. 

Chapter EX: Examtaker

Now the real suffering begins. The last two achievements are going to hurt you mentally.

Phase one.This one is easy, just do these moves.

Phase two. Pain begins.

                        
 You have unlimited moves in this phase, you just have to avoid the lasers. There is a pattern to them as well, so be patient and wait for the sequence to move for forward. I cant really any give you any more tips on this you just have to be quick with your movements
       

Phase three. Back to puzzles again. Nice.

Phase four.Laser again.Pain

                        
 Again you have to move blocks while avoiding lasers,You have to again be really quick. First kill the switch in the top right corner then move down.   
       

Phase five. Almost there

Damn,That’s a lot of moves. You will get an achievement for clearing the five phases without skipping them 9/10

 Puzzletaker: Prove your wits. 

Phase six. The last trail.

                        
  Again you have unlimited moves. You have start from the top right corner and hit the switch there, next you have to hit the switch in the left corner. Again try to memorize the sequence and move quickly to avoid lasers. You need to have perfect timing.
       

Phase seven.Time for the boss battle.

                        
 Battletaker is harder than the sintaker stage in helltaker. Again you have unlimited moves in this stage. There aren't any random patterns in this stage you just have to keep trying to figure out the pattern after the whole sequence you have to hit the boss. Now repeat this twice. It can get quite hard as there are lot of things going around on the screen.It is definitely hard and will take a LOT of tries

(Only 9.3% of players have this achievement) so keep trying to achieve your glory

You can spam the Pause menu right before the chains / laser or a boss attack to plan your next move. The pause menu overlay is not opaque so you can kind of make out whats going on in the map and plan your move. This helped me get to 100% completion.

@mc_davit I know that you're supposed to get the ancient inscriptions. I'm just wondering the following:

1. Does unlocking all of them once permanently unlock the secret ending if I decided to start playing at Chapter IX where I last left off?

2. Or do I have to play all ten chapters in one single playthrough in order to even get the chance to unlock the secret ending?

3. In other words, does the game save my progress in unlocking all the fragments?

I've gotten up to Chapter IX and the boss battle is a bit difficult for me, so I have some questions regarding the Secret Ending. Even if I skip to Chapter IX at a later time, do I still have all the fragments necessary to unlock the secret ending within my inventory? Or can you only get the secret ending by playing the whole game without skipping any levels?
