What to give all the different residents of the valley to get them to like you.

How to give Gifts

The map is filled with lots of npc's, most of which are vendors able to sell you things, the prices of which they sell them at or if they are even going to sell to you in the first place is controlled by how much that character likes you.
One way to improve your relationship with them is to give them gifts by talking to the NPC and selecting the 'shall we talk?' option you can see a list of the items to give them. Generally the pricier or harder to obtain the item is the more their affection for you will increase by giving them it.

Farm of Thadeus

Our Long suffering next door neighbours, Thadeus specifically starts at the lowest possible affinity for the main character having had to live next to his drunk ass this whole time. To help sooth over his anger at you there is a tank just north of their land which if opened contains several items he likes as gifts.
